Im looking for a good ROM that has WiFi calling and Bluetooth working. I have tried Phoenix Blood, Tsugi, and Bionix with no luck.

I'm no expert , but i think Wifi Calling & Bluetooth works on those, especially Bionix.

I have Bionix now and cant get either to work. I installed the Bloater and then installed wifi calling but it just says "enabling" and never connects. Bluetooth connects to my car but goes in and out. I dont have enough posts under my belt to post in the dev forums to ask them either :\

Thanks, I'll check it out! I really like Bionix but I need wifi calling since there is not reception at my house and I got spoiled with having the BT in my car

WiFi Calling definitely works, i had to use it for the first time last week, and it worked just fine. And i know bluetooth works, thats all i use. No one has never reported neither Wifi Calling or Bluetooth not working in Bionix Reloaded, maybe on Bionix 3 it wouldn't work, i know for a fact they work on Bionix Reloaded. I wouldn't have release it if they didn't.

Should I try a re-flash then? I REALLY like it but need those two features. Also, whats the weather app in the screens?

You can try a re-flash, maybe that would help, make sure to wipe everything. But if your tried Bionix, Tsugi, and Phoenix Blood, and Bluetooth doesn't work on none of them, it may be a hardware issue. I'm not saying it is, but it may. You can try Weapon-G2x and see if bt works, if it doesn't then it could be hardware. The kernel shouldn't matter, nobody has never reported a bug like this in my rom, and i haven't seen it in the Tsugi. Not so sure about Phoenix but i'm sure it works fine. Also, the weather app in the screens is the LG Weather & Clock widget, only works with the LG Home launcher (both are included in the rom).

Thanks man! Gonna try a re-flash and cross my fingers. Its not that BT doesnt work on all of those ROMS, none of them have had working BT AND wifi calling. Theyve all got one or the other but yours has both (after bloating) so I had my hopes up. Hopefully the re-flash does the trick!
After a re-flash BT force closes when i try to pair it and wifi calling says "not currently registered on the tmo network. would you like to register to enable wifi calling?" when i click register it just exits the program. when i reopen it says enabling for a while then gives me a network error. I am connected to wifi and my browser is working fine, however this could be an issue with the network here. i work at a college and some stuff is locked down for security reasons

You can try another rom, I've never had or heard of that issue before. Try Weapon if you haven't already.

This is not the same as above roms.This rom should be smoother and more stable.It has ram tweaks.You need to Wipe,it might do it for you but just to make sure wipe before flashing.sorry There shouldn't be any problems with the pri or prl mine was 1.7 and60662 before and after!visual voicemail doesnt work.Yahoo mail won't let you sign in,just use the internet.I"ve used this rom for about a week,it's stable enough to use everyday.

My PRI was the 1.7 before this an it is still 1.7 shouldnt be a problem

I may take alook at this one.
After I first got my PRI fixed I was in my original backup which was 1.5. Went to Damage1 and my PRI was still the same. Went to Damage2.0 and my PRI changed. Fixed again and went back to 1.5 then back to Damage and PRI was still at 1.7xxxx.So it didn't change in the ROM that was suppose to mess it up in but changed after I switched ROMs. Anyways...I'm not sure why people are worried. Just install new ROM and update profile and PRL. See if it works. If not then do the fix in the current ROM.
Has anyone tried wired or wireless tether on this ROM yet?

Is anyone else having issues with PDANet dropping connection (with no error messages) periodically when on a 2.1 ROM? Mine appears to cut out about once every 20 mins, but always reconnects with no problems if I disconnect, diable USB tether, re-enable USB tether, reconnect.
Seems strange, but before I report an issue to PDANet, I wanted to check to see if it's a unique problem to 2.1 ROMs.
I'm on Fresh 2.0d, and I'm using the full, paid version of PDANet.
My PDAnet has always done this. On for a few minutes, then you have to reconnect to go to another page.
the sprint leak 2.1 allows mns. why not just use that?

My understanding is that is only true with certain PRIs and/or certain ROMs.
I do not believe mns is working with Fresh2.0d and several of the other 2.1 ROMs...if it is, I'd love to hear that, too!

You are correct about it needing a certain PRI, I'm using PRI 2.11 and using MNS tethering right now on Fresh2.0D, works perfect! I also confirmed it works with Damage2.0.7.

I tried multiple (atleast 5) hacked skype apps on my sensation, But i'm still unable to video
The video turns on when i'm calling someone but when they answer it turns off. And it wont allow me to turn the camera back on.
All the hacked skype apps I have tried have been confirmed by multiple people.
Please help I need it to work by tonight I leave for a trip tomorrow.

curious about this as well, i only use my data, and if thats the case, then that solves a few problems

I've actually had similar issues with the numerous Skype APKs floating around out there. For some reason, it only works on some connections and I can't confidently say that there's a clear pattern.
When I try to establish a videocall to my girlfriend's iPhone, it works just fine on WiFi or 4G. However, it gives the same error that you describe when I try to call from my phone to her MacBook.
Oddly enough, when I tested out a videocall between my account and a dummy account on any of my computers, it works just fine on WiFi or 4G.
It's pretty strange.
For those in this thread who have no problems videocalling, would you mind sharing what sorts of use cases have worked for you (i.e. Phone to phone on WiFi, on 4G, phone to computer on WiFi, on 4G)?

I used phone to computer video calling over a 3G network, worked great apart from disconnecting every minute or so. Haven't tried it with wifi yet

My guess is that most jb Rom's have Wi-Fi hotspot/tethering capabilities. I can confirm that the one I have (Superlite CM10) works as I used it this past weekend.

YW. I went through three different roms, including earlier versions of Superlite. The new version (7.0) has been really stable for me. I can go a week without a crash. The only thing not working at the moment are specific retail apps (Starbucks and Groupon).

I used CWM and followed the OP's exact steps. As he stated, you can download any missing Google apps from the Playstore. If you are wondering, I installed "exchange" because I need it for my job.

What part of tethering exactly isn't working for you? I've got an interesting case that I'm trying to resolve. Tethering works fine for me on 3G & HSPA , but as soon as I get an LTE signal my tethered devices lose connectivity, though the phone itself is still good. I tried one of the earliest nightlies and I just tried the stable release, same story. I've flashed every radio I can find recommended for the skyrocket and CM10. Sadly I have to use tethering daily for work so I've had to roll back to CM9.
Tethering is working fine on CM10 nightlies and stable with regular or 4.2 gapps.

I've tried radios but I really don't think that's the case since LTE works great, and even while a device is not functioning while connected to the hotspot, the phone itself still maintains a good fast internet connection. It sounds like it's a software problem all the way in my limited understanding of things. The funny thing is too that the devices connected to the hotspot will think they do have internet. As in, the browser will sit there trying to load a page until it times out. The moment I shut down tethering, the browser immediately recognizes the connection is lost and won't even try to load the site. Also bear in mind the moment I reinstall CM9 it all works perfectly.

I have the same problem as you..
My other devices will show the wifi connection sign but internet doesn't work..
I tried the superlite jb stated above and the hotspot worked without the gapp
so I installed gapp and didnt work afterwards.. I guess something must be in the way

Hey tmimaesk, yeah that's exactly what I've got. I've not tried superlite without gapps as you have, I expect the phone isn't practically functional without gapps installed, so I won't bother trying. I'm glad I'm not alone with this problem (sorry), but misery does love company! thankfully CM9 works great so it's not the end of the world, just a pain to not have the latest and greatest!

Yea for me I switched to paranoidandroid cm9 version and I love it!
Prob going to switch to cm10 when hotspot is working
Hotspot works just fine in every CM10 ROM I've ever tried (3 or 4 of them so far.) Most recently I've been using car vs. driver's CvD-Nibbles and it works like a champ. I was running wifi tether all day long for almost two weeks thanks to Hurricane Sandy taking out my cable connection.
Tether aside, Nibbles is a brilliant ROM and I recommend it to anyone looking to try something new.

CM-10.0.0, AT&T, Wi-Fi hotspot works on LTE and HSPA, open and WPA2-PSK.
Hmm I heard that LTE hotspot works if there's no encryption for the SSId
but mine never worked with encryption since I use my hotspot in public places
I dont know if theres anything different from AT&T and Rogers..
I use Rogers and may be Ill try the above roms tonight

Hey. I've got this problem with Bluetooth, where it just stops responding after a while. Suppose I just enabled Bluetooth (first time for this boot). Bluetooth will work for a while, but after some time (an hour or so?), it just stops working. It stops detecting new devices, devices already connected stop working, and disabling Bluetooth and trying to re-enable it gets stuck on "Turning on Bluetooth..." It's fixed after a reboot, but stops working again some time after enabling. This is pretty bad, since I use my Wiimote for gaming.
Can anybody reproduce this, and can anybody help? I don't think it matters, but the game I'm playing is Beach Buggy Blitz, and the Wiimote app I'm using is Wiimote Controller by C.C.P. [email protected] Thanks.

Now: my Bluetooth problem is even worse. It does connect with devices(and it stays till I turn it oof), but it refuses to transport data! I noticed when I wanted to use my dockstation. My friend was there, and I wanted to play some music with loud boxes. It started connecting, and said: ''connected''. But it refused to play music. My Phone would vibrate and say: 'can't play audio''.
I tried to connect with my firends Samsung Galxy SIII. Again, it would connect, but it didn't transfer data. I tried with my mom her phone, but no. No data transfer.
So yeah. I'm stuck here. In stock, bluetooth works fine, but on CM10 not. Count in the baseband and battery bug, and I'm losing my interest in this ROM! Let's hope CM11 will fix all of this. I have no solution whatsoever, and allthough my problem differs a bit, I also have a bluetooth problem!

Guess nobody tried Bluetooth when they said only video recording is bad, right?
I would switch to stock, as soon as I can make GravityBox to work on it. Till then... CM10 it is.

Yeah, I can live without Bluetooth, but it can be very annoying. And yes, I would describe Bluetooth failure as a large bug...

Why don't you just logcat it to find what the problem is?

If you built a rom how long would you test BT and on how many devices before you claimed it worked?
Get with the program for gods sake!
