[Q] Plex for Android video slowdowns - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Just wondering, since the ICS update playing video's with plex (streaming them from a server) isnt posible anymore it seems like the video plays with 10 or 15 fps. Anyone else having this problem? MKV's from an usb stick doesnt work great either (with bsplayer lite) only avi's play fine.
Anyone noticing the same problems?

TV Out best Video Playback settings

I have a Fuze-NAFT 4.6 STANDARD- phone and I have been trying to play some videos (nSTC-.avi.h263 codec encoded 640*480)using coreplayer. Video plays fine on phone but a blue flash appears every 2or3 seconds on the tv. Now all apps, youtube, CV, and Media Player works perfectly. Although I dont use media player to view videos because it cannot play .avi. Should I try converting for media player or is there a fix or reason y the blue flashes appear only when playing .avi(coreplayer)?
Don't feel bad it's not just you. I have had the same issue while using coreplayer and Tv out.
I would like to know if there is a solution out there as well.
tv out blue flashes Coreplayer
Great, now since im not the only person maybe we can get some help on the matter. I havent seen anything regarding the subject so all comments are welcome. Anyone find a way to watch their videos(movies dvd rips) using tv out without problems and what settings are u using to convert and for what player? Could solve alot of headaches!! I like coreplayer but whatever works is fine with me!
Have you tried going to video settings and changed driver from Qtv to direct draw.. This will fix it..
Yes thanks!! Its alright until cp2.0 is released.

[Q] Problem with YouTube video playback

Hello,
Suddenly I have a problem with YouTube video playback. The videos start streaming ok, but the appear small (not fullscreen) and very low quality. It used to work fine. The locally recorded videos play nice even in 720p. The problem is with the streaming video player.
I installed the LagFix (which works miracles) at somepoint earlier. Do you think that this could cause this problem? Any one else has seen it? The device is a Samsung S.
Thanks,
Michael

[Q] Strange DNLA issue

I have a weird problem. I've used skifta and UpnPlay for DLNA. Both of them work great at finding media. When I play the media on moboplayer or MX Video Player the video starts and everything looks great, but then after about 10 to 15 seconds I loose the sound. The Video continues to play and looks good, but no sound. If I advance the video the sound comes back for about 10 to 15 seconds and then it goes off again. Then if I keep doing that the media player seems to lock up.
Is anyone else having this issue? My source DLNA is windows media center 7. Can someone else try this an let me know if you experience the same problem?
I think this is the usual HD issue with Tegra2. I bet you would have the same problem if the files are local.
(This is the main problem I have with my GTablet w/HC. Otherwise it would be a good tablet).
For my TF, I have to encode videos as AppleTV 720p (this will choke my GTab exactly as you experienced)

XBMC

This works flawlessly on my phone but doesn't play any videos on my TF700.
Anybody else got it working?

Look for XBMC for OUYA, this works perfectly.
I'm running XBMC Frodo 12.2 from xbmc.org and it works fine.
I got it from xbmc.org but no videos play. (I have MX player installed and I have previously used it)
Sorry but I'm not sure what could be wrong because I know next to nothing about xbmc. I thought xbmc uses its own internal player and not mxplayer but that's purely a guess.
Are you trying to run videos from add-ons like icefilms or stream files from a computer? If the later, have you tried skifta? I've had no problems streaming files from my computer using skifta/mx player combo. I did find, however, that xbmc seems to buffer videos better than skifta/mx player.
I know at least a few people on the board uses xbmc because that's how I got turned to it. Hopefully someone who knows a lot more than me can help out!
Hardware Acceleration Coming to XBMC 13
If you were trying to play HD videos in XBMC, you will run into problems due to the lack of hardware acceleration support in XBMC for Andriod. They have recently released an alpha version that supports this feature. It is the alpha #7 release. I have been using it since and aside from minor bugs that come from using an alpha version, it works great.

[Q] ftp video streaming probmem

Hello,
Recently I bought HTC one s for my wife and we encountered the following problem:
I have NAS (network attached storage) and there I store all of my home made videos. If I download a video from the NAS to the
local storage of the phone it can be played fluently without any issues (1080p .mov format) with mx player. The problem is
if I want to stream the video using es file explorer and mx playerv it cannot be played fluently, actually it stutters like hell and the audio is tottaly
unsynchronised and also stuttering. I tried maybe all video players on the market but to no avail-all of them were stuttering. I also tried software and hardware decoding-the difference is very small and the playback is still unacceptable.
Please give me some advise how to fix this issue
