Just use a micro fiber cloth... don't spray **** on it. Most I did is wipe a really really damp towel on it after my shower

I have ghost armor on mine, and there are like no smudges or fingerprints.

But what if I did put windex? Just to know for later

Yup that's what I do if I get some smudges on the screen. I wouldn't ever spray it directly on the phone itself, that just sounds like a bad idea.

i use a small bottle of monster screen clean and spray the air like twice, wave phone through mist and then wipe with microfiber, never had problems.
protip: when applying screen protectors, spray the air above and around where you're working with water(or i just use my screen clean)..it knocks the dust particles down and reduces the chance of random **** being under your fresh protector.
I bought the Windex electronic wipes for TV, computers, smartphones, etc

It will do the job! I have yet to drop a phone when it's in an otterbox. Now take it out and I swear I wind up dropping it, then kicking it across the floor. I just want to be able to keep it on my side. I plan on getting a siedo case later. If this holds up, may not need to.

19 something VZW case after 25% 16 something .
37.50 after 25% off otterbox case let me know how many bounces u got out of case.
I thought about doing that but money tight a couple good drops and case toast

Actually I did the cut out on that same tpu cover you got. The case is still pretty sturdy. Waste high drop no problem. The rubber is taking the beating. All what you prefer though. And if ya mess up otterbox will send you a new one if you tell them the clips holding it together broke. Just s suggestion though.

nice ingenuity. you could have heated the edges of the plastic and pressed the cover over the battery to keep the strength and protection too.

Just so everyone knows! I just drop kicked my tb across the room cuz I couldn't make a call! Still works like new. Service went down and I thought my tb took a dump. I love this phone!!!
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda premium
Uh you could all save yourself alot of time and money and just get the Trident Electra case. I have literally drop kicked my phone just to show a friend of mine how good this case is. And it comes with an extended battery so you will have another.
Just curious....what did you use to cut them? I'm thinking of using a coping saw, but wish I still had my dremel.
Ah I heated up a flat blade screwdriver with a bic lighter soldering iron I had was not heating up
Then I cut the screwed up plastic slag with side cutters

Another thread here, talks about this case scratching the phone, specifically the outer metal frame.
see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129485
I've used it for months now and i have no scratches, its lined with felt stuff, so unless you rub sand in there, i don't think it can scratch it...
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk
I'm REALLLLLLY looking into getting this case for my G2x... Only thing that worries me is scratches. If I get it, I might end up modifying the inside of the case. Maybe make it more impact resistant?
Hey guys so I scuffed my Nexus's frame today :/ but I already ordered a new one. I'm thinking about painting the new one a rustoleum black though is there some kind of like spray on adhesive rubber? Or some really thin protectant I could spray on it to?

I love this phone, I have had it since launch, but I have a problem, the grooves on the sides of the phone that are supposed to look like book pages get dirt trapped inside, and I can't seem to clean it with Normal cloth or even a qtip.
I was hoping someone here found a good method. Please help!

Try some rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.
Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
Compressed air can? Rubbing alcohol is ok, but no too much as it could corrode the adhesive that keeps the front in place

Yeah, or alcohol on a Q-Tip might be better, and provide more precise control.

Yeah I have. I used a cotton ball and added just a bit of rubbing alcohol then squeezed it over the sink to remove the excess liquid. You just want just enough clean it and not have it drip off. Then once clean I wipe with a towel to dry. Then put a case on your phone. Lol

Toothbrush + rubbing alcohol -- VERY effective for this kind of task.
Try a toothpick, it works great for me.

I'm trying to figure out how to remove all the dust and micro lint from between bezel and screen.
You managed to get dirt in there instead of in between the bezel and the screen?
I like to use "Silly Putty" to clean my stuff.
http://www.cyberclean.com.au
This is the Australian website but available in other countries. It really works great for this kind of thing.
Tried it no luck, its DEEP in the grooves, the grooves are so thin it seems like ill need a sewing needle or something.
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app
Toothbrush and ethanol. Toothbrush hairs are thinner than a needle.

U can try hydrogen peroxide available in pharmacy shop, its remove dirts deep inside, once dirts comes out clean with cloth.

a very fine paint brush will do the job, that what i use get all the bits out of the side.
I tried paper, peroxide and paint brush nothing worked for me, problem i have its not dust its some sort of grease.
Tried needle but its scratching chrome.
Any suggestions?
