Hi all,
I've recently switched to a Sensation from the Desire HD. I'm running Virtuous Inquisition 3.0 Senseless and have to say I'm loving ICS.
I came from using a Desire HD and play a lot of games with my PS3 controller and the Sixaxis software. I never had any problems before.
I've installed this on my Sensation but whenever I try to connect I get the following message
"Bluetooth will be disabled while using Sixaxis controller. Continue?"
My only options are yes or no. If I select Yes then Bluetooth switches off so I cannot find my bluetooth address or use the programme. If I say no then it stops the programme running.
I know stock HTC roms are not compatible with this app due to their bluetooth restrictions. Usually they just don't find the address though with this app. I've not had this message before. I'm running the Senseless version of virtuous Inquisition but I'm not sure if that matters?
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
That message is normal. It just means that the app will take control of bluetooth, thus warning you that any connected bluetooth devices may be disconnected. If you get a failed to configure bluetooth message, then the firmware is not supported.
Thanks for your help. Turned out to be the rom. I'm back playing happily now.

Don't know about two, as I've never tried it, but, I know that normally on STOCK and LBC you can make your device a wireless Hot spot where by the a computer can then use the phone (probving you have fast H/or 3g mobile data access) as a wifi access point and access the interweb through it!!
The information I have from HTC states that, for the Desire S, up to 8 devices are supposedly able to connect to your phone via the Portable Hotspot option... never put it to the test, though!
Hi
I own a HTC Snap phone, running WM6.5 and without a touch screen, which seems to be a lethal combination (for example, the XDA facebook app will not work on my phone).
When using a windows XP laptop I simply connect the phone via USB and use it as a modem, but I assume this won't work on the Android tablet.
So I'm trying to find a way to share my 3G connection to my Android 3.2 tablet.
The default ICS app is useless - the tablet doesn't see the phone either when sharing through WIFI (I understand Android will not recognize ad-hoc wifi connections) or when using BT.
I tried installing the trial of wmwifirouter with the same results.
I tried the XDA ICS app (I think it was a port of the HTC app) and couldn't get it to run, probably because it was expecting a touch screen input.
Is there any way to solve my dilema without replacing my phone?
Thanks
There used to be an app for WM called wifi hotspot. If you could install it on your phone, the tablet would connect to it via wi-fi.

I'm 90% sure that's the one I tried that didn't work because my phone has a keyboard and no touch, but I'll try it again.
Yep, it's not working on the HTC snap.

I've found threads pertaining to wii remote troubleshooting but not specifically the Motorola ATRIX 2. I've used multiple apps, and the closest I've come to connecting is with bluez ime. It located my wiimote, but connection was refused. Is my phone not capable of wii remote connectivity?

WiimoteController
Hi
I use WiimoteController in connection with various emulators and have no problems with it at all
Just make sure to follow the steps indicated by the app.
Would possibly my rom affect the ability to connect to the wii controller? I'm rooted, running SC V5. I've tried holding 1&2 as well as the sync button to make it discoverable to wiimote controller, but it says "Found 0 wiimotes." I'm soooo sad...

Hi,
I'm wondering if I'll be able to use the Sixaxis Controller app with the One S. Anyone know if this works?
It says it requires root access and even then it depends on the kernel. Is there a stock rom out there that has root?
Mine is supposed to be delivered today.
Thanks,
~Eric
Don't know about One S rooting, but try the compatibility test before buying.
I sent this from my Motorola Atrix on MOTOBLURâ„¢.
I already bought it. Works like a charm on my G2 with CM7
I actually tried this recently. Bumping this older post to see if anyone has any experience with this on the boards, dying for help.
Ok, so step 1, installed compatibility checker, test confirmed compatibility
step 2, installed pair tool on pc and set master address of ps3 controller to local bt address on htc one s
step 3 ran sixaxis app, start, searching for devices...
pres ps button on controller, no worky, lol.
No flashing pair lights or anything. Only flashes all four lights when connected to usb to pc.
