I hope that I'm not posting redundant information, but when I searched for this myself, I didn't find any threads about it specifically for Wizard WM6 users.

FYI: I'm using the T-Mobile Unlimited BB Plan, if you are using the proxy workaround, I don't know if this will work for you.
We (Tweakker) have launched an Android application that will help users worldwide set up their internet (APN) settings.. We hope this forum could be interested in testing this new application. Even though your internet is working on your phone you can still try the app and help us improve it. For more details on the application and to download download it directly from the Android market.. just search for Tweakker.
Our mission is to solve the internet settings problems that users experience once and for all.
We will be following this thread to get feedback and provide support to any that run into problems.

Just being the devils advocate here..
How does the application attain the end objective? A person would need this app the most at a time when their phone is not able to connect to the internet due to an APN issue. At such a time how will the user connect to the market to download this app?
Latching to a WiFi connection is not possible at all times.
I recommend that you release the app's apk that the user can download and keep handy.
Hi delltech
Good point. However everyone downloading the app has access to wifi - they can access the Android Market.. therefor the use-case has been designed around this premise. This enables us to constantly update the database that the application uses.
We are thinking about other setups and value this feedback!!
Alternative distribution channel, apart from Market, can also be included at a later stage.
Any more feedback on the functioning of the app, delltech. others?
Best regards

Although the app is located in the market, on my current phone, the Motorola Photon 4G world phone, the market refuses to let me pay for and download the app. Is there a way to request a certain Photon be added to your list of models so that the market recognize the phone.
Thanks
hey guys i have heard that apphub can register 3 devices in one account...so i was thinking that if we connect a user who have an apphub account with a user who dose not have...by using internet ..so that other users can also register their devices....
Guys please tell me if this is possible????
It would be a gr8 help to many users...especially to omnia w users...
In order to register a device to get it unlocked, it must be physically present at the account owner's computer. It has to be connected via USB to the computer, and a program at the computer is run to register it.
So I suppose, if people are trusting enough to send their phones to others, then its possible. Otherwise, not gonna work.
so i guess its a yes....but if we connect the pcs via a software which would even help us to share proxy ports, usb ports, etc we may able to do it without the risk...
Guys plz need your support...
Well, you're not going to be able to do it *without* risk; I don't know of any program that would allow that level of remote connection without exposing one computer or the other to attack. The level of risk may be acceptable, though.
Side note: not everybody has unlocks to spare; some of us have multiple phones or have family / friends who needed unlocked too. That said, if there's a way to do it right, the idea certainly has merit!

... but not on XDA, my friend
I really dont know now if this is true but when i was googling i got the information that u can also remove the device if dont want it......so after u have registered the device u can simply remove the user....
plz correct me if m wrong!!!
That's right. But what is your point? No one will give you his Live account credentials. Also, this is a hoax, prohibited by Microsoft agreement. By the way, if you already ready to cheat - just open fake student's account and get your unlock for free (but I don't want to discuss it).
well i tried almost all the things on google and xda but none of it is working.....
anyways so i guess its a bit sad news to most of the omnia w users....
@sensboston, you misunderstood. The suggestion was for a way to remotely connect a Windows Phone to the computer of somebody who had an AppHub account. For example, if you could forward your device's USB connection to my PC via the Internet, I could then launch the Windows Phone Developer Registration tool on my PC, enter my credentials, and unlock your device (well, aside from running into the limit, that is).
I don't know of any such software that doesn't also give one ocmputer or the other way more access than I'd recomment allowing a stranger to have, but it does not (in theory) require handing one's credentials to anybody else. It may be against the ToS of AppHub, but then, you can believe that ChevronWP7 Unlocker was against somebody or other's ToS as well, and that didn't stop people. I routinely decompile apps, even though that's forbidden by mose EULAs. You get the point. We're not talking piracy here...
May be but I think OP is looking for free handset unlock, not for USB forwarding
hey guys , In my college there is wifi connection and its a open connection and when connected my phone prompts to sign in but i want to hack it and use the internet without loging in . I saw many things like droidvpn and ssh tunneling but i dont now how to use them and i want to hack in very badly.
please help me finding a way to hack into it from my mobile.
If the network requires you to use a password, please get one. Your university has security measures, like requiring people to put in passwords, for a reason.
I think perhaps you're confused as to the purpose of this website. The purpose of this website is not as tool in which to find ways to hack wifi networks or other illegal activities. This site was created for developers to share their work and for users to enjoy and appreciate their efforts. Now if your intent for starting an account here was to seek out unlawful ways in which to do things such as what you're asking for help to do in your OP, then this is the wrong place for you.
Please familiarize yourself with the rules.
Hi to everyone, this is my first post even if I've often read this beautiful forum. I have a question about hotspot capabilities in CyanogenMod 12 Lollipop (5.0.2). I had my S4(jftlexx) personal WPA protected hotspot (though with a very dummy password) and was sharing connection with my girlfriend, when suddenly looking at the phone I found out two devices where connected. As soon as I was aware I stopped the hotspot and now here's my question: if someone was able to deduct my hotspot password and connected to my personal hotspot, was it able to browse my personal file and eventually steal it?
I'm asking because I have on my phone very sensible data, that should remain on my own. I know that it's not directly possible without a dedicated app installed, like an FTP server (i have superbeam installed even I'm 100% sure its server was not running and sharing nothing), but someone with some knowledge and hacking intentions could be able to do this? thank you, and sorry, I'm a little in panic
We see you have also posted your question here http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/hotspot-security-t3100751
