Occasionally you find an application that surprises you, either because it is something really new or because they applied a different perspective to a subject that is not new.
Well, if you are someone who believes that the issue of launchers and everything is invented, perhaps you should try Launcher 360, a pitcher who combines versatility and simplicity in a robust, nevertheless, full of effects.

The application has certain similarities with the launcher built by default in MIUI ROMs, probably because both come from the same country.
However, and here is where the amazing thing about this launcher, the developers have decided to include a drawer, which includes not only the list of all installed applications, but also the list of media (images, videos and music) stored on the device, which are so well organized and accessible, regardless of the application you use to play them.
The main features of the launcher, which just released version 1.5.1 are as follows:
Android runs on versions from 2.1,
Accept customization through themes,
Includes specific widgets (battery, weather forecast, clock),
Allows folders (which can include any number of applications)
Animations and transitions desktop applications list,
Organization of the applications on the drawer.
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=JS_Tffv8rDk
Like many of the applications that come from China, the biggest handicap of this launcher is the language, since the original version is only available in Chinese.
Nevertheless, thanks to the wonderful community of Android users, the application has been fully translated into English and Castilian, pending some minor detail, as the weather forecast only works in the Asian country.
From here we encourage you to try this launcher, we are sure will surprise you, and hope ye get us your comments and opinions.

I was chosen to do a survey of two different versions of the new Vlingo app, so I got some screenshots. Wondered what you guys think of the new version of the app that will soon be released in a month or so..
Version 1:

}
Version 2:
I love the new interfaces, not sure which version they will go with. That's the reason they wanted us to give feedback. I love the humor of the "way too loud" screen.
And no I will not share an APK, so please don't ask. I'm under very strict rules. Sorry guys. Which I could.
This much nicer than the old one.
I would love to try this.
looks a lot better
I think version 1 looks the best from a ui standpoint. Interested to see how the new release works

Looks really great - though would love to see a dark theme. Also hoping they've incorporated new features such as the equilavent of google's "listen to". Vlingo tends to be more accurate I've found.
I can't make up my mind over which version I prefer - both look great.
the UI looks beautiful, any ETA?
Version 1 for me.
Version 2's UI reminds me of the Edwin interface.
Personally i am happy with any UI... cuz i just HOLD the search key to run Vlingo... just curious about the features...
so in this new version, it seems you have more options as to what you can tell vlingo to do...
is this correct?
can you maybe list some features?

Yep. Through voice commands it can post facebook and twitter statuses (possibly other social services down the road.. who knows), it can send sms, emails, and can make phone calls, open up google searches, it can open up google maps and navigation with specific addresses and such (eg. "Navigate to 1313 Mockingbird Lane"), and it can open other applications.
As for the ETA, not completely sure. Could be another month or more.
excellent apps have been using it lately.
Like the 1st version but would prefer a darker theme as vlingo is most used app on my phone.
Version 1.
Love to have a widget that is customizable (transparent background, different colors, layouts, etc.)
niiiiiice....,
I prefer version 1. However both do look a lot cleaner then the current version.

My Top Apps is an app that helps you take control of the apps you have on your device.
We all know that once you have lots of apps, it could be very frustrating looking for your favorite apps all the time, or constantly reorganizing your home page to have your most used apps.
This app is all about making your life easier by adapting your apps use habits and organize your apps by its usage.
My Top Apps monitors the apps that you use and provides quick access to the apps you used recently, most used apps or the apps that you use for the longest duration.
My Top Apps offers a launcher-style view, details view or a timeline view of the apps you use, and a set of widgets so you will never have to customize your home page with your favorite apps.
The app is available for download on the Android market or AppBrain.
Detailed user guide is available here.
nice app to add to your portfolio. i've downloaded it and giving it a try. i like the ignore apps feature with MRU, keeps my handy apps even handier. i might just have to get rid of my folders now, i'll be sure to leave an appropriate rating in about a week.
just for my sake, LRU is only based on last use; MRU is based on the number of uses; and Pro gets an additional ordering based on total time used. is this correct?
edit: sorry, missed the link to your blog, which covers that question clearly.. thanks

I just released an update with the following features:
Added widgets theme selection (Includes Transparent, Dark and Purple - Pro version only)
Add backup and restore of app activation history
Support ICS theme
Bug Fixes (refresh of large widgets and more)
I am looking for any screen Locker or Launcher software in the style of Lenovo phones. It looks like a glover leaf but it is meant to be a lotus flower.
As I am already searching for a while all hints are appreciated also if they lead to a ROM or anything that's not 100% what I am looking for.
This video shows the lock tool I am searching:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-Qj3PXR-eU
It would be great to have that and to get that ROM from the video. Unfortunately I don't speak any Russian.
In this XDA Developer Thread aalopez10 asks for the launcher. Unfortunately the apk file there is in Chinese, the widget is 3x3 but I need a 4x* widget.
And the result on my phone (Lenovo A750) does not look as nice as the screenshots posted there.
A non-text version of that launcher can be found here: http://www.4shared.com/android/gSVXdxoy/Launcher_signed.html?refurl=d1url
Another disadvantage of that widget is that it can't be modified. You cannot define the buttons yourself.
I also tried the ROM by cybermaus: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1650014
It has an app called Lotus, Magic Launcher or GoLauncher for Lenovo. But this version of Magic Launcher has two buttons that cannot be userdefined and it is also in Chinese.
Thanks in advance!
So here are serveral pictures of what I am looking for:

(From other thread, CES 2011)
(From Video, russian ROM?)
Launcher-Widget
(Lenovo K800)
(Lenovo A520)
(LenovoWidget.apk - did not look that good on my phone)
Update: I found both the Go Launcher with the right theme and the Idea Widget / LenovoLeWidget in the GB 2.3.6 ROM from cybermaus.
But unfortunately these files are odexed and I cannot use them on ICS. Is there any way to deodex or whatever needet to install them on ICS?
milocker has a great lotus lockscreen clone. Peep it out.
Thank you, good hint. I found lot's of very beautiful lockscreens but so far nothing that comes close to that Go Launcher lotus lock screen above.
Do you have any more hints or maybe a link?

Hello,
there are hundreds of calculator apps around. But they are ether like the stock calculator.apk too essential and only offer the 4 basic calculations and few more features on an alternative layout. Or they are too scientific and you have to do a PhD in math to use them.
So does anyone know a calculator app that is good balanced in complexity and functionality? And it should not look too fancy please
I tried Calculations and was quite happy from what I read. Unfortunately I got json errors when I used it and I did not really like the handling (which is not much of a problem but together with these json errors it's enough to keep on searching).
Then I saw this calculator for windows phone on xda.

}
I would like to have this on ICS. Just give me sqrt, percentage and 1/x with the 4 basic operations on the default layout and I am happy
Don't mind if trigonometric stuff or constants are included in alternative layouts.
Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
I test a lot of calculators!
My choice stopped on this one:
Mobi Calculator Free(CubeCalc):good:
Wp7 calculator is very neat and awesome!
Search for it on Play store and download!
Sent from my LT18i using Tapatalk 2
Search for Tw Calculator which is from Galaxy S, normal mode with percentage or you can go scientific mode with every buttons.
Where you also get app name of 'Calculator' and a nice Calculator icon unlike 3rd party apps.
Try Calculator. Its based off ICS, and has all the features youd want and need.
I have tried a ton of calculators and my search for calculators ended when I downloaded the Ti-83 for Android!
it looks exactly like Ti-83, fully functional, light, and Only requires Android Froyo or Above (2.2+)
Here is a screenshot of it, I do not know if I am allowed to distribute it's apk since it's not on Market anymore.
You can PM me and I can send you?

This! Without a doubt one of the best calculators available. :good:
With this utility app, older users will not have a headache because of the small application icons and complicated controls.

Big Launcher is an application designed to support older people to use smart phones more easily. Big Launcher includes an interface with icons and large text to help older people can see easily. In addition, you can pin contacts and applications to the home screen to make it easier for older people to use quickly, without having to perform many operations. Young children can also use the phone more easily thanks to this simple interface.
The main reason people have trouble with touch screens is that app icons are too small for their hands or eyesight. So, if you can't help your grandparents touch the right app to open, you can install BIG Launcher to make these icons bigger and easier to use by showing only the mechanical options. copy.
Main function
Simple interface with icons and large text suitable for older people to use
Simple installation, with no lock function for editing
Support Weather Widget for your convenience to keep track of current temperature and weather
Support clock widget with big text
Note
Must have Internet used to download weather data
GPS location: used to get the weather at that location
Read contacts: to get contact list attached to the home screen
Read write memory: to save data
