[Resolved] [Q] Alpharev Desire S-OFF Step2 Stuck - General Questions and Answers

Hi there, noob calling
I need your help regarding S-OFF for my HTC Desire.
I created a unetbootin usb key with alpharev 1.8 and followed the steps in this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=805811.
But now I am stuck in the last step of the tutorial: step 2 of 3 of the alpharev procedure "preparing your phone for HBoot flash.."
It's been stuck for circa one hour: The notebook screen shows this message and the phone screen shows the CyanogenMod 7.1 bootscreen (with the skateboard) in an endless loop.
To this point everything went fine.
The data:
HTC Desire PVT4
Rooted via unrevoked 3 in spring 2011
Cyanogenmod 7.1
HBOOT 0.93.0001
Can i disconnect my phone safely? I could only find information about being stuck in step 3, but not in step 2.
If you need any further information, i will provide anything i can.
Thank you in advance,
Funkaphil
update: i disconnected my phone and removed the battery. Then it went into bootscreenloop, but after restoring my nand backup it booted normally. now it is lagging but another reboot should fix this.

Ok, i finally succeeded with revolutionary. I think this counts as resolved.

[Q] Stuck in recovery boot loop HTC Desire GSM ~ ASSISTANCE APPRECIATED!!

Severe panic!!
I rooted my Desire which was running 2.2 Froyo on the O2 UK network using unrevoked and it worked fine without any issues. Custom recovery by ClockworkMod.
The next day I then decided i needed to turn S-off so found a guide and tried installing unrevoked forever from a zip on the root of the SD and i got 'installation aborted error 42'. Tried again the next day but before i got started i decided to give myself re-assurance that i wouldnt lose anything on the device so i entered recovery and chose restore.
Big mistake! My handset then rebooted and got to the O2 splash screen. It wont move from there. Pulled battery out and tried again. Same. I assume i havent bricked the device and it is just stuck in a boot loop?
Since then i have removed all my user data from the SD card and 'cleared storage'. Tried installing an miui rom and again 'installation aborted'.
Can anyone clarify why this is happening and point me in the right direction?
I am a noob and would appreciate any help on this.

[Q] HTC desire crashing during boot

I'm having a bit of trouble with my HTC Desire. I know this is the 100th post regarding this topic, but other threads have been getting me nowhere.
It takes 5-10 min to get past the "HTC" and "Quietly Brilliant" screens... When it has finally booted, the device is unresponsive to any input.
HBOOT and FASTBOOT are working. I have used the "CLEAR STORAGE" in HBOOT... Without luck.
I can get the phone into recovery mode, ADB recognizes the S/N but shows device offline.
HBOOT screen shows:
BRAVO PVT4 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.93.0001
MICROP-051d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-5.11.05.27
Aug 10 2010 17:52.18
The phone is not tweaked in any way...
Does anyone have a suggestion for my next approach?
Any help is appreciated.
factory reset it or flash a new rom

Sensation rebooting automatically

Hello, i wanted to root my phone and install custom rom, but i have the following problem.
I followed this tutorial's 1,2 and 4 step. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300)
And then i updated with this (http://www.mediafire.com/?utpdjggalstxz), because on coinflip rom details said i need to update firmware.
Now i cant even boot into phone normaly, it automatically restarts continuosly, but i can get to bootloader-reboot menu.
What can i do, and where did i go wrong? Thank you!

HTC One Mini S-Off Problems

Hi all,
I've put my A&TT htc one mini in a rather funky state. I attempted to use rumrunner s-off 0.5.0, and got to the pouring 2 step where the phone failed to boot. I've ended up in a boot loop where the splash screen (htc one, beats audio) will show up and then the phone will reboot to the htc phone screen and stay there and won't boot into the rom.
I've flashed he following rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535024.
I've created a video of the behavior that can be found here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwtAhMkPF0etMUFxUzVoR1BXakE/edit?usp=sharing
I've tried reflashing the rom with the same behavior per @beaups reccomendation with no success, so I'm not sure what happened.
I do still have access to twrp and fastboot.
How can I get my phone back to a working state?
Thanks.

Boot loop! Help!

Hi,
A few weeks ago, I found my wife's HTC One SV (k2ul, Europe, LTE) that was forgotten in a drawer for a few months. I wanted to use it as a secondary phone and began to process to upgrade it. I got it running on Venom 1.5, running Android 4.2.2. It worked OK a few days then I had a few strange reboots. I re-flashed Venom 1.5, strange reboots again. Re-flashed it once again and now I'm stuck in a boot loop. It boots, shows the HTC green logo, black screen, vibrates, HTC green logo, rinse and repeat.
The installed recovery was TWRP 2.7.0.1, but it had this annoying bug that when the USB cable was plugged, the touchscreen didn't work. I found TWRP 2.8.7.1-k2u/ul which fixed this issue.
With both TWRP versions, I tried three ROMS:
ViperSV_1.5.0.zip (4.2.2)
k2ul_4.2.2_3.11.401.1_stock_odexed_v3.zip (4.2.2)
Saturn+III+v1.20 (4.1.2)
I also tried sideloading them.
I can't get out of this boot loop (tried full wipes, partial wipes, etc.). I tried with a SD card, without SD card, with a SIM card, without a SIM card. Boot loop. I read each and every topics about SV boot loops. Nothing worked.
Do anyone here have an idea of something I could try? Here is what my bootloader displays:
Code:
*** TAMPERED ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
K2_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT-2.00.0000
RADIO-1.18.40a.00.05
OpenDSP-v13.2.0268.0620
eMMC-boot
Mar 14 2013,22:40:43:-1
HBOOT
<VOL UP> to previous item
<VOL DOWN> to next item
<POWER> to slect item
FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
FACTORY RESET
CLEAR STORAGE
SIMLOCK
IMAGE CRC
SHOW BARCODE
Finally, let me explain why I tampered and unlocked my wife's phone: more than one year ago, HTC released 4.2.2, featuring a bastardized Sense 5.0. She applied the update and got in a rage because she hated it. She asked me to give her her beloved Sense 4 back, but the downgrade was officially not possible. Completely unfamiliar with HTC devices (I only had Nexuses devices at the time), I unlocked the phone and downgraded it to Android 4.1.2 running Sense 4. She then used the phone a few months without any problem and finally got an Xperia Z1, forgetting to One SV in a drawer. I'm not an expert with HTC phones, but I know my way through XDA and it's the first time that I can't get out of a softbrick.
[TL;DR] Tampered and unlocked, S-On HTC One SV k2ul boot loops, I tried everything to unbrick it, I'll try anything you suggest.
