Hey guys! This is my first ROM for the G2x, first time stepping out from a moto devices to do some type of development. Anyways, this is based off the OTA gingerbread update. Focus was to make sure this is a fully functional stable rom with good battery life. Did not test with any other kernels , just stock. Considering this a beta since I have not had any tester.

just curious why not a zipfile? Definitely glad to see a new Rom though!
So to my understanding there are no code changes at all correct u just made this on ur phone please make a zip of the rom not a nandroid

having a problem with the update script that is why, nandroid is just as same ,just an extra step.

What recovery image was on the phone when this was backed up?
Md5 does not match..followed rules and got error ...maybe a zip?

you either didnt extract and place the backup properly or renamed the backup folder with a space, tested this method with another g2x user yesterday so it should work

Reason I ask is the rom I'm using now I get about 8 hrs. Max with light usage.
The most I've gotten out the battery was when I was using MIUI. I was averaging about 12 to 14 then.
By the way, this was with stock kernels on both.
Either way DL and will try it out soon and give you feedback!

the other day I calibrated my battery to test my battery life and it lasted me almost 2 days untill it shutdown on me. no setcpu , stock kernel, no lg notification app. Moderate use with wifi and 4g

This is one tweaked rom,thanks to Team Revolation,this rom screams and great battery life.This is an optimized 4.67.651.3 base,with a custom kernel & tweaked to the max and most of the framework is transparent,this thing is running on sense 1.0,its bloatware free,so its clean and mean.This is a team project between stevo and I.Make sure to thanks stevo for all of his hard work and dedication.

Does the different kernel cause the front camera to flip? Also, is Talk's video chat working correctly? The only Rom I've been able to find that has it working right is the cm7 nightly release and nitrous 1.3.3 (on the stock kernel). Looking forward to checking this out. Great work and downloading now.

Yes it does flip,im working on fixing this,but it does work good in panoramic view.I have'nt tried google talk video yet.Its version 1.4.

The update will include,Beats Audio hack,custom rosie,more init.d tweaks,updated smurfed-out tweaks 4.0,which i hope fixes the camera issue and some other goodies.Working on it now.

When I saw Revolations I thought it was a typo and was gonna PM you. Til I finally picked up on the "Evo" aspect lol
Looks nice. I don't really ever use sense, but if I did, I'd give it a go. Any plans or inclination to make the unlock bar and rosie dock rectangular? I'm sure it's just me, but I've always disliked the arches in Sense. Not that my opinion matters, just throwin it out there, maybe others will add their yays or nays about it.

How do I flash this?:
1. Download the ZIP
2. Place on your Internal SD card
3. Boot into CWM(Red perfered)
4. Wipe data/cache/dalvik cache
5. Select Install from SD Card
6. Select [Dev]astation
7. Reboot and Enjoy!
8. Let the ROM settle for a good 5 Minutes before main use of the phone.
How do I change the lockscreen?:
Go into Settings, select Display, then select Unlock Screen and choose the lockscreen of your liking.

Go to system/etc and open vold.fstab file. Change second to last line I think from mmc1 to mmc2

I'm loving it so far! It is running unusually smooth for an ICS rom for the Evo! That game you added in will get very addicting, very fast... :victory: I will let it settle and set everything up and see how it runs or if I have any suggestions. This is a great rom! Thanks (because my 8 thanks per day limit is reached :good: )

Please change the name I first read it as (pronouncuation) phyco dike which sounds crazy
please don't take this as offensive its just the way I saw it and was thinking it needed a better name, you did say your open to suggestions right

I am a big fan of the roboto font, although the ubuntu fonts look great with anything! I use Apex auncher pro, so taking trebuchet out is fine with me

Update. Like this a lot. Really smooth. Just needs to be slimmed down, not much internal storage after initial boot. Did you say a2sd is available or baked in? Can't wait to use this as a daily but with the low internal storage I can't just yet...

New Rom
Thought I would pop in and say thanks! Always good to see new developers getting in the mix. It may be your first rom, but you will learn more by working on this rom than anything else. Congrats, and when I get a chance I will certainly check it out!
I need wifi now!! Can't wait to try. Have used all sense 3.5's out there. I am using a modified version of energy atm. Killer battery life. 3+ days on 3500 battery. Thanks for the hard work!

In the original Prime XL3D cyanogenmod a2sd was in the rom. It automatically moved apps and dalvik cache to sd-ext when the rom was flashed. So thats probably interfering with DT a2sd(if you added it in)
