[Q] HOW TO Backup a htc titan rom??

Hi I have HTC (Ultimate) Titan. I want to install a custom firmware. But to have more security, I wanted to do a full backup of my firmware, if I do not like or something goes wrong in the update. My carrier is VIVO in Brazil.
EX: export my firmware to the *. cab or *. nbh
Pleaaaaaase Help MEEEEEE!!!!
My system: wp7.5 MANGO
OS : 7.10.7720.68
firmware : 1600.2200.10701.519
radio software : 16.23.02.09_2_16.24.00.23U

you may want to give that a try (i havent tested myself but i plan on trying it out this evening)
If it works is it possible to get a copy of your backup - i dont want any of your information but a lot of people are buying the at&t titan unlocked and none of us can get tethering working because at&t locked it down - your brazil ultimate is the same hardware but it is unbranded so if we can get your software on our titans it should solve the at&t lockdown issue for us.

You need bootloader unlock and custom ROM for flash.. And it doesnt exist for new Mango devices like Titan or Radar now...

I've bought mine online via Allegro (polish analogue site for eBay) for 1000 zł, which is an aquivalent to about 285 US dollars. I was wondering about any way to unlock this phone to be able to install .xap files too, and today I've tried the Window Break project. It works, and now I can install any .xap file I want from the forums etc.
Unfortunately this is not as popular az HTC Windows Phone smartphones, and there are no custom ROMs available for download for now. We have to wait I think.

Indiaplaza sold initially for 16.9K (India only). Now it's selling at 18.4K,, but i can still get it for you @ 16.9K. PM me if you are from India

I read it somewhere, that we should bring up diagnostic tool before applying the update and the utility will update, this however worked for omnia 7 but not for Omnia W. In case anyone thought of trying it, then please don't, I've tested it so and the version retains 1109. NO UPDATE

I guess you mean jail-break. Unlock usually means change of operator.

Why isn't there a section for the Omnia W like the other phones?

Oh well i'm kinda new to this WP7 thing, but i managed to unlock mine via windowbreak, so now i can sideload xap files, idk if this is what you mean by jailbreaking. It's all i need for now tho

Hi,
How did you do it? I tried all the steps for windowbreak but the windowbreak option doesn't show up on grps menu in diagnostics app.
What version is your diagnostics app? Mine is 1104

Weird, I have the same version and the latest firmware installed (7740). It worked just fine for me...

I am a developer (student account). Maybe that is problem? I dont really know how the interop unlock by windowbreak works.

Worked like a charm on OS version 7.10.8107.79. I had to reboot the device after the unlock. After that, I could sideload xaps, start and debug .NET software with Visual Studio 2010, and so on.
I think it's time the Omnia W gets it's own section, or the Omnia 7 section is renamed to "Omnia 7 / W".

Marshmallow for 6 plus pe-ul00?

Hi guys. Are there any news about official marshmallow for the chinese version of Honor 6 plus? I'm talking about the pe-ul00. On the emui site the last stable version is b351(lollipop) and the last beta is from january. Right? The only update that seems available is that I can find by hicare app. It's the B550. Is it marshmallow? Is it stable or a beta?
I'd like to update but I think nothing official came out. Do you have some informations?

huawei did a bad thing that huawei didn't provide EMUI4.0 rom from its website but not all users got update,I can give you a updata from EMUI3.1 to EMYI4.0 beta and beat to official if you need

I´m having a Honor 6 Plus PE-UL00 with Build EMUI3.1_PE-UL00_6.1.1 Android Version 5.1.1 loaded from here: emui.huawei.com /cn/ plugin.php? id=hwdownload& mod=detail&mid=127
...and i´m not speaking a single word chinese, i was just joking. So, for you question, if i can read it, i can download it.

No news, colinsc gave me two download links updating build 611 -> 618 and 618 -> 6116 so OTA update should work, but i was not able to download.
So i stuck at this old one: http: //emui. huawei .com/cn/ plugin.php?id= hwdownload &mod=detail &mid=127

i'd tried it and now my phone no longer able to boot-up.
it will come out the Android screen but after that i can see a green light and red light at the top left of my phone and then it is off again.
What happening, man?

No, I am still running 6.1.8 beta with no problem. Maybe you can describe in detail from which build you started updating, which builds you used and what you have done step by step.
Did you try a factory reset from the service menu?

This is what i have done:
1) I'm updating the OS from the old KitKat 4.4.2 (not sure which build since it is auto-update with EMUI 3.0)
2) Then i try to update it to Marshmallow (the 2nd link from collinsc/KKF32; http: //pan. baidu .com/share /link?shareid =5380194 66&uk= 309376 3556)
3) It is then the nightmare started. Phone updated but somehow could not boot. Press the [Volume down + Power button], it shows the Android mascot with a caption mentioning that "Phone Locked"
So, i did a further research and found that my phone is bricked!!. And i found a discussion in this forum teaching how to reverse brick from DigiGoon (http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/help/honor-6-plus-pe-tl10-wont-charge-boot-t3404687).
My problem(s) and question right now are:
1) I do not have the bootloader unlocked code. In order to get it, i will need to go to the Huawei EMUI e-mail to them the EMEI and S/N# to get it but I am still waiting for it until now. Is there anyway i can get it like RIGHT AWAY???
2) Also, can i use the latest "trustable" Android firmware (e.g. EMUI3.1_Android5.1)?
Sorry for the long details but hope that you kind a get what I am facing right now and probably recommendations on what to do next.

If you have a Huawei id and also know the product id alongwith IMEI or S/N of your phone, you can get it online from Huawei website. Just Google unlocking Huawei bootloader.
You can use any stock firmware but the latest one is the best.

Nope. I didn't have the product ID.
That's the missing piece since I couldn't type the *#*#1357946#*#* code since the phone is already bricked right now.
Is there any other way to get the bootloader unlock code? Anyone?

And download Huawei ID generator.exe
May be it can help you to generate a device id.
Head to Huawei P8 lite folder and you can find Huawei product ID generator.exe there.
Hope it helps. Let us know here if it is legit.

1. It seems there is a general unlock code too for all huawei phones, maybe it will work for you. Give it a try.

2. And for the second question, the official 5.1 ROM worked fine for me, so just use it. http ://emui.huawei. com/plugin /hwdownload /detail?modelId=127
(from android 5.1 (build 6.1.1) I updated manually to android 6.0 (build 6.1.8 beta) and it still runs fine for me.)

I've updated the final Lollipop version 6.1.1 to 6.1.8 (Marshmallow) - all OK, works fine, no double tap to wake..
However, I can't get past that version - updating to 6.1.16 seems to pass OK, however I see no change in the version number or any other differences. Of course, checking for newer SW tells me there is none.. any idea how to get more recent Marshmallow builds? Hi guys, i've been a guest for many years and always i was able to accomplish what i wanted thanks to all the good tutorials and the ROMs that you make and everything, thanks. But, today i'm out of luck and i hope that any of you can help me.
My Galaxy S8+ was on AT&T and i had to change carrier so i unlocked the phone. Right now i'm under MetroPCS but i find that i dont get more updates. I started to search how to get them and got in some threads were i learned to install stock ROMs with ADB but still without success. Actually, my phone right now is with an older version of software.
The android security patch that i had was from July, i have March 1, 2017.
I found the (supposed) OTA files but when i try to install i get error in the installation.
Someone can tell me the right way to make the firmware upgrade?
Android version 7.0 / Samsung experience version 8.1 / Android security patch level March 1, 2017 / Baseband Version G955USQU1AQC9.

I feel like c9 was a mistake or base FW i Also Have A Att S8+ Unlocked i remmember that when i bout it it updated just cant remmember to what but i Flashed The G955u DE Fw and it updates no problem

Switch to the unlocked firmware and use the most recent update.

Yes, this was the solution. I had to pay for a new AT&T prepaid simcard ($10 usd), activate the device online and then change the date a couple of times until i get the August update. Thank you.

I checked dc-unlocker, but they didn't list mya-l22 = y5 2017 in supported devices webpage.

I could find the key they where talking about but don't know how to decrypt it.. very sad : /

yeah, +the attached files cannot be downloaded there, perhaps someone can provide an unlocked stock firmware for sp flashtool or clear steps and fix files for all y5 users

ItThere is an alternative way to unlock your bootloader but its a bit hard ,
Any trust me it doesn't matter for now,
All custom roms have bad performance i tested all pfy them.
As for rooting will good luck with that ?
