Please, i really need help, my phone doesnt have fastboot mode, pressed all buttons, and the 3 one of BACK, MENU and HOME are touchscreen.
I really need, flashed from terminal then no Recovery, No System and No Fastboot mode.
PLEAAASEE..
What phone??
MoPhoACTV Initiative
Android A9800
Its new :/
I kill it, than now dont have fastboot mode, pressed all buttons :X
By pressing all the buttons, do you mean you literally pressed them all at the same time and didn't get fastboot or that you tried the actual buttons that have to be pressed to get into fastboot?
If you haven't already, try
pulling the battery and putting it back in to make sure the phone is off,
Then Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button and the POWER Buttons atvrhe same time,
As soon as something shows on the screen, RELEASE the POWER button while STILL HOLDING the VOLUME DOWN button
It SHOULD theoretically go to the bootloader screen, release volume down button.
Then maybe give the option to start fastboot mode.
Let us know If it helps??
MoPhoACTV Initiative
No bootloader, cause i flashed a file through TERMINAL Emulator, by flash_image file
Than when i restart the phone no restart Always Android Logo. Without bootloader, neither recovery mode, neither fastboot
Any way to press the touchscreen buttons? :X

I have a problem whit my Raphael.
When I try to boot doesn't appers nothing...
I push Power + vol down + soft reset (soft reset try to hold down and just press) but the tricol screen doesn't appears!
Is there another way to send the phone in boot loader, maybe another combination of button or a cab file?
thanks so much
You shouldn't need the power button; you can always try holding volume down and then using a soft reset application. Or, shut the phone down (long press power and ok; pull the battery then put it back in; use xda shutdown...., there are many methods), then hold volume down and press power. It should go straight to bootloader. Make sure you hold volume down until the tricolor screen appears.
If none of that works, do a hard reset, then go into bootloader.
Thanx for your suggestions, but my phone doesn't load anyway...
I suppose is vol down button that not respons, maybe is broke, I don't know...
there's no a cab file for emulate the bootloader screen?
I think the only other way to get into bootloader is to do it over usb with an ruu (rom upgrader). I almost never flash that way, and couldn't really tell you how it works. Theres a file in the ruu's called enterbootloader.exe-I guess it sends the device into bootloader. There are some threads out there on hacking ruu's, you could try looking them up.
It sounds like your vol down button is effed. So, you can't hard reset, either?
Tnx, I solve the problem like you described.
I launched the RUU.exe and phone goes into bootloader automatically
Thanks for your suggestions
i'm not flash any rom/kernel etc.
i'm only play with power and volume button.

can you reboot the device? if yes does it stuck on reboot without pressing buttons?
if you cant turn of the device with the power button just press power + vol up at the same time for 3 sec
now it should turn off
this may help you
Here is how I was able to get into different booting modes.
1. Power down
2. Power up and wait for the M sign to show up
3. Press volume down, nvFlash will display, press volume down again, RSD mode will display, press volume down again, fastboot mode will display.
4. Press volume up to select fastboot
5. Go ahead and flash the kernel that you like to restore
can you change the booting mode by pressing vol down?

thanks for your quick response..
yes,i can reboot/powerr off by power+vol UP.
but if only press power button to turn off ,nothing happens.
EDIT:-try this method and no success.
I don't know if I got something wrong up there, but since you didn't flash anything and were just playing around with vol up/down, you should not have to flash anything...
What happens if you just reset your xoom by holding vol up + power for 3 seconds and after that just wait? Imo your xoom should just boot back into android and everything should be fine...
he donĀ“t has to flash something
i am not sure if he wasnt able to turn of the device... and reboot it or something else...
the points for flashing r optional - if he wants to change the kernel or something

Try holding Vol up + PWR for 3 seconds and release, you should see the Motorola logo.
Can you tell us what happened before the xoom went off, or if you have loaded a custom ROM some time ago.

Let the battery go all the way down. Then put it on charge and try to boot-up.
Can you get into fastboot mode? If so, you should be able to reboot into your OS.
So I did a factory reset, the tab rebooted to wipe the device, went to nvidia logo then screen went black, shuts off automatically and I can turn back on just for it to get right past the logo and shut off again, I've tried volume up with power and volume down and same thing happens. Sometimes the power won't even turn it back on for 5-10 minutes. Any suggestions?

Dumb question, but are you sure the battery is charged? I would leave it plugged in for awhile and try again. Then if it still is not booting try to enter download mode while connected to PC. Mine did something similar to this once when I did a factory reset as well. It only recovered after connecting USB to my PC.
I'm guessing you have custom recovery installed?
1. Download the factory image from NVIDIA website (specific to your device version),
2. Go into fastboot by pressing volume down and give a slight nudge to the power button (don't press until the logo comes up, just a quick nudge will do)
3. Unlock your bootloader using the instruction which can be found on this forum (if you have, skip this step) sorry I'm on mobile phone, so a bit hard to do a search for the link with small screen.
4. Unzip the recovery image zip file.
4. While still in fastboot, flash the recovery images using flash-all.bat contained in the unzipped folder.
You will lose your custom recovery and your root, but since you were gonna wipe your device anyway.. let me know if you're stuck somewhere.
I think i might have found fix....
Shut down the device with long press (8sec) Power button
Press and hold Vol down key
Press and release Power key
Device enters fastboot mode
Select Recovery mode option (using Vol up/down for navigation and power key to select)
Device enters recovery mode (after showing NVIDIA boot logo) with Android Robot screen.
Press and release Vol UP + Power button simultaneously
Then select wipe data/factory reset with Vol up/down key to navigate and power key to select
try this but be PATIENT AND wait for it to say erasing then i think ill be normal once its done also just wait with it on the "blank screen" we could have just got ahed of are selves and whent to conclusions and thought it was bricked
After trying to flash a TBO calendar/calculator inverted app I rebooted from recovery only to now be stuck in a bootloop. The only thing the phone will do is begin to reboot itself if I press all three buttons to "hard restart". (power+vol up+vol dwn). Tried using adb/fastboot to reboot into recovery or bootloader but I don't think that the phone is far enough into the boot process to be recognized by adb/fastboot because typing adb reboot-bootloader just returns "waiting on devices". I have also tried to use power+ vol dwn combo to reboot to bootloader. I have noticed that this only works for stock and other certain ROM's. It's a hit and miss as to why this occurs.
So right now I am stuck in a perpetual bootloop with no way to get to recovery or bootloader. I don't know of any other way of getting into recovery to restore a nanroid. Any one have a good suggestion? Please!
The combination of power + volume up (for like 10 or so seconds) will force a reboot. As SOON as it reboots you just need to hold volume down to get into bootloader.

I'm having the same exact problem, I figured out the volume up + power, turns the phone back on in a hardboot. But, exactly how long do you need to hold the volume down button for once it's rebooting?? I just got a replacement phone on 9/24, my previous phone had no problem with this & had the option of fast boot in the settings. Just rebooting my phone takes FOREVER to turn on (or so it seems in comparison). Any idea how or why this is now? Is it due to an update, can I uninstall the update to go back to a fast start setting?? Thanks!!

When you hold the volume down button are you also holding the power button? You need to use volume up + power to restart. Then, when it restarts, immediately hold volume down without letting up on the power button. Needs to be volume down + power to boot into hboot. As for now long do you hold it, until it boots to hboot.
Thanks for the info...
Thanks for more details I'm pretty sure I did let up on the power button thinking it was keeping it from loading. I'll try this out now!!!
I can't get into recovery mode on my new LG G Flex 2. I've tried holding Volume Down + Power till the Logo appears, then releasing and holding again which just resets or shuts off the phone after a few more seconds, I've tried holding Volume Down + Power till Logo, then holding both Volume keys which does nothing. What does work is getting to the Hard Reset screen by holding Volume Down + Power till Logo, then releasing only Power button and holding it down again.
I've read that some things don't work on 5.1.1, but that shouldn't affect the recovery, right? As the phone isn't rooted, I can't use apps like Quick Boot either.
Help me!
I understand your frustration man, developing for this phone is a pain (to put it lightly). That being said do you have adb and fastboot installed (android SDK) on your computer? if so you should be able to open a command prompt and type
"adb reboot recovery" without the quote... and hit enter, and it should reboot into recovery. I cant guarantee you wont see an android laying down with a (!) in a triangle.... If that happens unplug your phone and keep pushing and holding different button combos to get it to reboot regularly again

I'll try that, thank you. But is there an explanation for why the normal way - using the hardware buttons - doesn't work? What could be wrong?
I did buy it "Used-Like New".

In may case works in the same way. With the button "combo" doesn't work. If you have root can get an app from store to do wipe, like system tuner.
