I recently went from Onecosmic's port 3 to 4.2. I found out that i couldn't play any music ( like game music, but also regualar music ). I've my sound enabled for when i touch something, and than I do have sound, so I know it isn't the speaker.
Can somebody help !

Is it possible to hack the Linux-kernel to use the iPhone headphone-controller to change song, play, pause etc? I'm guessing it's in the kernel that stuff is handled?
It's just that I like the positioning of the iPhone controller better than the one on the headphones I got from my Nexus One.
This is good to know. I used cyanmod and my atomic bass worked in the beginning EVEN with Pandora! Then stopped working for some reason and only worked with the built in music player. Now Im on Froyo and only the music player works for it.

As a newbie I'm not allowed to post in the JaguarMiui ROM development thread directly (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1058809).
I wondered if anyone else is having problems with the latest JaguarMiui Android ROM (v21) for the HTC HD2 and it not skipping songs via AVRCP in the MIUI Music player?
i had been using JaguarMiui version 14 with my Sony BT3900U car head unit without problems, but with version 21, i cannot get the songs to skip/pause etc when pressing the buttons on my head unit.
Streaming of the music itself works fine via Bluetooth (A2DP).
I've tried downloading stock android music player and this does not work either, which means its must be something to do with the ROM itself.
I've browsed around these and other forums/google without finding anything.
Any hints or tips anyone?

i recently got a samsung galaxy s3 and i decided to use my old nexus s as a dedicated music player. i was wondering if there was a mod that can put google play music controls on the navigation bar... i tried aokp jb build 1 but they didn't have that. can anybody help me out? or can i request this to happen? that would be really great.. thanks
I have read all the other threads about this...but wanted to bring this up on out RAZR HD forum.
The phone is great so far... It has been a whole new android experience for me since the Xperia Play ICS update cancellation, but something I really miss from my Xperia is using my bluetooth headset for movies and gaming...
On this phone (XT925) the lag over bluetooth is annoying... and the fact that It came without any wired headset and that I can't use my Samsung Jet or Xperia Play handsfree headsets because the phone does not recognize them, make it even worse
So far I noticed the problem on 3rd party apps, because the lag is present on all games and downloaded video players (like Mobo), If I use the Stock video or audio player the lag disappears completely... too bad the stock player doesnt allow subtitles via SRT files...
Gaming is awful with the Lag... but I cant live without the sound anyway...
I'm using a Sony Ericsson MW600 Bluetooth headset with my RAZR HD... and I love this little device, I'm also concerned why It was able to fully work on my previous phone (Xperia Play, rooted GB 2.3.4) and not on a more advanced OS version.
Is there any workaround for this? I don't know maybe a way to make the stock player read ther SRT subtitles files or to make thr mobo player compesate the LAG?

Aside from trying to re-pair, I'm not sure if there's anything you can do.
The bright side is that we should be getting the JB update soon. With that will surely come new bluetooth binaries. Hopefully, it makes things better for you.

I've searched all over and can't find anything so I'm hoping someone here can help.
I recently purchased an android 4.1 head unit for the car. It's decent. But one thing bugs me, the stock music player is rubbish so I use rocket player. The steering functions for changing track did control this, but suddenly stopped working. They started controlling the stock app in the background. Meaning both players were going. If I close the stock app, then no sound from any app comes through the speakers. I must open the stock music app in the background before sound returns.
Any idea how it can just use rocket player with steering functions without all this hassle?
