[Q] about the MIUI 4.0.4??? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anybody make a 4.0.4 version for MIUI???

creating and compiling ROM is not easy as a pie.
beside that i dont think there r too much different between 4.0.3 and 4.0.4
if u want to feel 4.0.4 there is a custom rom in ns android development section.
i am MIUI user but i dont think 4.0.4 have more advantages than 4.0.3
just wait for 4.0.5 then

You can buy the Nexus S (likely to get ICS) or the Galaxy Nexus which comes with ICS stock.
Or you can get any 2011 Sony Ericsson Android but you'll have to wait.
u can ask as many questions as u want in the Q&A page. u dont have to create a separate page for this :O
Yes

Seriously, doesn't any newbie know how to read the front page ? There is a FAQ there, it's not for eye-candy
I think cm9 is next i read it over at s2 thread but not entirely sure..

What was the need for creating a new thread for a useless question? This has been announced that there might be, it's a chance so it's unconfirmed. Samfirmware has claimed there might be but we shall wait and see.
excited with ICS?
try this ICS launcher..
Well, i dont think we will get ICS. THere is no news about ICS for i9000. Only ICS for s2 is gonna come out in the late 2012
I read that every cellphone that can work with Gingerbread is suposed to work with ice cream sandwich

In fact, no.
CM8 should be honeycomb but how the source wasn't released, never existed.
The next CM with ICS source will be CM9.

Lol "jelly bean"
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA
jellybean has not been released yet and i wonder if they even started their development on it
but technically with our phone model, we are hopeless with ICS stock update so how much more for the jellybean one
in my country stock is 2.3.4 DXKP9, and value packs are for 2.3.6 so maybe for value pack updates with stock in my country, i guess we still have to wait longer than the rest of you guys

What firmware are you talking about? 2.3.6, yes but what version?
U can add a kernel. Bam Custom Kernel is the most stable till today, think about it.

Probably never. Google things that are easily answered. Try the unofficial leak, better than official. Mod close 'er up!

I've actually attempted to get an answer from AT&T several times (all of which occurred before I began rooting my phone and installing new ROMs) and they kinda suck monkey a$$ when it comes to giving info on what we (the client) ask. It took me about a 45 min call or a 12 page chat to get their supervisors to finally admit that they don't have one because each one always tried to "get more information for me"

OP asked a reasonable question, and might be useful for someone with the same inquiry...At the end this is a discussion forum..It's obvious that at&t is useless answering such inquiries..If you don't like the thread don't make it a flaming area...Simply don't post in it...

The leaked ROM is really nice. I get at least almost as good batter life as I did on CM10 nightlies. The OS itself is stable. I did notice that the memo app FCs. But that's the only app I have had an issue with and, well, that's not that important an app.
I do miss a few feature from CM10, though. I like having profile access from the power menu, etc.

I just updated mine to 4.0.4, kernal 3.0.8, IMM76d.UCLF6 using Samsung Kies. I called AT&T just once and never did again. Even though they did point me to the Samsung Kies. I know not to call them about anything and to look at place like here for info. I don't know what verison this is (IMM76d). But I would start with Kies to get what is out offically and then go from their.

express gets jelly bean before skyrocket??

AT&T just annouced jelly bean for the express.. what about the skyrocket? we forgotten!??! Thank god for xda and leaks!

xda developers forums are not customroms.com ... News , topics , customizations , tweaks , methods of doing evrrything ! it pisses me of when somebody states he/she wants to stay stock and then replied "so why you're here on xda"..My whole experience with my phone is so much changed as I'm learning everyday on xda and I'm always at stock (or on stock leaks) ...I never settled on a custom Rom more than a day or two and I tried many..

Actually xda developers has always been a site for 3rd party development. Stock wasn't what things were about in its inception. There's really no need for this site if you are stock as all you will get is minimal support of take it to said carrier or send it back to OEM. A lot of people have no idea what this site is supposed to be for it appears.
