bad quality picture display - HTC Sensation

So i got a DSLR and wanted to put some pics on my phone when i found out that the display quality of the various gallery aps is very bad. This is especially the case for pictures with a natural gradient in it, like is showed in this post.
here i have some examples that i tried and made a screen shot of how it displayed it on my phone
so first the original pic (4 mb)

1.2 mb

original little less big

gallery app stock
quickpic
Fish bowl
Large picture viewer
Photoshop express
Just pictures
as wallpaper
the weird thing is that it shows it correctly as wallpaper, thus the picture should be able to look better on my phone,
At the moment i think justpictures shows it the best of all.
But still not nearly as the original picture is on my computer.
Does anyone has an solution for an better gallery app?

Contact Pictures?

What size do the contact pictures have to be?
In Outlook they are correct size, but every single one in Phone is cropped.
example, I want to add AMC Theatres.
this is what i made

in outlook it is not cropped.
and on the phone i get this
doesn't matter if i add the picture on the phone, or if i do it to outlook contact. every single time it gets cropped.
also tried 480x480, 480x640, picture in the phone always gets cropped.
I'm using the Energy Rom BTW
Hmm, not sure of the correct res, but i use S2V to add contact images, if i simply use the inbuilt way (through contacts) the images become very low quality - as it worked when i use S2V i never bothered looking further!
S2V is Here or you can grab it from AC's own site.

Photo Comparisons

I've taken 2 pictures; one with the phone back on and one without. This comparison should hopefully show how the glass on the back really washes out the pictures taken on the G2x. These are both taken from the stock Froyo camera.
And I keep the glass on the back relatively clean, in hopes that the photos I take will be less washed out.

I could be wrong but your second photo looks as if the camera was moving as you took the pic: a bit of blurring.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Yep sorry my hands shook a bit, but I'm just trying to show the color differences not the sharpness.

[APP][FREE][3.0+] Instant Photo Shot

I leave to you the last application that I've done. It's an application that makes pictures really fast, without having to open the camera application (it takes time to open). You simply touch the icon and make a photo with focus and flash in automatic mode. It's up to 3 times faster than the camera application preinstalled!

Camera 2 API Green squares problem

Hey guys since I've flashed my phone with the camera2api.zip I've noticed that I have some issues with taking photos in dark places, and you can see in the screenshots it seems to be some Green squares and one 'normal' colour frame un the upper right corner, and sometimes the photo has some strange flares with magenta colors with low light photos, and every time I need to use my front flash, it seems to not sync with the camera giving me awful photography results generally this problem happens when i take pictures with the WhatsApp Camera, but sometimes with other camera apps like Footej Camera. Hope someone know how to solve this!

Camera sucks at greenery / foliage pictures

Went on a hike in Brazil today and couldn't manage to take any decent photos the tree and other green stuff. It seems the contrast between the bright light and the dark green of the vegetation really screws with the AI, but even with the AI disabled, the pictures still looked like below. Is there a way take greenery photos closer to what the human eye would see, with the P30 Pro? Or is post-processing the only option for approaching realism?
With AI on:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Without AI:
I don't have a comparable shot with another phone, but here's a jungle pic shot with an iPhone XR. To me it looks a lot more vibrant and fresh.
Hello, have You try to change contrat color ? When You are in caméra, clic on the icon beside setting and try other mode like "leica vivid".
