I have ARHD 6.2.1 on my Sensation. When i want to pair my device with other devices using Bluetooth, it fails everytime because it does not show the security code (so i can accept/reject it) and gives an error saying that the pairing process failed. I tried many many different devices and they all failed.
I should point out that i had this problem when i was on ARHD gingerbread version. So its not a problem with ICS. But i assume it is a problem with the kernel/firmware.
I have firmware 3.24 installed and tried radios 10.56 and the latest 11.xx radio that comes with ARHd 6.2.1.
Can someone pleaaaaaaaaase help me with this?

I have the same kernel (1.2 GHz) but BT doesn't work...Did u flash the T-mobile Sensation 4G script when flashing the rom?
This is the exact error that i get on sensation:
"Couldn't pair with Laptop because of an incorrect PIN or passkey."
But as i said it doesnt show me any passkeys or PIN!
Yes, ARHD 6.2.1 stock 1.2 GHz kernel, no Bravia engine and absolute no problem pairing with my car audio. But with stock GB can U pair ?

Yea stock GB worked fine but ARHD GB had the same bluetooth problem!
"With 6.2.x ROMs I strongly recommend flashing 11.68.3504.00U_11.21.3504.13_2 radio"- have U done this? This is from mike1986 post.
yea i have that one installed right now but no luck. i even tried 10.56 (which came with my stock rom and worked fine at that time) but still the problem exists.
I am trying to flash the first time kernel by Faux but mutilupload is down!
try to post this problem in mike1986's thread. Good luck in solving the problem.
I tried Insertcoin rom and i had the same problem!

I too am running ARHD 6.3.0 XE. I've had no issues yet when playing audio through my Blackberry bluetooth gateway (bt stereo adapter connected to my aux port) and having it connected through my car's handsfree setup at the same time.

hi, dunno if that may help but I had a similar issue with bluetooth. will pair at times with pc but wont receive files sent from pc. intermittent issue. realised when using custom rom. tried with several different roms and finally went back to stock same issue.
got fed up and took it back to where i bought it, and got it changed to a new one (within 3 days)... now no issue.
So maybe a hardware issue?

I read some other threads saying that an unknown proxy may have installed itself but I have no idea if that actually happened or how to solve that problem. The instructions weren't very clear in the other threads, not that they were bad threads I just couldn't make sense of them
I'm running Leedroid HD GB 3.0.3
With Kerenel 2.6.35.13 Leedroid GB v3.0.3
and my base band is:
12.28b.60.14eU_26.03.02.26_M
Android version 2.3.3
Sense version 2.1
If anybody has had this issue, has seen someone with this issue etc. Please help me out. Because this tanks about half the functionality of my phone and I am not happy about it. Also do I need to flash my radio? That seems like it might solve the problem, but I didn't want to just jump on that without knowing if I needed to.

I don't know if the radio could cause that problem, however the radio version you're using is a little unusual and I don't recall anyone in the Inspire forum ever saying anything about using that version (I think version 03.02.26 is the original radio from HTC that came out with the Desire HD back in October). What do you think about flashing the latest official Inspire radio just for the heck of it? Almost everyone has been having very good results with it, and it's the recommended radio for a lot of custom Inspire-native ROMs now. The link is in my sig if you need it - it's the PD98IMG version that you flash from bootloader. Also, it wouldn't hurt to flash the matching RIL file...also in my sig. For the RIL, reboot into recovery, manually mount the /system partition then flash the RIL .zip file.
I had a similar problem with one of the ROMs i used...I got pi$$ed off and didnt know what was wrong...so I did the best thing I knew how to do...
Clear everything and reflash the ROM...
I am running Mike's Android Revolution HD based on HTC Sensation "non-XE" HTC base ROM and am experiencing a strange glitch. I would have posted this in the developers section but I have under 10 posts.
I have a Rooted S-OFF Sensation running this ROM and it works very well, exept for one thing. When my TMOUS Sensation's screen turns off, I normally can just hit the top button and the unlock screen comes right up, but sometimes, the lockscreen does not come up and I am forced to pull the battery on my phone. This happenes about once every couple of days. I have tried wiping and reflashing to no avail.
Please help.

Hi,
Which ROM are you running, and with which kernel?
Clean install, upgrade, what have you wiped before you started.
You need to provide some more information,so that you can get the correct help.
Info
Mike's Android Revolution HD based on HTC Sensation "non-XE" HTC base ROM 4.1.6, I have tried wiping using Mike's Superwipe and reflashing this version (Newest version) twice, same issue, I am running 2.6.35.14-Sensation-faux123-v0.2.3r+ Kernel and my radio version is 10.58.9035.00p_10.15.9035.02_2. I flashed the newest radio listed for this ROM, oddly, it is suposed to be 10.58.9035.00u, I use T-Mobile so that could be affecting it.
ROM - Mike's Android Revolution HD based on HTC Sensation "non-XE" HTC base 4.1.6

Hi,
Thank you.
There are known issues with that kernel.
I suggest you try the latest kernel, which you can find in my signature.
Go into recovery,
Wipe your cache partition and dalvik,
Flash the kernel,(exactly like a ROM)
reboot and enjoy.
Flashed newest Faux Kernel.
I flashed the new kernel, and I also flashed your battery mod, looks great btw
One last question, isnt my baseband suposed to be U and not P? why does it say P despite the fact I flashed the newest one for this ROM? and will it negatively affect performance?

Hi,
Glad you like the mod.
Those letters in the radio just refer to the carrier, and do not affect the performance in any way.
Thanks!
Awsome, I really really apprechiate it.
Thank you!
hey shenoka.. how is it?
I am really annoyed with this rom... I used it for my desire hd and never had a problem with it.. since I started using it on my sensation mike screwed it up massively... He is too stubborn to use the bricked kernel which rips on the faux rubbish that he is using now. I switched over to insertcoin because of this massive stuff up. So many people have complained about it and it took him this long to fix it if he hasn't already. The faux kernel is a joke and has always frozen up and have to be rebooted on me even especially in the morning when u expect the alarm to go off but the stupid faux kernel doesn't think it should go off.
And this same problem was happening for me on the de version so it definitely has to do with the kernel.
Anyways enough of my frustration has been let off about this rom. How is the new 0.2.5.2 kernel? Because I know that the 0.2.3r was rubbish for me and still did the stupid screen not turning on. I'm not going back to this rom until I am certain that the kernel won't do this same thing again.
Also has anyone noticed that with this rom u also have to sometimes fight to turn off the screen because it turns back on when u only click the power button once? Doesn't happen on insertcoin.

Why so much hate for 2 devs that are giving their wares away for FREE? There are numerous posts (today & yesterday even) on the development thread discussing how this happens, the fact that yes it is the faux kernel that has the bug, and how to install bricked if you wish.
Your frustration is understood. Isn't it nice to have so many choices of ROMs/kernels for your phone for free? I think these devs deserve more respect.

it's a gingerbread,
baseband:10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M (ive never flashed my radio)
I'd suggest you try to update the radio for the GPS issue since the recommended version for the ROM you have is 10.58.9035.00U_10.15.9035.02_2
The link to the radio is on the ARHD page under the Downloads section of the ROM you have.
About the Wi-Fi issue I'm not sure what the problem is.
Update the radio and see how things go.
If that still doesn't work Super Wipe in Recovery and re-flash the ROM.

Hi
I've just tried to do a install of the Darkforest custom rom - version 6.1.0.
Im running Hboot 1.27.1111 and am S-OFF I'm using the clockworkmod recovery
I've installed the update.zip via clockworkmod and the rom seems to have installed okay - i've done the superwipe etc too - but now when i turn the phone on it starts to load upto the beats logo and then doesn't get past that point?
Anyone have any answers for me please?
The only answer I've got is: I have tried flashing it last week, had the same problem, couldn't solve it and used another ROM.
Every ROM works fine on my device, but Darkforest didn't.
install 4ext recovery and try to flash it again.see if it works
best wishes
Guys, please read maybe the last 4-6 pages on the thread. Known issue and I've only had a sensation for 4 days now (and 2 of them don't count because I've been at work or out) meaning I haven't had a chance to debug it yet. Latest stable version is 6.6.0

I actually have similar problems
Hello. Actually, I'm having very similar problems as you. In my case, after trying all combinations of custom ROMs (dark forest included) firmwares, etc, I'd found that I'm unable to boot ANY sense-based rom, even though they all successfully install without any issues. I then attempted to install aosp and aokp based roms and to my surprise, it worked flawlessly! I know for a fact it's not a software or installation issue because I repeated each attempt on my sister's Sensation 4g and it had zero problems my particular phone experienced. As of right now, I'm totally stumped as to why this is happening, but I guess I'm lucky that I could still function running Touchcream 2.1 or CM9. Please try more combinations of roms and fw to see if you're having similar problems. If you do, then there's a possibility that we're having hardware issues.

Hi thanks for the reply - I'm in the same boat too I've just installed the viperS ROM and worked fine first time so must be something up as Jonny has nicely pointed out - i'll stick to this ROM untill i see an update from Jonny on his thread.
Many thanks
Well, since the "search on this thread" function is..no longer avaible, here on Xda, i must open this thread to understand.
I am gona selling my Senation Xe and i am running last firmware, exactly 3.33.401.153, and the latest STOCK ics update for Senny XE.
WiFi turn on correctly, find all the networks around when available, BUT when i try to connect it stuck at "acquiring ip addres".
Let me explain better: if i run a custom ics or jb rom (any) wifi works great whit no issues.
If a run stock ics it not. And i flashed the stock update twice.
WTF!?
Any help is appreciated.

Well it has happened a couple of times when I had written incorrect password. I don't think it may have to do with the rom, seems more like modem issue. Anyway you can try Wifix, search it on google, it's a sort of patch that has solved a lot of wifi problems
