hello fellow members @xda. i recently upgraded my honeycomb to ICS 4.0.3 by team Eos. everything is going great, i love the tweaks they added and i love ICS and how smooth it runs. BUT....for some reason every time i go into settings>sounds it instantly crashes...no IFs ANDs OR BUTs.
so....if anyone would like to help me trouble shoot this i would be thankful..
here's a link to the rom im using: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426838
50....
also im using #50 release.....52 is the latest... but is it safe to flash over my current rom? is it just like updating?
You should get the EOS V1.0 release. Not a nightly and all known issues have been fixed. Running this now on mine coming from 24, 44, 54, 62.

All you need to do is wipe cache and delvik cache. Flash and you should be good to go. Follow the instructions in the above link.
I just tried to repeat your crash and on V1, no issues.

I I flashed EOS nightly 51 with gapps 10.4 yesterday from nightly 34a, gapps 9.x. I did a full wipe as I was flashing a new gapps package. I have not loaded any new apps, simply restored my titanium backup.
While it seems rather random (not tied to any particular app/settings), I have had random screen freezes quite a few times in using this nightly. To fix, I have had to do the hard reset via power + volume down buttons. I filed a bug report but I just thought I'd ask if anyone else was having this particular issue with the latest nightlies (I have yet to flash 52 so this may have been fixed if it was indeed a bug).
Thanks.
I'm using a MZ601 with the TeamEOS nightlies for that flavour of the XOOM.
Others in the forums are reporting lockups similar to what you describe, but mine is working fine (Touch wood).
Some have suggested that changing the performance governor to lagfree instead of interactive helps.
I can only suggest you to flash a nightly numbered less than 50. With 51 I had problems my self for the first time since I flashed ICS on my xoom.

Going to do this I guess. I feel like I remember someone saying they flashed back to 49.
Thanks guys. Just glad its not on my end.
I was having that problem yesterday but the latest nightly (53) seems to address the problem. Been using it most of the night with no reboots.

Try downloading rom again and flash.

3.Wipe Dalvik
4. Fix permissions
5. Install zip from sdcard
Hello,
Follow the instructions and still having the same situation.
what issues are you having...I ran this ROM...it loaded good, no issues...what ROM did you come from before? You are on gingerbread boot loaders right? Don't mean to question or insult just asking to provide assistance....
You can take it back to stock then follow bigfau directions posted above...
This link below you can use for going back to stock, btw works great just used it yesterday....try it.

Coming from Galaxian v3 and before that infuse 2.2.3 by gtg465x. The problem is that is stuck on samsung logo after i install the version v6 of galaxian i test with tons of roms for infuse and the only 2 i really like was infuse 2.2.3 by gtg465x and the galaxian - awesome rom very stable, battery life, very clean and fast. Just want to keep with the upgrades. By the way thanks for the help. Very appreciate.

I rooted and upgraded my rom to Eos 1.0.0 several months ago. Ever since then ive been having issues with my bluetooth devices staying connected and working property. Also, lately my browser has been closing randomly and will get worse unless I reboot.
I absolutely love the team Eos build and hope they can help me find a solution. I am wondering if anybody else has had the same issues or know of anything that can help me?
Would upgrading to their new rom build help you think?
Upgrade to EOS 2.0.0
Can you go into recovery and wipe cache, and davlik? and check again.
And, if you decided to upgrade to EOS2.0, don't forget to wipe cache, dalvik and battery stats thru recovery.
So I flashed the 106 an haven't really noticed any issues with the rom itself yet. I tried to flash couple jb themes but it hangs at boot every time so far.I'm also wondering if the volume as shutter could be added in? or is there a flashable mod around somewhere? the only other thing would be that there is nothing in the op where synergy builds change from ics to jb. synergy is listed in the rom list as being ics tho the latest builds are jb. I love this rom!

Is you went from ics to jb without doing a full wipe then that might be causing some problems.
I would do a complete wipe.
sorry

HI, I installed the latest version of EOS 4 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2063406 and the latest kat kernel(92) and my GPS doesnt seem to work any more. What can I do to fix the issue? is there a JB rom that has 100% working GPS?
Thanks

I have to ask, did you wipe the cache, davlik, system and factory reset in recovery before flashing the ROM?
I am running TeamEOS 4, preview build B150 (newer than the Nightly 94) with the KatKernel 92 and I can get a GPS fix sitting inside of a one story house by the window in under a minute.
I'm using GPS Test and have 6 satellites in view, accuracy of 210 feet.

Ok, my GPS seems to be working again now. I opened GPS Test and enabled the feature where it keeps the screen on. After about 4 hours of being on it suddenly picked up satellites and can now connect and find gps location in under 1 min
Have been having issues with this too using EOS 3 with its own kernel. I tried using 2 different kernels that were supposed to have a GPS fix (roach and guevor) but then the rom wouldn't boot and got stuck on the color logo thing at boot.....redid rom and it boots and works ok but GPS is still hit and miss....using GPS tools it finds it eventually sometimes but the next day it takes a really long time again =\
Was considering going back to android revolution rom with stock kernel or something.....seems like going all the way back to stock is a pain in the ass?

Or you could try filling in a bug report with the rom makers and/or pointing it out in their respective threads. Issues like those can't be fixed unless people report them and are ready to help get them fixed by providing logs and testing.
