send from gt-i9003 using android keyboard
i install the last version of mobile odin already but keep saying again device not suported
I think the FlashKernel is built from a Gingerbread source. It would not work since you are on Froyo. I may be wrong on this though.

I second that...
although i dont know about gingerbread source or froyo source but that is the last thing i can think of.... try flashing xxkpq and see if it detects your device then

Hi Joker9, i've just tried with my i9003L and it didn't work also. Are you using UBKB1 (Froyo)? I am using UBPKD (Ginger) and maybe the problem is that with this firmware the phone display that it is a i9003L instead of a i9003.
There are no diferences bettwen those models, but maybe Mobile Odin just see that there is no i9003 and yes an i9003L.
The best would be to ask Chainfire.
EDIT: it is done. I asked Chainfire:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22282988&postcount=807
EDIT2: Yes, that was the problem. Chainfire is working in it. If you want Mobile Odin right now, you have to change your firmware. If it is identified like a GT-i9003 it won't work. With other firmware like XXKB3, XXKPH, XXKPQ, etc. it will display i9003 and will work.
hi Uan_ar yes i using the UBKB1 thanks for asking chainfire so thats the problem....well i must wait for a new update of mobile odin for use in my i9003 or install other firmware thank you!
Done!
Chainfire did it again!

guau thanks man! maybe chainfire do.that because you was questing about the i9003l thank you so much....now i need a one more little favor for you what is the best kernel for this phone i really new in this of kernels and odin a kies i got longt time ago a sony xperia x8 and was rooted and install custom roms was easy but the galaxy i9003 is very different so for that i asking you
About that subject. I don't know if they work in Froyo. I tried TeamUtterChaos kernel (v4, v7 and v8) on XXKPQ and was all fine. Now i am in UBKPD and with kernel Vurrut v5, and it's ok too. Those are Gingerbread versions.
To try with froyo... be carefull and do a backup.
Before all, make a backup of the efs folder.
c u.
By the way.... chainfire did it because with your post we detect the problem and gave him all the tools he needed to fix it

An official ROM is an official ROM regardless of what you use to flash it.

You should search before posting! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1291258
So i've been trying to flash my device to this version of ICS 4.0.4 but i've been having quite a lot of problems.
I started with UBKB1 - froyo and tried going straight to ICS 4.0.4. It didnt work, i installed a version of UBKB1 for clockwork recovery but when i tried to flash, it kept saying E:Error in /sdcard/"nameofthefile" (Status 7).
So i tried going to UBKPE - Gingerbread and try from there, but it keeps telling me the same thing.
I read some on the forum and such, and i read that its about the CWM version im currently using. Thing is i cant find a version for the UBKPE and update enough to be able to flash ICS 4.0.4 from RemICS.
Can anyone give me some help? Either telling me what to do, or being kind and upload the CWM used for Samsung Galaxy S I9003L to be able to upgrade my firmware?
Thanks in advanced!
Flash gb via Odin. Then flash cf root. Then flash ics
Cheers

Please make sure that you have the International I9003 model - I believe you have I9003L - which means a Latin America one?
I am not quite sure that our ROMS will fit for your version.

This is an official release not a leaked ROM as the buggy XXLQ5, if you look at Sammobile the fault GS2 ROM is marked with red alert :

Do they not release updates for the same device in every country at once, or is it all staggered?
when the rOOT?
There are 2 files in zip. Where do I put them in odin (I've done it via odin before on phones but there were 4 files)?
just dropping by to say WooooHooo!
and also Jelly Bean AOSP just released as well.
now all we need source code from Samsung.
6200L
will it work also on 6200L?
i hope the root file will come soon. i already try this ROM.
and i hope custom ROM like aorth's will be developed more for better battery and performance.

This is only for Astrian Tabs, but this works fine on my Brazilian P6200L...xD
When I got my Tab 7 Plus, it cames with th 3.2 Firmware. After a while I upgraded it to 4.0.3 official leak. Now When I try to flash the official 4.1.2, I get the "Complete(Write) operation failed" error.
I tried going back to 4.0.3 but nada. Tried some other country firmwares. Nothing. Flashing a 3.2 did work. Then i tried to go from 3.2 to 4.1.2, and can't either
Help.
Cheers,
Paul
I dont think the JB was made for 6200L.
Could be why. now you may need a .pit file.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus P6200 Jelly Bean Upgrade Problem
For starters, I just registered and this is my first post on this forum.
Now to my problem. I am trying to update my Samsung Galaxy Tab P6200 from ICS 4.0.4 to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (Official Version-Austria #P6200XXMC3) through Odin 3.07.
I am able to get to download mode but the installation process freezes specifically at "recovery.img" stage (screenshot below);

Any help or reference to another post that the problem was fixed would be of great help.

Thanks for the idea.
After posting the problem yesterday, I continued searching for a solution and fiddling with it.
I recalled that on the first update attempt, I had checked "repartition" and used a PIT file from an unspecified Samsung tablet. It then occurred to me that the PIT file could be the issue so I downloaded a new one specifically for P6200 from droiddevelopers.com (cannot post the link due to forum rules)
Did it work? YES, PROBLEM SOLVED! I am now running official Jelly Bean.
Moral of the story is NEVER check "repartition" unless you have the specific PIT file for your device. If you still prefer repartitioning with each update, please download the correct PIT file from the above link.
