Sorry for the n00b question but how do I flash this? I have been away from the winpho scene for a while. Last thing I did was get stock mango RTM (locked, no customizations) onto the focus when mango was still new

Any chance of the Kitchen becoming avail for download? . I'm anxious to get my feet wet on WP7 since I've sold my HD2 and miss cooking.

I've only cooked using Ervius and osKitchen zero for WM. Is it much different for WP7? I plan to do some reading, but if it's close, I should be good to go.

Sounds older than my current ... what about the arabization (FGE or Imaginet) ?
this rom comes with FGA arabic also for the slide keyboard, but unfortunatily no touchflow and bt still not working with the singtone.

its fully english but a small cab included for arabic fonts for the in and out keyboard, and it is the original rom came with my kiser at the time of purchase.

What separate CAB file ???
when extracted, all I see is 2 files:
Kaiser_RUU.exe
RUU_signed.nbh
if I go ahead and flash the device ... will I have the option to decline the Arabic installation ??

No you won't be promoted for a choice, it'll simply install the customization, but you can always disable/enable it from settings.

Im download 1.81.415.4 WWE without radio and flash it to my HTC Tytn II and on hard reset ask me if I want english or arabic language and plugins... Now I will test it more...
After 1 day of usage this rom work stable and fast but Im find one mistake/error vhen I use keyboard and press "Fn" + "A" give me "Tab" but must give me "_" and "Tab" key doesn't work. Is there any solution for this?
Im find solution for this on registry im change key to:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD]

Known errors
Although it is very usable some things need a fix.
Google Maps refuses to run. This is because is won't install correctly as OEM package. [Temporary workaround: I've removed Google Maps completely, all you have to do download the latest version and install it.]
During boot there is a small glitch where a white screen is shown for a moment. This is nothing serious as it won't affect any functionality but it's not very nice. I've narrowed this down to shell32.exe but I don't know how to fix this.
Enlarge Start Menu has a glitch in the menu structure. [Fixed]

It's a "My first ROM", so I'm far from done.
The errors will be solved this week (probably except for the shell32.exe one at which I have no clue as to how to fix it);
As for ShutXP: it works as advertised in my rom. I like it because the OS lacks an easy soft-reset button.

The base is a diamond-skin, can't remember where I got it. I added the icons and translation.
You can always grab the screenshot and use it as a base for a new skin.

The glitch (not really a bug) with the white screen is still present but doesn't affect user experience.
I've noticed no more bugs in my daily use of the phone.

Hi Guys,
I'm from Holland and own an HTC Pharos device, I installed the dutch version of windows 6. I never flashed a rom before, so I'm a bit careful. I would like to know the answer to the following questions:
Do I need HardSPL installed/flashed in order to use this rom? (as far as I know my device is not locked, I have a vodafone subscription)
Does GPS/tomtom in this device work?
Do I need to backup my tomtom-map (benelux) before flashing this rom?
Is flashing as simple as connecting with activesync, and starting romupdateutility.exe?
If not, could you please clarify the steps?

As far as I know you always need HardSPL to flash a custom ROM
GPS/TomTom is working
It depends on where the map is located (phone-memory: do backup, storage-card: don't need backup), but you can always backup everything just to be on the safe side.
If the device is flashed with HardSPL: yes

I say: Flash it!
(And if you don't like it you can always return to the original OS by flashing this ROM)
Just installed the Rom. Liiks good and works good. I tried to install other skins but it was refused. Als Keyswap does not work. Any ideas??

Alas no update yesterday, and as I couldn't wait any longer to flash my phone I flashed the 20 sept version.
Haven't found any problems yet, sideloaded a few xaps without issues. Games section seems to be doing fine. I still need to get used to how MS integrated twitter and linkedin, but time will learn....
Now someone needs to find a way to backup stuff like messages, call history, etc. (the stuff I used to backup with PIMBackup in my Xperia X1 days....).
Thank you for the hard work, will definitely try the new version when uploaded!!

First you need RSPL or HSPL:

Keep in mind that you loose everything when you flash your device!!

Not possible atm, if you flash, all data will be lost.

Hmm.. I´m running 7720.68 and according to the RSPL/HSPL pages, I´m not sure that I dare run the update with this information..
WARNING TO ALL:
Do NOT use RSPL / HSPL with Mozart 4.XX and other RUU ROMS with MANGO.
All WP7F devices affected: MOZART, GOLD, SCHUBERT, MONDRIAN, SPARK!
It will damage your device. Not a joke.

Depends on your SPL version, if you have SPL 4.XX.XXX, you can't use RSPL/HSPL without bricking your device. You'll have to flash a stock nodo or pre-nodo ROM, including SPL, to go back to a previous version of SPL. After that you can use RSPL/HSPL.
If you flashed a Mango ROM without flashing the SPL, your SPL is still 1.XX, 2.XX or 3.XX, you can still use RSPL/HSPL.
Please read the RSPL/HSPL thread carefully!!!! All the info is there.

This release says HTC dll's fix. What's the fix from the 1.3 release? I am running the 1.3 and am curious to what the bug was? Was the bug from the rainbow rom that was the base rom?

is the same as for samsung focus 1.3 and yes the first DFT rainbow rom has not the htc dll´s= htc hub no live tile, touchXplorer works not + HTC Connected Media DLNA app works now .....

Thats weird, i now have the 1.4 and connected media gives me error that my phone is not supported. Not that i use it, but downloaded it to see what its about. Very good job with the rom though, you did very good job!!
Also the HTC Hub live tile isn't working for me, and it is activated in the background tasks, but just keeps showing the sun with no live actions?

Focus rev. 1.3 have a different hardware as Focus rev. 1.4. if you have Focus rev. 1.3 install my mi7ROM for 1.3 and check it again ....
or for Focus rev. 1.4 install my mi7ROM for 1.4.

Yes i know the difference, like i said i had a 1.3 and also have a 1.4 rev versions that means i have two diff phone, wth, yes thats what i meant not that i flashed the two ver to same phone. Thanks for the replies, it finally started working, for some reason it took like 30 min for it to start updating the tile.

Im not sure about it, i gave the phone back to my friend after i got done with it today, his is the 1.4. I will ask him to check it and see. But on mine 1.3 it isnt working with the HTC hub weather live.

my miROM_1 for focus rev. 1.3 Downloads : 204 and no feedback the htc hub live tiles not works- it works 100%

for now i use the xda wp7 app- without f.... verification. BUT i write to the xda MOD's with please to disable it for member status member ...
My very first rom for i9305. Im building it as a hobby. Dont expect a nightly build. I will try to release newer version as long as i have time during weekend. Please dont pm me for request. Im trying to keep the rom as clean as i can , as light as it can with all provided languages remained. Probably most of Google apps and Sammy apps were removed.
Ive removed as much bloatware as i can. Increased battery life and free more ram. The flashable zip contain only rom. No kernel , no baseband no any other files.
I AM TAKING NO RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BRICK YOUR PHONE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
This rom doesnt suit you if you want a good score in benchmark apps...
Whatever it is , do a nandroid backup first before you proceed and remember to do an EFS backup provided with the Aroma installer
You need custom recovery to flash this rom. It wont work with stock rooted rom with stock recovery

ive checked the LI9 out but it doesnt have as much language as LI5 ... anyway will work that out when im free..

my current rom based on EU XXALI5 and seems stable to me.. oh and thx for the beer!
XXALI9 on the way ..seems like its loaded with multi languages..

Didnt seem to work for me. First, the once the install said it was complete, which was VERY fast, it seems to be locked on the completed screen, I could click next, felt the phone vibrate then it just sat. After a reboot all the optus stuff reinstalled and settings still said I am running xxali5.
Just a quick question for the newbies or 1st timer flashing roms..
Do our device need to b rooted before flashing this rom or by flashing the rom will enable root for us?

Need to have CWM to flash the rom, and you will find the new ROM will be rooted already if is custom.

That was after a full wipe.
Did another wipe and installed, ran like a normal install process this time. Rebooted phone, lots of bloatware gone, yours few apps were there, optus apps were back again. Also still reporting as version 5 and not 9.
I have noticed though, althought about deviece says the baseband version is xxali5, when i look in titanium backup, I can see a few running services ending with xxali9.
