Skyrocket and tmo gs2 yes. The att gs2 has a different (better) cpu/gpu

I bought one from AT&T last week and it still had Froyo on it, with no OTA udates available. Was sorta surprised that it didn't have GB, but already rooted it, so just gotta find a good ROM now.

Rogers is a Canadian carrier. Theirs launched with gingerbread. It's the reason we have our current GB ROMs. It's also why our HDMI doesn't work on GB, because their Infuse didn't come with HDMI support.

Pretty much explains it, but our 2.2 is better then their stock 2.3. Cant wait till att releases their gingerbread.

the only difference is the USA ATT version you get more junk apps added
while the Rogers version you get a fewer junk app included
but everything else OS, hardware, boot, is the same

yes you might need to flash a rogers kernel to be safe either the stock or Da G's tweaked kernel.

yes, it works
and backwards as well, i727 can flash i727R Kernels / ROMs as well
I have a i727r on rogers and I can comfirm you can use any AT&T i727 rom/kernel on the phone though I think the AT&T developers should start using the rogers rom since it has more open features + CIQ is not on it (dont know fully)

rogers is a canadian carrier att is us carrier
Rogers Infuse comes with 2.3.3 stock, has GB bootloaders by default. However, the 2.3.3 stock rom has no HDMI-out.
AT&T Infuse comes with 2.2 Stock, and has HDMI-out. It can be upgraded to 2.3.6 Stock, which gives the phone GB bootloaders.
Hardware-wise i believe there are no differences between them, however the Rogers infuse benefits from having no carrier logos on the phone at all

basically there is no such a significant difference between AT&T and rogers infuse. all AT&T roms work perfectly on my rogers infuse ^^

Make the upgrade and have had a problem with rebooting when I try to use headphone jack. Anyone else have a solution?
Hello i just purchased the Samsung Galaxy SII LTE from Rogers, and the code is SGH - I727R, assuming R is for rogers.
Is this the exact same phone as the Skyrocket, and the R is just for rogers, meaning all the rooting information and roms for the skyrocket, will work for my phone as well?
