Port of HTC One X ROM - HTC Inspire 4G

I saw that the ROM of the HTC One X got leaked and then ported for the Sensation. Is the hardware of the Inspire capable of running the ROM from the One X? Is any dev going to, or is working on a port of the ROM? I would really like to see a ported ROM of the leak for the Inspire.

OK, I'm taking the hint. Does anyone know where I can find the leaked Endeavor RUU? I found a thread on porting Sense to Sense and will try to port it myself. I just can't find the download for the RUU. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you like cm then try absolution rom, its based on cm with some mods. Includeds TDJ's kernel which are always really good. I run 1.2hz speed on glacier on most roms and it seems to work well and not eat up the battery too fast.
Thanks man

Since you are new to HTC, I'd recommend one of the Sense 3.5 ROMS available. It will be a completely new experience for you.

I second TDJ's Kernel, Demonspeed v 12
I like CM7.1 but that is just me.
also, if you are gonna use tdj's kernal get some kind of UV control to extend battery life, I use Incredicontrol, and CM controls to Underclock to 902 and 122 using the Demonspeed governer.

Bricked kernel is just one type. There's no multiple versions, unless you go into old outdated ones. The newest one is usually the one to go for. If you want different kernels to try, there's bricked, SebastianFM or faux123 kernels. They're the most popular. Search them out yourself in the dev board an make your own judgement on what's best for your needs.

I have already ran 8 different faux kernels.I was just curious to any recommendations to some bricked kernels is all.But thanks for your help.

Are you wanting to over clock or under clock what is your goal?
Sent from my Sensation using xda premium
I want to overclock it.I want to overclock it to 1.5 and a bricked kernel that would overclock me to 1.782+ if at all possible.

Restore HTC One X to original factory settings!

Hi All,
I've been running the latest version of Viper for my HTC One X. I have to say, its quite a nice ROM. Unfortunately, it is not as stable as I would have hoped and I may be looking to sell my device. I was wondering what the easiest way to restore my One X to factory settings was with preferably keeping root. Any ideas?

Few questions:
boot loader unlocked?
Soff or Son?
Orignal phone carrier? rogers, att?
The easiest is just to flash one of the "stock but rooted" sense roms from the non original development section.
S-OFF if not already and flash one of the original roms for your device.

It's unlocked, s-off I believe and is on AT&T. Could you send me a link to the original ROM? Also, will it be able to see updates and whatnot? Like will it be just as good as it was coming from the factory?

Here arw your choices... Since you have s off you could flasha stock rooted Rom or you could ruu to the latest jb Rom and root again since you have s off
I'd like to RUU to the latest HTC One X software. How would I go about it? Links are appreciated

Link? You could port it if it's open source.
Edit: I see it's Sense 5 4.2. Our devs are working on something similar.

Nope. If you're talking about the recent Endeavor Sense 5 ROM which was built from official leak, nope.
