I'm rooted

I'm just curious on what I would need to do in order to install ota updates?

Hi there. You need to use this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1228648
All custom ROMS have a custom recovery. You need a stock recovery. Not entirely sure the leaked test release of ICS your using would receive any OTA's.
Look, as soon as the official OTA comes out, we will have the RUU my guess is about an hour afterwards so it will take less than a day for ICS ROM's to be updated to the official release build so it would be just as easy to wait

I'm looking to install the latest OTA whenever its released, and my question is...
If I flash the OTA with S-OFF, would I be able to simply flash the root package (taken from S-OFF guide) afterward to "perm-root" the ROM?
Also, will flashing the OTA with S-OFF cause any conflicts, such as reverting to S-ON? Or possibly brick?
Thanks in advance

I would suggest waiting for a rooted OTA to be posted here in the forum just to be on the safe side.

If i update to the 3.12 firmware can I flash both gingerbread and 4.0 roms? Or would I have to downgrade to the original firmware?if so where can I find the original firmware?

Yes you will be able to flash both GB and ICS. If you flash the 3.24 firmware which is the newest you will only be able to use the newest sense 3.6 roms unless you roll back to 3.12 firmware.
AFAIK, you cannot run GB ROMS on the new firmware.

Not on 3.24 hboot 1.27 firmware but yes on 3.12 hboot 1.23
Sent From My Elegancia Powered ICS Rom....Pure Perfection!
Hello, I am s-on (by accident) and hboot 1.23 and i cant flash any new firmware so no ics for me. The only solution is for revolutionary to support it which it doesn't. Could ANYBODY please tell me if there are any plans whatsoever that revolutionary will be updated? Sorry is this offends the devs of it, i'm not purposefully asking for an ETA, i'm just desperate.
Why don't you use htcdev.com?

Because that doesn't give s-off it only unlocks the bootloader.
I'd like to know this too for when the update comes.

Why don't you just use an official Gingerbread RUU? It downgrades the bootloader to 1.18 on which you can use Revolutionary.
They won't... I am sure of this... They haven't got any reason to upgrade... They have s-offed yet so no more work for them here

I do think they'll add support for the new hboot when they can, especially since alot of sensations will upgrade ota or possibly come with the new hboot out of the box in the future.

We have an S-OFF 1.27.1100 hboot so that sort of proves that they are updating it doesn't it?

For some reason when I updated to the leaked ICS RUU I was still unlocked and S-off, whereas my girlfriends phone went back to being locked, though still S-off. Both with Hboot 1.27.0000. A bit off topic I know, but I can't figure out why...

Just flash any firmware package like mike1986's or baadnewz's ones from the respective threads and it will give you both the unlocked bootloader

My Sensation is upgraded to ICS via the official ota package from HTC, and "S-off" by using S-dev and rooted with CWM package installed. Is there any custom roms, I can install in it. Or do I have to wait, until Revolutionary can do a proper S-off.
