Hello,
Is there a way to change the status bar to a transparant one without having to flash some kind of tweaks?
I kina like my phone setup as it is right now (VI401 with nova prime) and have a hidden toggle to hide the statusbar on my homescreen.
The bar stay's visible at the lockscreen, whilst the info is verry handy, the black bar covers some of my wallpaper, and i don't like it this way.
Would it be possible to change the PNG file(s) with a transparant one at some location? Where would that/these locations be?
I'n quit new to android, and have no developpers skills. Finding correct dirs and making my own PNG files is no pob for me.
Cheers,
adam

Does anyone know how the Date/Time slider dials work on our Optimus 3D?
I would like to theme the ugly cyan color overtop of the slider to something else, but can't find any graphic for it in the framework-res or systemUI apks.
I'm wondering if its a small separate apk running with the android core system or something like that?
If anyone can help me find out where it is in the system, i'd be forever grateful :highfive:
Hello everyone. I hope someone read this post and can help me solve the problem. I'm going crazy to change the icons of the navigation bar in my Tab 2 Gtp-3110 (Jelly Bean 4.1.2). The device is rooted, with the exposed and the busybox installed. I tried many tutorial on the web (and XDA) but none of them was functional. Below my experiences:
-SYSTEMUI ICONS (systemui.apk editor): although I have assigned a new personal icon (30x30 32bit png) from the gallery to the existing one, nothing is changed at the next reboot
-Android L Navigation Bar.apk (aka lollipop navbar): After activating the xposed module and modifying the build.prop as suggested, nothing is changed at the next reboot and the navbar icons remain those of the stock firmware
-xstana: it works but navbar icons are all moved to the right and side by side (without spacing from the icons)
-Ultimate Dynamic Navbar: it works, but it's an extra service (about 10 mb) and it's not a real alternative to modify the navbar (otherwise the icons are not customizable and you can only choose those available from the app)
Now I'm trying to modify directly the systemUI.apk but I can not figure out which icons I have to replace. Can you give me a hand?

I was wondering if anyone could help me through doing some coding on it, cause u can change any code of the launcher by long press on the screen.
The changes that I really want :
Show the status bar
Support Persian language
Add any pictures for background
Change the font style
Add battery information

This is my Covid19 side-project where I'm modifies the default boring SystemUI that come with XA1 Plus with something more enjoyable to look at.
As of now here is the list of all the modifies that I've done so far:
Utilize android 11 brightness icon
Make QS grid to 4x2 instead of the default 3x3
Move brightness controll to the bottom so it easier to reach
Move Clock to the left, move battery percent to the right
Make Lockscreen clock have bold hour and light minutes (Good old sony clock)
Change Tile color so it look better (from my perspective)
Althoght having all that, it still contain one known issue and that is QQS and QS don't have same tile icon (This issue are more easy to try and see than put it in word) that might be fix by this google commit on SystemUI: here so if you know some smali and java stuff you could try to fix that, I do but have some error and I kindda lazy so it your turn now
How to install ?
Just flash the WhiteUI.zip bellow and you good to go, the apk was made for XA1 Plus but XA1 Ultra can run it as well so I guess XA1 can also using it
can you give me some tuts how i can make Coustom UI for orea myself?
