[Q] Help: Htc HD 2 with Android RCMix3D_Runny_v5.1_HD2 - General Questions and Answers

Hey @ all,
i have a Htc HD2 with RCMix3D_Runny_v5.1_HD2 running and i have a big problem when i call some person the can hear me but i cant hear her . i search for an update but i cant find anything can someone help me please !!
Sry for my english

one possibility for this problem is you are connect the mute button on the calling screen. If this are the problem, make a free call and touch the button of silence on the screen. Also you can press the up button on lateral, to control the volume of the phone. They are many applications to take the absolute control of the volume on your HD2. This applications show you all the volumes to all the controls (call volume, multimedia volume, ringtone volume, etc...). I hope to help you, and really sorry for my little english.

hey thx you for trying to help me , i have tried to make the steps and they doesent work i don t understand why when i am at home i can hear other persons but when i am in a city or a village it doesent work ?

Go to COMM MANAGER, you will see a speaker there. If the speaker is ON you're in trouble LOL, just turn it off whenever you need absolute silence . Best advice, while in school, turn off your phone and attend to class!
Strange... I'm using Gnat's 6.1 and when the keypad is locked (via holding the End Call button), the volume buttons take the phone out of standby but they don't alter the volume at all. The only key that does anything is the left soft key, aka the Unlock key when in locked mode. The volume buttons and the soft keys/home key/back key all turn the screen back on but don't function at all otherwise, until the phone is unlocked.
Are you using a different keypad lock program or something? Or are you also holding the End Call button to lock the keypad?
Mine alter the sound while the phone is locked - yes, it's bug.
I don't know how to fix that either, but I'm sure somebody on here does. Should be simple for somebody who is familiar with phone's registry.
OK . If anyone is working on it (registry fix) please post here results. By the way : in my school everyone have phones turned on, and silenced.

I don't understand what is your main issue. Is it MUTE the phone, then just turn off the sound. Edit your "silence" profile and make sure you have sounds turned off when you are in "Silence" mode. No mater where your side button points the volume to, Silence profile will determine if there will be sound or not. But you need to EDIT the profile and set it acordingly. The issue with the bottons, is something that will mostlikely be taken care of when a final WM6.1 comes out. For now, all there is are experimental test roms.
The same problem. It is still possible to adjust volume while keypad is locked
I'm still very confused by all this. I don't have this problem. I put the phone in Vibrate mode, lock my keypad, let the screen go black, then press the volume buttons. The screen comes on but the volume is unchanged, no matter how many times I press the buttons.
I understand , that the ringtones are silenced with other metods, but if I am using some kind of programs what are making noise, when in use ( for example some communicators) I know I can silence ringtones by Profiles , but I just want to find some solve for this problem, and not only me want this.

Can lower the X7510 keyboard pressing sound?

I remember reading somewhere about silencing the keyboard pressing sound but can't find it. My need actually is to lower the sound so that the typing sound is not so obvious in a quiet meeting. Anybody found a way of doing that?
Thanks.
Hi try pressing "start, settings, sounds & Notifications" and you should see it called screen taps & hardware buttons...TJ
Thanks but the sound & notification unfortunately does not do anything to the keyboard pressing sound...
sorry I was going by my x7501 and didnt realize you had a 7510. Ill keep searching and post it here if I find something...TJ
Hello,
press " Fn " and then " > " so you can switch the keyboard sound on or off!

How to adjust incoming call ring volume in real time?

Dear all,
I'd like to write an AP which will change a pda phone's ringing volume while someone call you. It's not while talking, it's before you pick up the call.
I need to change it when it's still ringing. But I don't know which API or registry can I use to change it. I search on internet a lot but seems no one need to implement this kind of function.
If anyone know, please help me. Thanks a lot.

While talking, slide the volume hardware button UP or DOWN. The receive volume level shall change...Simple..
i think he want to change the volume of the ringtone while its ringing.. no idea yet
Actually, it depends on what you're using. if you're using the new Opal volume slider you can't really control the volume.. i dunno why.
trying to search for a solution myself.

Thanks. But maybe I didn't say it clear. I modify my post about that.
Yes, it's not when you're talking. It's while it's ringing.
And I want to write a program to do it. So sliding volume key doesn't work for me.And sliding volume key while ringing will make it mute, can't change volume like in talk. So I couldn't send a volume key event to change it. Thanks.
I'll be searching for a solution as i can't change my incall volume at all.. not even while in a conversation.
i'd be happy to have an app which can do that.. both while it's ringing and while in a conv.
Yes, I plan to write a similiar app like you say. But now fail to change volume while its ringing, but in conversation is ok.

Voice Call Volume Control Issue

When I'm on a call (regular headset or speaker phone) and I press the volume buttons on the left of the phone, the display shows volume being changed up and down. But the actual call volume remains the same which is always loud.
The volume control buttons work for everything else (ringtone volume, Youtube, music, etc.), but just don't change the volume during calls. If there's a way to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it.

[Q] [HOW-TO] - Accept/Decline incomming call

Dear all,
I, maybe, have a stupid question but not able to find out the solution !
I am wondering how to change the HTC Sense default ring to accept/decline an incoming call when phone is locked or in deep sleep mode.
I find this not very user friendly to move the bubble "Accept" or "Decline" into the big ring ... I am expecting for a slider or a simple button....
Does anyone know how to modify this feature ?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Nino
There are custom ROMs where you can revert the lock screen back to the default Android lock screen, but even then you will have to unlock via a slide then accept the call by hitting a button. Custom ROMs also allow you to decline a call by pressing a volume button.
Most touchscreen smartphones don't have a simple push-button to answer or decline calls, as a single touch can be incidental and thus happen in your pocket.
Note, however, that you can either move "Accept" or "Decline" into the big ring OR move the big ring to "Accept" or "Decline."
Also if you press volume down (probably up works as well but it's what I'm used to from a previous phone) it will silence the ringing/vibration without even having to take it out of your pocket.

I either use one of the volume buttons, or the power button.

Thanks for your feedback.
I am, currently, using Elegencia ICS Rom for Sensation.
I will try to use vol up and down.
However, I was expecting a nice UI to accept/decline incoming call like the iPhone one !
Regards,
Nino
