that would be nice to have.since i have Evo 3D not it would be a worthy upgrade
I would like a 2mm thick phone with a 5.7" screen, there is no speaker or earphone to be seen as it is located inside the phone. There are no buttons whatsoever on the phone...the screen is turned on by creating a circle on the screen or a user defined input, the power button exists on the top right of the screen, this is activated by holding finger/thumb there for 3 seconds as constant heat activates the power menu and switches phone on
The phone is ultra flexible and finished with a clear film of kevlar particles bound together created by fusion, the phone has 8 cores operating at 3.7GHz each, which are cooled by 3 mini fans each that are made of ultra light and strong material encased in ultra heat conductive super mini sinks that pull away heat at incredible proportions, the phone has 2 nano batteries that last upto 3 days at full use. The GPU is a super quick 6GB memory based device.
The screen has 3200 by 4800 pixels, with full 3D and HD, incorporating nano sized LEDS. It supports a 21Mega pixel camera. The internal memory has a slot that can be upgrades to 2 tera bytes. The phone has HDMI, charging point, ear jack, super mini tubular USB all in one port.
However...with all that, the phone lacks one thing and that is there is no bluetooth support.
A bit realistically: Nokia N9 with Android
Unrealistically:
Hexacore 2 GHz Exynox CPU
3 GB of RAM
A 4.3 inch SuperAMOLED+ with a QFHD resolution (3840 x 2160)
"Nexus" phone
10000 mAh battery
Galaxy SII thickness (maybe a bit thicker)
The thing that I would like to see most in a phone is a battery which can be recharged while using the phone. Not solar panels (sun is not always present), but a device that transforms finger pressure/heat into electical energy...

What about something that some watches use, almost like a dynamo inside the device that charges the battery while you're moving the phone?

Totally agree
No Offence but do you guys actually understand what the phrase "Complete flight of fantasy" means??
"completely unrealistic" mean just that, the phones most of you guys are suggesting already almost exist !!!!!!
You guys need to dream a little more with the CRAZY brakes OFF!!!!!
Hold onto your expectations!!!!!!!
My FANTASY PHONE is a sub-dermal cranial mounted (It fits inside the skull in the bone, no one will lose this mofo ) device using quantum entanglement to transmit and receive data, the back bone of the system is a quantum processor arrayed neural net system. Using weird characteristic of quantum interaction to essentially form a network of CPUs each in an alternative universe all acting as one multicore CPU, theoretically delivering unlimited processing power on demand.
RAM and Storage ........ pick a 3 figure number and add terabyte to the end.
Ocular display via glasses or a dedicated 'data contact lens'.
Mandible mounted mic, full voice control input and output.
Cranial mounted bone conducting headphones (Cyber-homeboi still needz ta rock da bass innit )
Oh yeah and since we are talking bat**** fantasy with the crazy brakes TFO I would probably, have a fully sense VR system built into it, why game when you have free time when you could just explore an entire other universe.
etc, etc, etc

i mean, in fact, with a galaxy s 1 or an iphone3gs or 4, you're absolutely done in everyday life. what should we ask or want more?
definitly want more, i dont know why...
some people just feels great with the last cell-phone, sometimes without a look on cost vs the real benefits
i bought my S2 at the second day without take a look on price, but i wont do it again because cell phones are suffering high devaluation on short time. I prefer now wait a couple months before get another

I would think the most pressing thing to update from the S2 would be the screen's lowly resolution. Comparing it to something like a Galaxy Nexus or Note you can certainly notice the rather low DPI of the S2.
480x800 used to be called HD for the past 5+ years
just only this year when the Note and Galaxy Nexus made its debut they re-branded 1280x800 as the new HD or more like Super HD
so 480x800 is by no means "low" dpi / resolution, it has been the industry HD standard for the longest time

So what does that have to do with user experience which is what I was referring to?
If a couple of months takes samsung to finish their SoC with A15 cores and a latest power vr or Mali, then by all means go ahead.

I agree with you here. If they throw in a lot of new stuff for the S3, not too sure if a normal batt capacity can withstand all the awesomeness.
To be fair, I hope samsung give us a big (good) surprise with the S3 and dont do something like apple did with the 4s. Tbh, I would still highly recommend the S2 since it has all the dev support out there now, and anyone interested in customizing it easily can whereas the S3 will probably take a good few months until devs get to grip with it.
Oh yeah

battery life- just got 25hours normally use with WIFI/ data on continuously.GPS seems slow like all chinese phones. 6 inch screen but soft buttons seem to takes up too much room really although you can hide them.Clear speakers. Will continue to post as I test
Recharge 2 hours and 15 minutes on stock charger
Antutu reports 27253 - although with th recent relevations of manufacturers tweeking Antutu I wouldn't be suprised if this is inaccurate. As rear camera is reported as 18.2 mp!

Yes ill post it soon
can report battery life seems to have improved, now at 50% when at this point it had run out. Also GPS is much better (after initial slow start) than my Cubot A6589 or my wifes M6589.
Picks up wifi straight away no issues.
have also noticed that this model supports wifi updates. Hopefully this mean no more messing about with SP tools etc.Still deciding weather to root yet,
I can confirm

Fake T200? now there is a thing...chinese manufacturers faking chinese phones! Mind you Thl is very popular in china with apparently over 300 stores.
Got mine from Thl: www.thlmobilestore.com
I have also used Geekbuying (geekbuying.com) as well, never had a problem with what they have sold me, sites a bit inaccurate though (fake Antutu screen shots etc) but thats the norm for chinese sites in my experience, so you have to do your research.

Suggest the T100 then basically the same except 5 inch screen.
Benchmark 41.8 in Epic Citadel at 1920x1080 performance level = "High Quality"

I am also in this website to buy THL T100S.
I received the ThL T200 a few days ago and I have been using it as my main phone. The T200 is a pleasure to use. It has a six inch screen and coming from my previous cubot A6589 (5.7 inch) it does seem much bigger in the hand. however I did own a N9776 and of course I could be getting used to big phones. i'm getting on a bit in years, and I find that smaller screens seem too small for me without my reading glasses!
The design of the T200 follows a common design format for Chinese phones with its black or white back cover and crome trim. The left and right boarder is about 3 mm wide with the usual wider top and bottom boarders.Ear phone jack and micro USB is unusually set into the top edge, In most phones the bottom boader contains the home button etc, but the T200 follows a tablet layout with soft keys taking up the bottom of the screen. You can hide it though so you can free up real estate on the main screen.Power button is on the left with the volume rocker on the right of the phone. The top boarde contains the sensors as usual with a small red LED notification light which illuminates on messgaes, missed calls etc and when requiring or when being charged. chaging to green when sufficient battery power is there.Like the T100S when the disply is off the display blends with surrounding bezels.
The display is a very good 1930 x 1080 full HD resolution. Colour seems good as is brightness of the display. Like the T100S it has a density of 441 pixels per inch, so the screen is sharp and clear. Its not the best Ive seen but at this price it seems a bargin.
The MTK6592 is an octo-core A7 at 1.7 Ghz which certainly moves along at a good pace. I got over 27000 on Antutu although with the recent issues with manufacturers either doctoring read outs or making the OS recognise when Antutu is running, this might be a little misleading but it is certainly in line with other scores Ive seen out there.
For Epic Citadel, the T200 consistently managed 41.8 frames per second (fps) on the High Quality setting. its also quite good considering the GPU is the Mali-450 which isn't the best out there but again I feel one has to take into account the price difference.
I haven't tested the CPU yet but Gary Sims on android Authority has tested the T100S
http://www.androidauthority.com/octa-core-thl-t100s-review-327578/
The battery is a 2500 mAh which for me has given about 1 day 12 hours of normal use (WIFI and data continuously on, phones, bit of film watching and games)so far although it might need some more bedding in. Like the T100S it has a option to limit CPU activity to lengthen battery life. tried both (one charge with it on and one off) and it doesn't seem to make much difference.
2GB RAM + 32GB ROM (translates as 5.77GB internal storage and 22.07GB phone storage
The camera is a 13 mp back camera and the front is 8 mp. Its good but I have seen better, but again you get what you pay for and for general use both cameras are more than adequate.
The phone has OTG which works straight out of the box mounting the drive instantaneously. It also has NFC I haven;t tested this but if it is like its twin the T100S then it should work well.
Overall then the THL T200 is a very good phone in my opinion for the price. It has its weak points but considering the price differential I feel its worthy of consideration.
Thanks for the review. I am still deciding whether to get this phone or Zopo 990+
Nice review.I am also considering the Zopo 990+ because I Would like to have 3G:WCDMA900/1900/2100MHz
The carrier(in Sweden) I have,use both 900Mhz and 2100Mhz I haven`t found any Thl T200 with 3GWCDMA 900/1900/2100MHz
The Zopo 990+ for Us $339.99 (This has 3G:WCDMA900/1900/2100MHz)
The Thl T200 for Us $304,99
Both at dhgate.

Yes Im in the UK so could go for the slightly cheaper option
I got mine in today, been playing around a bit, very nice new toy, I'm impressed with the performance so far.
For those who are interested: It seems to have a form of CWM recovery mode, just keep volume-up pressed while switching the phone on. The power button works as a back button, the vol-up as the 'confirm' button and the vol-down scrolls the menu.
Options available are:
Reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from sdcard
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
backup user data
restore user data

yes found that. Got a bit confused on how it worked until i realised the + button selects.
Now that the rumors of Nexus devices have gone completely insane and terribly misleading I have thought about what I would like to see in a Nexus phone. Since Nexus devices are designed to be developer devices we have to keep in mind that hardware is the only thing you can really look at. Absolutely stock Android with no frills is our OS obviously. What kind of hardware should Google be encouraging development for? What manufacturer and what kind of specs would you want.
I'd like to see Motorola get a shot at the Nexus line. My bet is it would be called the Nexus X or the Moto Nexus.
Since its a Nexus device it has to be built completely open source. I'd like to see Moto open the X8 System up to allow developers to utilize the motion core and listening core. Anybody who has used a Moto X will agree that Active Display is probably the best feature ever. Unfortunately, it might fall outside the scope of Nexus to have this chipset in the phone as it is Motorola's silicon. It would likely have to be built on the Qualcomm chipset which tries to implement listening but fails miserably thus far. Basically I would love to see a Nexus device that is contextually aware of its surroundings without draining battery. Contextual awareness is the new wave in tech, allowing Devs to play around with that would be great.
Other Specs:
-5" Screen (at most) - I don't want a huge phone, that's why I have a tablet
-All day battery life - for the power user though because nobody else buys Nexus phones
-Rounded back
-Camera can be average, I don't care too much
This is based on the assumption that Nexus isn't dead so don't bring up Android Silver.
For me, I want a phone, not a flipping TV
- 4.5 Inch max. Now that screen sizes are getting close to tab/phablets, whats going to fill in the 'smaller' phone sizes?
- I know it wont happen but SD Card slot
- Aluminum body, probably the number one reason why HTC made a comeback
- Spec wise, I dont think it matters anymore to have the best CPU, or RAM
For me,I would love a bigger screen to 5",Not 4.9"....
4.5"-5" Screen,Liked nexus 4 on big screen with beautiful UI
SD card slot with App2SD(Why not google?)
3000+maH Battery
Snapdragon 400/S4 Pro(Quad Core)(Please no MTK.)S800 is too powerful.
LTE but...Certificated??
Note function?
Also most important,Cheaper(lol)
Assuming we're talking about the Nexus 6...
Screen no bigger than 5".
OIS 13mp camera or 16mp+ w/o OIS.
Bigass battery.
MicroSD slot, or storage option of 64gb (or even 128gb).
I'm sure the other specs will be up to snuff, so I won't wish and want with those.

N6 5.5 screen with little bezel works for me...
5" 1080p display
Snapdragon 801
3gb ram
3000mah battery (removable)
16mp OIS camera
Micro sd up to 128gb
This would be a perfect nexus phone in my opinion
Ok It should be like the following :-
1- 5" to 5.5" Super AMOLED screen with the ability to turn it to Black & White mode for Ultra power saving.
2- Polycarbonate like the Nokia Lumia's design or any other type of good and high quality plastic.
3- more than 3000 mAh battery, at least 3500 mAh, with removable back cover and battery, I think that also it better and more secure in Airports and in general.
4- High quality camera with the ability of manual controls.
5- Front facing speakers (small one's for more compact size) like in HTC One M8.
6- 64-bit hardware, 4 GB Ram, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or above, 128 GB internal storage.
I think that phone will be enough for what I'm looking in 2014/2015 smartphone .
5 inch full HD screen
Snapdragon 805
8 MP UltraPixel camera
3 GB of RAM
Android L
Fingeprint scanner
Aluminium built body
3000 MaH battery minimum
IR blaster
