Is there any app, which turns something like a game mode on your android device on???
turns off all the unnecessary apps and doesnt let them turn back on, frees up max ram and dedicates all the cpu power to your game..
I have and ONDA VX610w tablet and asphalt 6HD sometimes lags a bit, sometimes doesnt... so Im looking for something like that....

You might want to check out tasker. You might be able to accomplish what you want with this app.

I was always of the impression that open apps on android don't use up power etc.So I have never had task killers on my phone or tablet but recently I have noticed after about half a day of the tablet being used on and off by me and the kids its slow down quite a lot but a reboot and its back to normal.so is it open apps causing this?

yes and no. A process may be slowing it down, but it might not have to do with apps. One way to check what apps are running is by going into settings, press applications and press the tab that says "running" and see what is there. If there is a process that is burning too much memory or processing power, then kill it (don't kill too many processes though because some are important for running the underlying os). And, if the app keeps slowing you down, then concider uninstalling it.
Still getting this problem after a couple of. Hours use the tablet is slowing down

Use Advanced task killer from the market. I usually just press the recent apps button (right of the home button) and close unwanted apps ... not sure its thats a feature of Revolver rom or not though.
Android does use apps better than windows etc but if they have been ran they still resrve memory (not so much CPU) but sometims this can mount up enough to slow your device down.
For the portable gaming device fast boot is a must.
I guess sleep mode will drain the battery anyway and pretty fast...
Power off/on take the time.
There is no hibernate mode like on PSP?
Also, can I put my shield to its case when it's in sleep mode?
Thanks

I've tested sleep mode once
Full battery, with lid closed and nothing running, will survive for almost 2-1/2 days.
Music playing with lid closed is just over 30 hours
Bunch of apps running in background and in sleep will be just under 20 hours
donno exactly what you are looking for because with native deep sleep (lid closed) I get about 11 days of occasional use as a tablet. all my apps run normally in the background (I mean I don t force close what I use; I use it normally and let it manage my RAM as it wants)... practically it doesn't drain anything as long as it is lid closed and with no app is hanged on my processor in the background (when it happens, I can see it with batterystats and a restart solves it -it's an OS, it's not perfect, but the iteration on the shield it;s pretty close )
normal gaming (my habits), watching TV series on the go, some GPS and some internet and I get 1-2 days... battery capacity and management are right on the shield..!
Hi
I wanted to discuss and find some solution for it. I have Huawei g610 phone with Android 4.2.1.
I have installed almost 50apps not more. I am quite selective for apps and keep only the ones i like and delete the rest. I have also installed "Clean Master" and keep cleaning the junk. I am not much into games as well, i have some installed like subway surfer, temple run etc. but i don't play it all the time. I am also battery saving person and don't allow the apps running in the background. I long-press the menu button and it shows all the apps running in background. I remove them from background running when not in use. I just keep SMS and Phone app running in background.
When i am using the phone either for any purpose, whether it be the internet-based apps like Skype or viber or whatsapp or the phone itself. When i use it more than 15min constantly the "clean master" gives a notification that device is heating up. I click for it's solution and it frees the memory a little bit. The thing i wanted to ask is, why my phone is heating up so much? is it normal? does it also happen with Samsung phones as well. I accept that Huawei is low priced phone with Quad core and 1GB RAM. Will my keeping use even if it keeps over-heating - damage the CPU in long run?
Please help me out in this regards.
Heyo everybody.
Just wanted to notice again what's the problem of my power consumption. On most (new) games with this "beast" my screen kinda blinks and gets the darker and starts lagging. Maybee it's the problem of Ram.
Mobile phone manager shows 2,3 avalaible of ram
Cpu x / cpu z etc. Shows 1,3 avalaible of ram.
And phone by itself says that it has 4gb ram capacity.
So it's just 30% avalaible of ram.
The phone is slow. What could i do for that?
Thanks.
It all depends on how your phone is setup.
Apps that connect automatically to net, auto updates, apps that automatically run at startup screen brightness etc etc and apps running at the time..

So what should i do?
So I disabled the game booster and game launcher, also currently trying to disable the game optimization service but can't.
The phone is experiencing a fps drop at least every 10 seconds or so when I am playing pubgm on the lowest graphic setting.
Does anyone else have this issue? CPU usage was never 100%. (and gpu usage is always below 15%) In fact, it pretty much stays around 50% all the time, so I don't really have a clue why it is having a stutter/lag every now and then.
Also, there seems to be some sort of input lag. Not sure if that is related to the issue above.

Maybe other apps are running in the background. Try to close all other apps. Disable any energy saving option. Have you installed latest firmware updates?
S21 Ultra should be able to run without any lags.
