Hey, you guys found another link to the ROM?
Bit of a warning here: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1261297#r7
Warning!!!
After installing the new rom from HTC I now get fastboot (remote: not allow) errors, so looks like after applying this image you are locked into HTC roms until someone works out how to get around it.

There are plenty of other Roms that will have access to the market etc.. rather than using this.. what appears to be.. crippling rom.
Be careful! You have been warned.

Getting it now. I figure rooting and hero roms and other stuff can wait. I'll just take the applications I have been missing so much since I bought the phone here in Chennai.
Be careful.. don't just install this.. if it does what these other claims, you will have a phone in far worse condition IMHO.
Try this instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=538645
All the best to you though...

Why ppl are asking not to use other roms is becze it will update to spl 10 which we already have. atleast we can get google market with this one. all the other roms that are out there wont work for us.
^ agree with you, i guess he/she doesn't know our spl..lol...
if we can use other rom..we will not need this rom bro...

[FIX (maybe)] sensation overheating issue

As user Musa91 sad in 2 threads, the new one is this, there will be a possible solution of overheating issue.
It's simple, it's probably fixing this issue by changing firmware partitions
to do that, go here, download the 3.12.401.2/102 firmware, CHECK THE MD5 OF THE FILE, than put in home of your sd and flash it
i test it with actual ordroid 2.2.0, and, it boots up, it seems working, seems, i'm not sure.
the goal is you will be able to come back to the 3.32.401.x & 3.32.401.10x RUU
have a nice flash
hope for good news, report your impression here!
Big thanks to Musa91, Mike1986, and all witch try it.
P.s. don't know but, it's probably possible to flash the 3.24 and 3.30 firmware too!
p.s. i'm using a porting rom, i don't know if stock sense 3.6 roms can boot up with 3.12 firmware.. you could come back to 3.32 by changing the firmware zip with a t-flash card reader

That's not sharing.. you didn't put a legit file with legit md5.. do you know if someone download a your package and someting goes wrong with that? Like breaking zip? That people bricks his phone..
Simply.. the right way for the comunity is what i did up on.. if ypu did it yesterday, no one will close your thread
you simply post a formware, and all thinked you were posting a modding malware..
I do not need thanks or money, i'm only the first witch understand thay your firmware is the official 3.12
In the second thread one user said he will find you if he bricked his phone.. if you did a thread like mine, no one said it!
Nevermind.. great idea.. good job! It seems working
P.s. use official mike file, it's the same but, all peoples has already use it..
The sense version I'm not sure about but I'm firmware 3.12 but I have to say I think I've used the majority of Rome and the best for me I'm terms of least heat is cyanogenmod and miui with android 2.3.7 and 2.3.5 respectively.

Read this thread, section 6
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762709
Also the issue you are most likely seeing is because you tried to flash a ROM with a kernel without first unlocking your bootloader. This is also explained in the above thread.

Can you get into recovery? If so wipe/factory restore and flash the stock ROM or a custom one WITHOUT a custom kernel. I would suggest just going back to stock ROM and starting fresh. If you made a backup (which you should have) you can just go back to that too. Just remember to unlock your bootloader before you put a new ROM on.

Yes you must flash the stock kernel after the vzw screen of death. Using root66 makes it easier to get back up and running. One less thing to do and you can then down load ez unlock & ez recovery to unlock boktloader/ flash cwm.
Thank you everyone for responding
Everyone was very helpful
I was able to get the phone back to stock and I went into a store to exchange it because I had that permanent roaming thing
So now I learned my lesson and first thing I did with the new device is back up my imei..

[Q] I need help to update my Sensation.

I rooted and installed cyanogenmod for my sensation a few months ago. According to the change log, i have CyanogenMOd-7.1.0-SelfKANG10-Sensation. If this helps, about in settings tells me i have 2.3.7 android version and the mod is "CyanogenMOd-7.1.0-SelfKANG10-Sensation" I would appreciate someone telling me the easiest way to upgrade to this.new version. Thanks so much in advance

That guide is fairly general in that it just refers to the 'latest version of CyanogenMod'. So yes as per the OP of the thread I linked you to you will need to install 3.32 firmware. You could install over your current ROM if you really wanted but I'd recommend a full wipe for a nice clean installation.
CM7 is Gingerbread based and CM9 is ICS based so yes you will end up with a newer version of Android, hence the need for the newer firmware.

Firmware isn't removed with the wipe so it doesn't matter too much. I would wipe, install new firmware, install ROM and you should be good to go :good:
Make sure you do a nandroid backup before you start anything, if things go pear-shaped you'll want it. Also make sure you have access to a copy of your current firmware, if you have to restore your nandroid backup AFTER installing the new firmware it won't work as the firmware will no longer match, so you'll have to roll that back too.

I'm guessing you have a custom recovery and are rooted? would it not be easier to flash a new rom from the threads on here??? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2575766 the deox one for example) i know its 4.3 but its the latest android version for your mini.
i could be wrong but just a thought.
Maybe you could match it with your software version from the roms available in stock roms section, and pull the file from the zip? Check which "rom version" your using from settings>about>software information.
I'm guessing you are running stock?

Now I don't need the apk anymore.. Thanks for everyone that tried to give solution.. Thanks XDA..:good:
