Oh yea I purchased it on Amazon.. eBay was alittle more!

I prefer the Trident Aegis over all of them. More protection and more stylish imo

Never heard of that one ill look it up..

Another thread here, talks about this case scratching the phone, specifically the outer metal frame.
see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129485

I've used it for months now and i have no scratches, its lined with felt stuff, so unless you rub sand in there, i don't think it can scratch it...

I'm REALLLLLLY looking into getting this case for my G2x... Only thing that worries me is scratches. If I get it, I might end up modifying the inside of the case. Maybe make it more impact resistant?

It will do the job! I have yet to drop a phone when it's in an otterbox. Now take it out and I swear I wind up dropping it, then kicking it across the floor. I just want to be able to keep it on my side. I plan on getting a siedo case later. If this holds up, may not need to.

I thought about doing that but money tight a couple good drops and case toast

Actually I did the cut out on that same tpu cover you got. The case is still pretty sturdy. Waste high drop no problem. The rubber is taking the beating. All what you prefer though. And if ya mess up otterbox will send you a new one if you tell them the clips holding it together broke. Just s suggestion though.

nice ingenuity. you could have heated the edges of the plastic and pressed the cover over the battery to keep the strength and protection too.

Just so everyone knows! I just drop kicked my tb across the room cuz I couldn't make a call! Still works like new. Service went down and I thought my tb took a dump. I love this phone!!!

Uh you could all save yourself alot of time and money and just get the Trident Electra case. I have literally drop kicked my phone just to show a friend of mine how good this case is. And it comes with an extended battery so you will have another.
Just curious....what did you use to cut them? I'm thinking of using a coping saw, but wish I still had my dremel.
Ah I heated up a flat blade screwdriver with a bic lighter soldering iron I had was not heating up
Then I cut the screwed up plastic slag with side cutters

The Otterbox Commuter series is great on this phone. It offers great protection and it actually makes the phone feel nice in your hand.
otterbox is the way to go. I got the standard bodyglove from sprints site and its ok but cheap plastic.
+1 Otterbox

Those are really the only two you should consider because all the cheap ones will scratch the hell out of you keyboard keys.

Metal case/bumper

Has anyone out there found any metal cases or bumpers made for the At&t Skyrocket? Love to know what maybe out there because Google hasn't been much help so far. Thanks!
I would like to find a bumper also, I hate the bulk of a case, but I would like to have some protection from a drop
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA App
Well look at this one even less bulk then a bumper case plus more protection. And other benefit it makes your phone a real looker. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/view...d=VIDESC&index=3&nav=WATCHING&nid=32161730034

I just bought this case. It is great. It is probably the most protective case out right now. My only issue is it is a bit large and is a pain to slide in and out of your pocket.
But I'm no longer afraid of shattering my fragile phone.
Also the case makes it a bit hard to pull down the notification bar.
I combined it will a full body best skin ever and I'm positive my phone will look brand new a year from now when I sell it. Also the skin feels very natural, unlike invisishield

New ballistic every1 case

Ballistic has a new all in one case with kickstand, built in screen protector, holster, and still pretty slim. Looks like it's got good reviews too.

Anyone tried this yet? I'm currently using the UAG navigator case but have been thinking about switching to this.
Just ordered one from thecellguru.com for 28.00. Thought I'd give it a try.

Just received my Every1 case. Here's my take on it so far.
Pros : Feels good in hand and protects the phone very well.
Cons : Hate the built in screen protector. It's far from clear. It gives it an unsharp view of your screen. Almost holographic. Built in kickstand pops off easy but thankfully it snaps back in.
The belt clip is heavy duty but swivel is located closer to top unlike the otter box which is located in the middle. This is awkward when setting it horizontal with your belt.
Due to the way it's made I'm not sure if removing the built in screen protector would be an option. Back of case is high gloss and possibly would scratch easy over time.
