I keep getting random reboots on my sensation its completely stock/unrooted. I use my phone normally texting/FB/Netflix/calls/Craigslist and from time to time it'll just reboot,I've check to see if any updates were available but there's none.

Yup that's pretty much the stock sensation... Had the same problem until I flashed a custom Rom... It's just so bloated....

This problem may also be caused by a rogue app that you installed recently. Uninstall the apps that you do not use and see if it still reboots at random. If that still happens, uninstall all apps then install them back one by one to identify the guilty app.
Had the same problem before, and saw a response on another forum. take sd card out, make a copy of it, format it using windows, then copy it all back. That worked for me, no more random reboots...
I think I know to what kind of reboots the op is referring to. It doesn't reboot constantly, but like once a week it will reboot. Is not often but when it happens it is annoying.

Has anyone had luck running a Sense 3.5 ROM on Boot Manager? I can use it with Sense 3.0, MIUI, and CM7, but get horrible lag with 3.5. Have tried RCMix and InsertCoin.

anybody? or is it my phone/copy of boot manager?
Have you tried resetting the phone after you install the ROM?

Yeah, but it doesn't help much. Time seems the best, but after two hours it is still laggy to the point of useless and I need my phone. How long does it take for a 3.5 to settle in usually?

Try changing the setting in SD Booster to 2048.
Its one of the options in the main menu in Boot Manager.

Still no luck. Also tried re-zipaligning and fixing permissions. Time is still the only thing that seems to work, but I lose my advantage on reboots. Tried increasing dalvik but nothing.
I'm thinking these Sense 3.5's are too intense for Boot Manager

My daughter just updated her sensation xe and now every time we restart the phone it goes thru a software updating thing.
She only has wifi and has it on att in the usa.

Didn't get my ICS yet.. I'm on T-mo....
But, something does not feel right here..
Since it updated, it has to say "Your phone is upto date" When you press check for HTC update.
Otherwise you have to elaborate on your statement... Hope that people with updated phones will leave some info.
No..no.. It can't be right........
It does say software is up to date. Just when restarting it was saying software is being optimized every restart. Factory reset it and its not doing it anymore.

Yes when you do a factory reset it won't do it since you don't have any apps anymore, but install your programs and it will do the "optimized" thing again. Even the Samsung Nexus does this, I already researched on this since it was driving me crazy too after updating to ICS. It is normal behavior for ICS. Try searching Google or the Nexus section of the forum.
The Optimizing Applications dialog you are seeing is Android creating the Dalvik-cache for the device. It is, as it implies, an optimization for your applications, so they run more efficiently on your device's specific Dalvik Runtime Virtual Machine. There is nothing wrong with it, and it is supposed to happen. The only reason you never see it in older versions of Android is because it is hidden from the user. The boot up just takes longer, but it is doing the exact same thing behind the scenes. Every time system files are changed, the Dalvik-cache for those changed programs must be reinitialized.
Yes thank you. Its doing it every boot.

I wanted to see if anyone else was having these issues.
I got runnydroid V5.1 for the inspire last night and tried it out and its a good rom but has a couple things that if fixed i would go back to it.
Issue 1: I noticed that i turned on my phone and the time was running great. but after my class i took my phone out of standby and it automatically changed to military time which was very wierd!
Issues 2: I notice some graphic glitches when i shut down my phone or the sense part would be lagging alot.
I did a full wipe before V5.0 and flashed 5.1 over it so is anyone else having this issue? And did i do something wrong when flashing?
***HTC Inspire Currently with Android Revolution HD 7.0.3 S3.5***
Probably just a bug in the rom, is your phone overclocked? That may be why its glitching...oc to high

I actually never messed with the cpu settings but i did come from android revolution which has oc on it so that might be it. One of the problems would be when i shut down my phone it would say shutting down then show the home screen then shut off so.
Probably a bug, flash another rom and see if the same problems happen

Hi everyone like the title says the WiFi I use just stops after couple of hours. It shows the WiFi bar and stuff but I won't work. So I always have to restart my phone to make it work again. Do u think its my modem or my phone?

Having the same issue, WiFi will not disconnect when I leave my house, etc. I have to go in and turn it off so mobile data will kick in. Also issues with Bluetooth randomly disconnecting. Talked to TMO, they said 1.84 update will fix it. Have 1.84 now and it fixed Bluetooth but WiFi still having issues. Going to call TMO and try new hardware...

Just follow the toolkit directions
I talked to TMO on Friday, the guy who seemed to know what he was talking about, said the WiFi and Bluetooth issues are definitely software (firmware) issues and not physical. He said 1.84 should fix the issue. He also made a good point, if you want a replacement phone they could send you a refurbished phone and you would give up your new one. I ran the 1.84 RUU then loaded Axiom on top and haven't had any issues so far.
ohh ok thanks . How do I update the software

It's the kernel. Sometimes it happens to me, sometimes it doesn't. I've been hopping back and forth between this and another rom. Lucky this time its not doing it.
