No stock options for you there... you'll have to use a custom ROM with ultra smooth rosie tweak to eliminate 3D
As I know there is no turning back when you unlock your device

Hi there, are you missing the sense interface?
it all depends how you got to CM7 in the first place, which I'm guessing required:
1. S-OFF + custom recovery
2. Root
3. Installed custom rom
To go back you need to do this:
1. Download the *stock* rom RUU files for your phone. This allows you to get the phone back to its original stock form.
See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002506
2. Change the bootloader. This allows the RUU to overwrite it with the stock bootloader and get it back to S-ON. ENG HBoot is a good one that allows overwriting.
See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113820
3. Once you've changed the bootloader, flash the stock RUU over it, which should automatically overwrite the bootloader, S-OFF, recovery and ROM.

First I dont know if this would be the apporiate section to do a request..
Since HTC Desire HD 3.06.405.1 has been leaked I wanna request if anyone is willing and able to root it and convert it to clockwork flashable format, so we can use the STOCK version of this Rom.
The Rom is floating around on the nets, but if you cannot locate it then PM me and I will send you the download link.
Thanks in Advance!

If you need any help let me know
since there have been a few topics with the link and those got closed and deleted i dont think itll be appreciated if you post that rooted rom here
Hi guys!
I've have downloaded the ROM in object (as a PD98IMG.zip, the link was in the closed thread) and I want to flash it...
I've an unrooted desire hd with official 2.3.3 (2.50.405.2) Rom installed.
How I can flash this one? Have I just to put that zip in SD root and reboot? Someone else have tried the update?
Thanks in advance.

So I did it..
I will test the rooted stock rom this evening, and post if everything is working.
Let me know
I currently installed Android Revolution HD 6.1.0 and replaced the app & framework folder with the original ones from the Stock rom...
But pure root would be best
Wait so HTC made an official sense 3 for desire hd?! pricks didnt do it for Z's :'(

Crap.. I tryed to flash the rooted stock rom, the flash process seems to run fine without errors.
But it hangs on htc splash screen...
I noticed a rom tag which says: GRI 3.5 user-debugging
So I think this isn't a full stable/final release yet
Its just base....

Hi.
As the topic says - I'm currently running the Revolution HD ROM. But I would like to go back to stock - cause I'd maybe like to sell it soon (If I don't get better batteritime!!!). My phone can't last a day at work !
So - I've found the Pyramid ROM list - But how do I find one that fits a HTC Sensation (Denmark)???
Any help would be appreciated
Do a search for "htc sensation ruu" in google and you will see the diffrent RUU you can flash. I can't post links yet.
GREAT! Found some - but can i somehow assure that 1 actually fits my model?
The "shipped" ones - are they made by HTC. Will I still have the oppotunity to update when ICS i coming?
How to check my Stock Rom Version
I have the same question, my unit is HTC Sensation XE Z715E, Made in Taiwan, South East Asian Version, how do I know which stock rom version should I download for this unit from this site?

Will this work with my HTC Sensation XE Z715E? Is this the original stock rom for XE with beats audio ?
RUU_Pyramid_hTC_Asia_TW_1.35.709.1_Radio_10.43a.9007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_198188_signed
I've been seeing some asian version with WWE, and some with LE, what kind of edition are those two?
So far so good! I've downloaded the RUU - but I keep getting USB connection error when trying to flash .exe file! I've triede several times - and without antivirus and firewall activated - still same error!
Any clues?
FOUND OUT! Done in FASTBOOT mode - No problems discovered there
Back on stock ROM - Lets see how long the battery lasts here
Any ideas of the best custom ROM regarding battery time?

Hi micjensen,
U wer able to unroot your sensation and restore to stock rom? Maybe you could teach me how? What procedure did u use?
I was on Mike's Revolution HD.
So I found the latest stock RUU - RUU_PYRAMID_ICS_HTC_Europe_3.12.401.2.
Gave som trouble trying to install the .exe file through Windows - så I started in Fastboot mode, then executed the .exe file, and there it was
Stock Ice Cream Sandwich!.......... BUT S-ON, and revolutionary cant remove the HBOOT 1.23!!!

Did you do Super CID before flashing the said stock rom? or no more?
So you just Plug HTC Sensation to the PC via usb cable in charging mode right? then double click the RUU.exe File, run through windows?
Stock means original rom shipped by htc right? I'm just wonderin where u got stock Ice cream Sandwich, From what I read it hasnt been officially released by htc yet right? For sensation
No SuperCID before.
I couldn't make it work with the phone in charging mode. So I had to do it in FASTBOOT mode.
This is the full filename:
RUU_PYRAMID_ICS_HTC_Europe_3.12.401.2_Radio_11.65.3504.00U_11.19.3504.29_2_test_233440
I think its maybe a testleak. What ROM do you use now?
currently using android revolution hd 3.6.9 , planning to return to stock rom once I fully understand the procedure...

GREAT ROM!
Actually I'm a little disappointed regarding this stock RUU. The Revolution ROM was much more smooth.
Yesterday I tried to go for the Revolution 6.0.2 ROM - but I cant! In the fast boot option the phone fails when pressing "Recovery" (you know, where to press "install from SD card")......
Hi
I'm very new to this custom rom thing, but not a complete noob...
I am curious if there are any custom roms that will work on stock firmware/kernel...?
I flashed Clockwork recovery and are using that at the moment
So far i have tried a lot of roms (mostly ICS ones) and the one ones working so far is one of the MIUI roms which i am using at the moment, but it laggs a fair bit.
I unlocked via HTC Dev tool and thus have a weird bootloader at the moment. Will flashing firmware remove this? will i be able to restore the original firmware from a backup i have already made?
Picture shows my current status.
Any suggestions for roms would be helpful.
Thanks
You are still s-on you need s-off to get root access. Get that one first. Then energy sense 3.5 is great stable Rom wich has stock kernal.

+1 on the S-OFF. When you have it and rooted and custom recovery, make sure you do a Nandroid backup ASAP and keep it safe.
I liked CM7, then again I like AOSP ROMs in general. I was dual running CM7 (GB) and Virtuous Inquisition (ICS) on 1.23.0000 HBOOT for a while. Now gone over to 1.27.1100.

Sorry for noob question, but i've tried many things to get S-off, (incuding revolutionary.io) but nothing seems to work. Is there any way to get rid of the HTC unlocking thing and flash something else?

get the matching rom from this thread
here
the matching rom would be
RUU_Pyramid_HTC_<country/carrier>_<firmware version>_Radio_<radio>_release_<xxxx>_signed
EDIT:
oops sorry you want to know which firmware supports gingerbread right?
brief description of each firmware:
3.32 Unlocked is the latest/stable release ICS 4.0.3 FW for Sensation (sense 3.6 Version) that has the Unlocked bootloader (posted by Mike1986)
3.30 Unlocked is ICS 4.0.3 FW for Sensation (sense 3.6 Version) that has the Unlocked bootloader (posted by Mike1986)
3.24 Unlocked is ICS 4.0.3 FW for Sensation (sense 3.6 Version) that has the Unlocked bootloader (posted by Mike1986)
3.12 is ICS 4.0.3 FW before that (Sense 3.5 Version)
1.17 This is the original Revolutionary 1.17.1111 Firmware with a completed Gingerbread Firmware v 1.45 package (Radio 10.14.9035.01_M)
Also the firmware thread
fclick here for firmwares
Hm i tried it but when i was on gingerbread and wanted to update with a RUU to a clean stock rom, EVERY RUU i tried was "Wrong" and wasnt working...
So i keept the stock ics rom, without superuser and s-off, but 4ext is still there....
so i think i have to keep it, it should "damage" my warranty , or am i wrong ?

Why would you do that, that is a horrible idea just put a ROM you like on if you want stock then use ARHD don't go to stock dude you will regret it and it's hard to get back I will think less of you if you continue this path

The easiest way is to download the latest RUU from the Shipped Rom thread. Run this and you will be stock again. You will still be S-OFF, so in the future you can still flash custom roms if you want.
