Having some difficulty with the typing. After I restart my mobile i9003, input while typing became less responsive that it was before restart. Has anyone facing the same problem??
Have you tried to restart your phone again? It worked for me once.

You have a swype keypad already built in it right? for me it is better than touchpal.
have you deodexed your phone and flashed a theme? if you do that may be the cause. i had experienced that prob after flashing a theme. it gets responsive after a normal reboot but get some prob an hour after rebooting.

When im typing on my phone, it usually works fine for a little then starts to lag and some keys i press dont work... i dont know if this is a problem with the touchscreen or the software. if i lock the phone and unlock it, usually it will work. so im hoping it isnt the keyboard. is there a solution for this?

I have noticed this bug on sense 2.1 roms. If you rotate the screen it will switch keyboards and fix it and you can just rotate it back. I have never experienced this on 3.0 and higher sense roms. I think its just a bug on 2.1.
Also it has been a reported bug on CM7 roms, I believe its CM7 roms or maybe older versions too. There is no current fix. Some users just use a keyboard from the market like swiftkey or something like that. Its an app you have to pay for, but seems to get rid of the issue.
I ran into a similar issue last night when I was typing a post on another forum. My keyboard lagged greatly and then just stop responding for a few seconds. However it seemed to only happen when I was in my browser typing on the forum page. It was happening on Dolphin Browser and the stock browser. I tested it with three different keyboards (Swiftkey X, Gingerbread Keyboard, and stock Sense keyboard). All lagged. Restarting didn't resolve. The lag did not happen with other apps like GO SMS, Twitter, or Facebook. Nor did it happen on a couple other websites I tested on. I noticed when I turned off the vibration, or lowered the vibrate time, the lag lessened. I'm thinking it's an issue with memory or processing speed, but I have no idea how I would test or resolve something like that.
I'm running ARHD 6.1.5, only slightly OC'd.
Now that I think about it. It sounds like all 2.3.3 based roms have this bug, aosp or sense.
I found home screen text appears blurred , feels like home screen is crashed , after playing high graphic games like real racing 3, virtual tennis challenge. Is anyone facing the same issue ? Is there any solution to fix it? Looking forward to answers. Thanks in advance

I am also facing the same issue. The home screen turns totally black after some gaming or sometimes after some apps. Don't know what to do or how to solve the problem. Also can not open the service menu by *#*#636#*#* code, it does not work. When I put the code, just nothing happens, the dial pad remains same. What about your device?
Waiting for next update, hope they fix this graphics issues ASAP.

Actually what does this service code do, sry i have no idea. But i tried this code i am not getting anything... And regarding graphic issue, i could able to fix only after restarting... Also sometimes i tried fixing by quiting the game and wait sometimes and then use homescreen menus. But the latter is not working all times...

I'm pretty sure this bug is Stock Launcher specific - I've had it using the Stock launcher, never using Apex.

The code you used is incorrect.
Correct code is *#*#4636#*#*

Sorry that was typing mistake. I enter the code *#*#4636#*#* but nothing happens. Any suggestions? Actually no codes work on my device. I am really worried about that.
This is weird, I have no clue what could cause this. I am not so experienced on this phone as well.
Hi Guys.
Greetings from Ireland. I have an Xperia Z3 D6603. Its running stock Andriod L 5.0.2 with Apex launcher instead of Xperia home. Its a great phone and besides some small issues I love it. The main issue however is that it randomly stops vibrating which can be quite irritating. It started acting up about a month ago and I presumed it must have been an app causing the phone to misbehave, however when I boot the phone into safe mode the same occurs. Usually from boot up it will work for about 10 key presses, for eg the home button pressed multiple times and then it stops working. Then after a few minutes it will kick back in. This is most noticeable when typing and is annoying. Its like the motor gets tired and cuts out if that's even possible? Anyone else had a similar issue? I searched but couldn't find any applicable information.
Thanks in advance,Barry

the lag could be from the launcher and its eating the cpu and thus when typing its slow to respond to the touches, have you tried it with the stock launcher?

Hi Richy. Yeah I booted into safe mode and the same occurs. I thought it was the launcher or a third party app but in safe mode if I repeatedly tap the home key for 10 times the vibration disappears. Really has me confused, I don't see how it could be hardware when the motor actually does work when it wants to?

I have EXACTLY the same problem. It is super irritating and I have the feeling too that it's a software problem. Maybe something that the previous software update is causing. It even just happened when I typed this. Maybe someone has a clue?
Not sure I've seen this before. I'm fully stock with an unlocked bootloader and when writing an email or a post of any lenght, my keyboard begins to slow down to a crawl and is almost unresponsive at times. Anyone has similar experience or how can I solve this problem.
I've had this problem for a while now, completely stock through all of the point releases. Restarting helps for a little bit. Now I swipe everything I type to cut down on the lag. I rarely turn my phone sideways to type anymore. That's one way to fix it, lol.
Only seen this happening since the last Google Keyboard update, myself. A reboot fixed it up though.
Hello.

I have the same issue. And I don't know how to solve it. Except without gestures.
I have full screen gestures enabled and no issues with swiftkey(beta). On what rom are you? I tested it with chinese stable and xiaomi.eu

Doesn't matter if I push the letters or just swipe, no lag at all. Maybe you can test the swiftkey beta app or disable spellchecking in input settings
Hello again
If I disable de voice comand, the problem persist.
I downloaded the beta and, the problem is the dame.
I Dont understand. If I disable the full screen mode, its solve the problem
Im not alone with this problem

Please, tell me what exactly you have done.
this not solved all the problem but minimize it for me
I launch de app of swiftkey, after this i enter in multitask screen. Keep pushing the app of swiftkey and apears a lock (if the lock is close, the app allways in background)
After this the lag reduces a lot

Its done before all the "tricks"
I've noticed this too

I'm using this phone since three days ago and I immediately noticed this issue, and it is specially annoying when I try to use swipe writing. I suspected that occurs because the system doesn't know if your are trying to write using the keys located at the edges of the screen like q, p, etc. or just using gestures. In consequence I tried to adapt the keyboard using the one hand feature (Google keyboard) and putting it in the center of the screen and it worked, the lag disappear. I'm attaching a screenshot because my English sucks. I hope you can see this way what I did.
I tried turning on 'Show virtual keyboard' in Settings > Languages & input > Physical keyboard, and it seems much better for me now.

I have no idea what this does, nor why it solves the problem. But it's all good for me now. Thanks!
I have the same problem. It seems that there are many of us who have this problem. I hope that in MIUI 10 they solve it ... I can not find any solution, just turn off Fullscreen mode in my RM5

I have already reported to MIUI team but while they do something about it, i've installed Edge Gestures to replace full screen mode, to hide navbar i've installed Navigation Gestures and finally AutoNotification for hidding apps in background notification. I have lost gestures animations but works perfect and the only issue it's volume bar in landscape like the image attached.
This is a nightmare and makes the device horrible to use.
I reported it to MIUI team weeks ago. The best solution for now is disable vibration on keypress within Google Keyboard, which makes it way less noticeable.
I'm using miui 10 weekly on eu roms, the problem is still there...
I'm on xiaomi.eu 8.8.3 and it seems like it has been solved through software update. I no longer have the issue testing in sketch app, or using any keyboard with full screen gestures.
