boot up and turn to android screen, and then turn to dark screen
with sound when pushing volumn buttom
any solution for me
because i don't know the phone history im buy 2nd hand
I'd try to boot into Fastboot/RecoveryMode - check phone status - s-on/s-off - stock/custom recovery - then 2decide what 2do - stock: full reflash by RUU - custom: try flash thru ADB or custom recovery (CWM/4EXT if installed) by some ROM

I am running crespo cm7 and want to put savaged zen rom on here but I can't get into recovery. I hit vol up and power and goto recovery but it just sits at the google screen. I flash clockwork recovery reboot to recovery and same result.
I have no clue what to do to get to recovery.
re-flash clockwork recovery using rom manager or manually flash it in bootloader mode

Agreed - I had a weird issue with ROM Manager and the latest CM nightlies, where suddenly I couldn't boot into Recovery.
Re-Applying CM via ROM Manager fixed the recovery issue (after a forced update of recovery through the app).
I just flashed LBC MOD 0.6.0 succesfully.
However, during the boot I still get to see the T-Mobile logo!
What did I miss? I'd like this to be gone....
I flashed from 4ExtRecovery, using the "FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4-for-saga.zip" zip script.
Apparently this hasn't cleared the logo?
What should I do to get rid of that?

Do you get the tmobile logo right at the start then followed by a moving boot animation?
Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
Yes. I tried 2 cases.
Booting regularly:
- T-Mobile logo
- Green spinning android logo
- Booted
Booting from HBOOT / 4Ext Recovery / reboot:
- HBOOT (select recovery)
- T-Mobile logo
- 4Ext Recovery (select reboot)
- T-Mobile logo
- Green spinning android logo
- Booted
It seems to be very early in the boot chain.

Ok what you are getting is the splash screen, this is never changed by flashing roms. There are a few methods that you can use to change it. There is app in the market called boot flash. Or search the forums for a piece of software called android flasher. Both methods are easy to use. The hardest part is picking the picture that you want

Trying to install DextersJB18.zip on HTC Flyer tablet previously running HC, I followed the following steps:
- Used HTC Unlock and verified UNLOCKED and S-OFF in bootloader
- fastboot flash boot boot.img (used plain "boot.img" and not htckeys img)
- Installed CWM recovery img (cwm-4.0.1.4-flyer.img)
- Factory Reset from bootloader
In cwm recovery mode:
- Wipe/Factory Reset
- adb push DextersJB18.zip and gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip to sdcard
- Installed DextersJB18.zip from sdcard
- Installed gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip from sdcard
After all successful installs, I reboot the device and it stays stuck on the white background "htc" screen.
I am able to restart into bootloader mode, select cwm recovery mode and so forth, but normal boot sticks on white htc screen.
Did I miss a step somewhere? Is there some way for me to check that everything is properly installed?
I looked at some of the "HTC white screen" threads but I didn't see anything that obviously applied.
Thanks for any help!
[SOLVED]
Was able to solve this by following instructions here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1358758
I reinstalled the lite generic HC (link here:
http://hyuh.net/files/flyer/HC-3g-light.zip )
It seems that somehow HC was previously removed somehow during this whole process. Boots properly now.
Recently I flashed official P920 ICS (upgraded from GB using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191698) so I get Wiimotes and HDMI sound on Samsung TV working. Now I wanted to install cwm recovery and install a custom kernel - that could allow me to overclock the phone. Unfortunately I can't get the recovery to work. When I flash CWM (using fastboot) 6.0.1.9 i get a black screen when I try to enter recovery when using stock bootloader. When I try to enter CWM with Wkpark's bootloader sometimes I get this message:
---------------------------------
muic mode = 0
Please wait for seconds
---------------------------------------
and then phone stucks on silver LG logo with fastboot on top.
and sometimes I get this message instead:
--------------------------------------------------------
_hw_c=23 _sr=1 scrm=0 (or something like that)
Power_Off
---------------------------------------------------------
And phone shuts down.
I tried CWM from the clockworkmod site and some [GB] TWRP from xda-developers. The result is the same.
Please help.
When that happens, I remove the battery for 10 or 15 seconds, then put the battery, back to press the buttons and when you exit the menu where you choose bot, or twr, give quickly to volume + and volume-to leave in the option correct and it will not leave it to power off.
Sorry if my English is not the most correct and some not well understood.

You mean, that I should do it in the menu in which I have 3 choices:
- Normal
- Fastboot
- Recovery
If yes, then it doesn't work. The default option is recovery, so before the timer runs out, the phone tries to enter the recovery but I get the messages described in my previous post. Even if I press volume + / - before the time runs out and select "Recovery" I get the previously described messages (or errors).
Some new info: when I try to boot recovery with the use of an app (Rebooter) I only enter the silver LG logo with fastboot mode instead of recovery.
Guys, please help. I want to OC this phone so badly...

Hi, is there any data loss with this procedure?
Does the CWM Recovery use any space on the device or card after?
Hi There,
It goes all well for these steps..
How to root ?
-Open Odin 3.07.exe
-Put your phone into Download Mod
(Power button-Home button-Volume down button,at same time)
-When you enter in Download Mod, you should get blue box on Odin 3.07
-Uncheck Auto Reboot option
-Go to PDA and find your recovery, then click on OK
-After you checked everything click on Start
-It should take around up to 30-40 seconds
- When its finished take out battery, put it again
but after putting battery back in.. i cant seem to get in CWM it just get stuck on Samsung Galaxy Screen where it shows model of the phone which is GT-I9105P. And after waiting for 5 min it automatically reboots and phone starts normal. And if i try to goto CWM it takes me to stock CWM.
Any help?
Thanks alot in advance.
