Hi All, I run a new start project called ROAMOBI and I am looking for a person who can create CAB files on a mobile SIM card? I understand this is quite clunky and laborious work but we have a great application? I can give you remote access to equipment for testing your work?

Hello all,
I have a little query regarding code signing cab files to allow roll out on the Windows Mobile 5.1 platform. I cannot add my cab files to the ExtROM because they have to be signed, i can autorun them from a memory card and just select ignore on the "Not signed" popup that appears. If u plonk a cab though our autorun into the windows\startup folder i get a message that flat refuses to install the cab file because it is not signed!!!
We are only a small company and would like to know the cheapest way to move forward on this, Symbian OS is looking tempting right now and although i would hate to change
Any advice would be great
maybe this ?

Its a shame that don't work from the ExtROM I will use it for my memory card Autorun workaround for now though, thanks for that. Does anyone have a good solution to the cab signing thing at all, even a cheap way of signing stuff, we are willing to pay but i have seen things like 10 signing events for 400 USD, thats a little over the top for us.
Hi guys!
Don't know if this is the right place to make a question, sorry if it isn't.
Well, I use Visual Studio 2008 to make some testing apps for my Opal (Viva).
I recently added to my solution a setup project. It works, it creates a cab and installs on my phone.
The only problem is that even if I choose my memory card as destination, my app always installs to phone memory.
Does anyone know how to configure property the setup project?
Thanks
CyberZeus_Viva
Solved, thanks anyway!
thanks for sharing
Hi there,
I have a project to do at work and I work with PDAs all day. My mission is to get the Windows Mobile emulator to be embedded onto a website.
I want to know if this is even possible before I start putting lots of energy into this.
Any help would be much appreciated.
There must be someone out there with some knowledge of this! Please!
Hi,
I am wondering how I could get dguitar running!
http://dguitar.sourceforge.net/en/index.html
It's the only software which is able to get gp3, gp4 Files from a Software called Guitar Pro to run on a PPC.
I tried to copy the whole stuff onto the SD-Card an started the dguitar.jar and the JBlend SW says something about not being able to extract the JAD ...
I would really appreciate some help, there are a few other people interested too.
There is already a Thread on xda for the Guitar Pro issue!

hello all,
for years i am a dedicated Windows Mobile kind of guy.
However, i recently had a change of heart -> just purchased LG Optimus 2X (Android 2.2)
First thing i've noticed - all my notes are not recognized!!
can someone please tell me a way to make them readable again? (editable is optional)
p.s. i know there are threads about this already, such as : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=779658 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=676858 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350076 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=639761 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=627519
and i assure you i've read them all; unfortunately none were useful, ergo i created my own thread
Me too, someone please tell me which program can convert *.PWI to AK Notepad's format
Bump to top, please help us, thank you.
I just purchased a Droid Charge, also all of my .pwi files are on my SD card but cannot open them, thank you.
I am in the same boat!
I have been a dedicated Windows mobile fan since 2000. I also have accumulated a lot of .pwi files. These are a mixture of recorded audio and text files.
The only way I think it currently can be done is by copying the *.pwi files to your PC and opening the text files in Word.
For Audio files, from trawling the web, I have found two options:
1. install the correct cab file in the attached zip on your WM phone and convert on your old phone.
2. View this link http://www.codingbeaver.com/myblog/index.php/2007/06/25/convert-pwi-file-to-mp3-file/
Option 2 is the only one available to me, as I no longer have a usable WM phone and I have all the .PWI files on my PC.
I used UltaEdit
As the guide states you need to delete all characters up to the word RIFF.
Then rename the file *.wav
At that point you can convert the fille in any format you wish.
I hope this helps?
