I recently flash the liquid smooth rom. Within the Liquid settings under applications at the bottom it gives you an advanced messaging options. When i tap on the box to open i get a Sorry! The application Liquid Settings(process com.liquid settings) has stopped unexpectedly Please try again and the option to force close. Every time i try i get the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions?
have you checked that ROMs forums and asked there?
I thought you can't ask a question in any other forum but this one?

The new market updated on my phone yesterday. It force closes every time I use it and it takes about 4 opens to download anything. It also stalls other programs and then shows the force close error box.
I am rooted with EE4 debloted with Peanut Butter and Jelly Time. No other mods (except recovery of course).
Any ideas?
Did you try to clear data under settings/applications?
Yes. Did that more than once.
anyone find a fix for this, I'm on stock Rom and its doing the exact same thing to me. Frickin annoying
VERY sorry if there is already a thread on this, but a quick search couldn't find anything.
I'm relatively new to the android scene and this forum (bought a nexus s a few weeks ago) so take it easy on me i'm still learning. anyway I'm having a problem with ADW launcher. I've been playing around with it for the past few days, and i accidentally set the stock launcher as default. I have no clue how to get it back. I tried uninstalling the app and re installing it again, but the dialogue box that first came up (asking to set a default launcher) still didn't show up. I don't know if it matters, but its an i9020T running stock 4.0.3 ICS. I'm not sure what else to try, so thanks in advance for any help.
EDIT: i may as well ask another question while i've got this thread going. I updated to stock ICS not long after i got the phone and ever since the android market won't download anything over 3g (works fine over wifi, and i know the 3g connection is fine because browsing and other data works perfectly.)
thanks, mrjimyjohn
Open the menu and go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications and then find your current default launcher. Select it and find the "clear defaults" button (you may have to scroll down). Click that and then press the Home button. It'll ask you again what you want as your default launcher.
As for your market problem I can't help you, but I'm a little confused. You say you updated your Nexus S to have stock ICS, but that's what it comes with. It may be that you've installed a bad version, as there are lots of the out there currently.
I'd recommend asking about it in the thread where you got the update from.
thanks for the help, Archer, it worked perfectly.
My nexus s came with 2.3.4 gingerbread, and I got the stock OTA update from THIS THREAD and everything works fine other than the market. I'll ask about it in that thread too, but thanks for your help.
Hello everyone,
I installed the CM 7.2 based ROM from this thread [ROM][GB\ICS\JB][2012.09.04]Slim-CM7,CM9,CM10,AOKP.
It works fine but in about 2 months I experienced a weird behaviour.
When using the phone (it always happened using FB application but it could be just a coincidence) a message comes up and the all the running applications close.
From that point on, even after a reboot, every application I try to launch... closes immediately.
The only (that I know) way to exit this situation is to restore to default settings and so I have to reinstall everything.
Any suggestion?
Thanks

Nobody is working or developing on CM7 sources anymore. Switch to CM9 or CM10 or Slim Bean 3.1.
I recommend CM9 if you don't want random Force Closes, 'cuz it's yet the most stable ROM for our device.
CM9 installed!
Thanks for the tip and have a nice day.
I'm setting App Ops for applications such as Facebook, etc. and after a reboot or an extended period of time, the settings revert to default "all on". Maybe someone else has seen this problem or has an idea of how I can troubleshoot to see what is modifying the settings? In all my searches, I cannot find anything related to this problem, but I find a lot about App Ops not being in Kit Kat.
ROM is Liquid Smooth 2.37.
I tried posting to the LiquidSmooth thread, but I'm new... so... fail. Hoping this is more generalized than just this ROM.
Same problem here

I'm pretty sure it IS an issue with Liquid Smooth. I'm having the same issue. I've used it on other ROMs without issue. Even unchecking "show notifications" in App info doesn't survive a reboot. I'm on version 2.37 as well. Let me know if you figured anything out.
Unfortunately, I never found any fix. I am no longer on Liquid Smooth, but rather grudgingly went to a stock variant (CleanRom 8) to match my wife's stock ROM. At least it's CleanRom.
At least I know I wasn't going crazy. Thanks for the reply.
Hello all,
Been a long time lurker, figured it was time to join.
I'm having an issue with my AT&T G2. It is currently running the Sonic Open Kang 4.4.2 ROM. Before it was running the stock 4.4.2 build.
I've noticed this issue ever since I went to 4.4.2, my touch screen has been acting very flaky on the top portion. Half the time, I try to pull down notifications and it begins to pull down but then glitches back up. I'll have to swipe it 3-4 times to get it. Also, when installing an app, click "Install" on the app page doesn't register most of the time, I have to back out to the list of apps, hit the three dot icon next to it and click install that way. Also, click the top links on Google & other sites causes an issue sometime as well.
I'm thinking this is a 4.4.2 issue, but just wanted to confirm. I've searched around on Google and here but found nothing at all. I can always go back down to 4.2.2 to verify but wanted to see if anyone has had these issues before, or if there are suggestions.
I was also thinking that it could be my screen protector, but I had no issues previously and it's still relatively new.
Thanks in advance!

have you dropped your phone recently? does everything display properly?.. try opening quick memo and drawing over the screen
Sonic Open Kang is an AOSP type ROM so he won't have quick memo to test. Install a stock ROM and see if it makes a difference. Also how does the screen respond in your custom recovery (TWRP, PhilZ, etc)? If it does it in recovery, it could be hardware or your screen protector. If it works fine in recovery, it's a ROM problem.
