I don't know of anyone got this offer but Box.net is offering 50 GB of free online storage(100mb file limit) when you sign in with your Xperia phone with the Box app.
Been using it myself and it works great. PC or phone to cloud.
Don't work for them. Just spreading the joy.

I was wondering why Gameloft has a problem with android market bc yesterday I bought a game via my Galaxy Tab and they took it out of my paypal but I never got the game and now I have sent them two emails and have to call them tomorrow and I am like 85% sure this would not have happened with the Android market.
Out of curiosity, did you read the license for the games purchased from their site? You can only re-download a game on the same phone you bought it (and same sim-phone number), and only for 3 years. Not sure if i remember well, but it might even had a limit of how many times you can download a game!
I would never ever buy anything from their site.

Legitimately is what you're after
There is an upper size limit on apps from the marketplace, currently 50MB I believe, by offering applications directly they can bypass this limit. For example, NFS:Shift is roughly 120MB and Asphalt:HD is just on 100MB. I'm pretty sure both download additional data to the SD Card as well.
Other games have a small client and just download a mass of extra data (e.g. that shadow souls or whatever that new RPG game is called that downloads ~1GB of data), so they could adopt that method, presumably they choose not to.
They also probably want a bigger cut of the profits by charging directly, they'd probably have much better exposure in the marketplace though.

Legitimately thats it....
Update with them: They sent me the games that I wanted(spider-man hd, dungeon hunter hd(buy one get one free)) and created me an account after I called them and explained my mistake so it was cool...
Until the bug in the game spider-man hd where it wont load the stage called, "Mystery Infection Strikes City" so I called them and they said to keep spider-man hd on my tablet and they should be issuing an update in a few months and they sent me a free game(hero of Sparta) for all my troubles.
About them on the market: Well that sucks bc if they were on the market they could issue updates faster; but then again since they have different versions for different devices(for some reason) it may get a bit confusing.
FYI NFS installer is around 20mb (smaller for Ashphalt5HD), the 120 MB is the total after downloading the data once in the game.
So that's not a reason for market avoidance (both NFS and Ashphalt are on the market anyway, least here in the UK and also both are available for free in samsung apps regardless).
I downloaded Spiderman of the site, and evertime i try it i get a "this is not an official copy of spiderman" error and it closes, i have tried over wifi, or 3g, and with the SIM i had at the time of purchase in the tab.
I'm not that bothered about the game though, it was one of my vouchers from the samsung pack anyway.

click the link to get 5 gb + free online storage :
MOD EDIT: REMOVED LINK
Ya this has been around for a while. I like the 5GB but sugarsync desktop manager sucks. Its bloated and Way too slow. Although dropbox only gives you 2GB not to mention they also just had a security breach, I think it's faster (in pretty every way too. Start up, sync, etc)
It's also nicer looking and less complicated.

Right been reading through the this specific forum for the one s and trolling the website, but have not found the definite answer. How much of the 1gb ram is useable and also the same for the memory 16gb. I have hear there is 12gb of storage and them 10gb. And the also 10gb for normal use and then 2gb left for installing apps???
Hope someone can answer the questions
Right out of the box you usually have around 10GB of storage available.
The apps storage is 2GB.
System ROM: 1.7GB
Internal: 2.5GB
SD Card: 10.6GB
Plus 25GB dropbox

Is a couple of gigs or mbs going to make a huge difference? The phone is well built, good screen, good battery life, and BEASTLY CPU.
We now have dropbox, box, and google drive for storage. The cloud storage is the future of mobile tech.
Since you are here, I assume you are planning on rooting the device? So again...is it really going to make a difference?

Cloud storage is great unless you have a capped data plan, which has recently become the reality of mobile tech. So, yeah, a few GB makes a huge difference to quite a few people.

Really? I wonder which industry you work in to make that statement. Do you really see yourself with a 2GB mobile and 100GB cloud space. Cloud is good but you have to understand the line between local storage with cloud storage. We spent last decade creating faster and faster local storage options (RAM/sd card/hard drives) and if you dont understand that line its like going back to 90's.
trudat !
Luckily for some of us, there is wifi hotspots most places we go. And I have BT Openzone included included in my deal (2gb worth)
so i doubt ill use all my data
Hi Friends,
I want to buy a new phone but i am confused between xperia s and samsung galaxy s2. I feel that the only downside in xperia s is the 32 GB fixed memory.
Is 32 GB really enough? I have also heard that only 25 GB is available for the user, why is it so? What's occupying the rest of the storage space? Is it the pre installed bloatware? Is there an easy way to get rid of it, I mean without rooting?
Another big question is what is the size of full HD videos taken by xperia s?
Please help......

The question is, is 32Gb enough for YOU ? Do you store music / video or stream ? I hardly use any of my internal 16Gb, but I do like having an external SD to load my music on to - I don't have to worry about it competing for space with apps, and I can pretty much put anything I want on there without having to pick and choose (I only have ~25Gb of music, so I could conceivably put it ALL on an SD card, even). But some people don't need that.
The OS and pre-loaded apps occupy the space that's already taken. It's like that with any OS - it's going to take up space.
As for the HD video question... I'd look up the bit rate and do some math.

Hi,
I was wondering if 3GB RAM version fine on 6PRO? I had Sony XA2 3GB version in the past and it seemed to be fine. Though I like Lot's of windows in my browser and jumping backwards and forwards between 5-7 apps. I don't play games. Use camera a lot. Thanks.
I think 3 GB is good enough to you.
Redmi 4 Prime for about 2 years with 32GB was ok
now 2 years later I got RN6pro with 32GB, no need for more,
for your preferences it is ok too, I believe
Thanks : ) Do apps refresh a lot on the phone? One thing I hate mroe than anything to have content on the ap pto be refresh everytime I come back to it.
but most of the apps are google playstore apps ?
that has nothing to do with phone roms,
I don't use many Xiaomi apps
The one I am intending to buy is UK version form local shop. So, yes it's google store. And some bloatware on top. Unfortunately I didn't mod phones.
I feel paying a bit more for 64gb and 4gb is a reasonable choice
