This is the most stable ROM I have tested so far on my Spica, fast as ... and overall a really great ROM with everything I can wish for, doesnt even miss Froyo
WiFi, for me ,also seems a lot more stable and reliable.

Take a look here on how-to.
HOW TO
You need custom recovery that will allow you to flash the ZIP from SD-Card.
If you are not familiar it can be tricky getting it started, but definately not impossible.

i just put this
* Firmware I570EXXJCE (I570EXXJCE.zip ) with Odin Multi Downloader + spica_jc3.ops
in this case what i will use tu put OMG v1.22.12.10

this rom is based on -> xxjh1
i would not say i didnot use samdroid work
used his work like kernel.
i have tried to optimize them so that it can be usable on spica
i will start my own aosp rom (froyo maybe) just needed to check how do people react to my optimiations on optimized roms, many more things are been worked out if they work giving any better performance i will release an no wipe update
any other optimizations applied my result in multiple FC. sp. graphics optimiations. it might break some other things.
if testing u find better results please let people know abt it so that they can also enjoy what u have tested.

for file system i still recommend rfs for system (thats what i m using) u can test ext

First beta build done, it's still unusable but good news is it is booting

Audio fix (mp3 and flac working... other untested)
wifi fix (you need to disable "avoid poor connection" to get wifi working!)
mobile network, mobile network search...etc (still working but mobile internet untested)
camera fix (still have some problems... I think its because vsync globally need to be fixed)
sensors (some problems with button light... other untested)
lghts/notifications (working but untested)
gps compiled but untested
sd card is mounted now
I tested youtube and it not working, but must to say I added new mediaprofiles.xml and new file mediacodecs.xml inside etc folder so maybe new mediaprofiles cause youtube to stop working... if you have more time please try with mediaprofiles.xml from cm9 rom maybe youtube will working!

People, got it ... there is problem with hw/*liberty.so, you need to delete it from hw folder... I'm going on weekend and not have time to play with rom... see you after 7 days! This is a not complete rom, but I want to share it... maybe some one find a way for possible fixes. Screenshoots is on first post... will upload beta 1 now... enjoy beta 1 and happy testing

After aria get it ~stable.

Tried this beta, but unfortunately I got only Android boot animation screen.
All wiped before, of course.

Please read seccond post. You need to delete all files with name "liberty" in /system/lib/hw/ before install rom... there something mising in hardware libs, I will fix it when come from weekend

For me,
It boots quickly, and everything inside is buttery smooth. wifi and mobile networks isn't working for me. there is screen tearing when scrolling through menus. By no means a daily. But, really fun to see booting already. Keep up the great work!

I'll use this as soon as the networks work with it. Great to see it booted though.

Mine seemed extremely low on space too. Apps kept crashing or failing to load after I opened a couple.

I think the screen tearing issue is cause by vsync not working properly.
if vsync is not working properly the framerate will goes over 60fps and causes screen tearing.

Another day, another test on my dear D970
I used your Oma_RK29_CWM_6.0.2.8_touch and work fine~
still the same problem for me with my parameter, could you fix it please? i really like to have that 2.4go partition! I try to edit the file, but fail ;(
the d970 parameter is include in the attached file Aosp_OMA_D970.7z with some bad quality screenshoots :crying:
I flash with 120dpi, see pics to compare.

I flashed this new rom and it's awesome, I didn't think we could get 4.2.2 on our Cube U9gt2.

Yes I did, and it didn't work.
Reproductor MX is slow when you want to start a film.

any advice for devices that fail to pass the bootanimation.in my case alcatel T10?

Have noticed that the apps2sd is not permitted in this version. Reverted back to stock JB 4.1.1 and am getting higher antutu scores.

Hello, I tested yesterday to install this 4.2.2 in a Wolder Mitab Sunset and works fine, thank you Oma :good:
I installed it using boot and system from your rom, and all the rest stuff from the official 4.0 from Wolder, if I try to install with all your stuff, the tablet doesnt boot.
I have two problems:
- Rotation, in all of your versions, if I leave automatic rotation, the screen is 180º rotated. I will try to install CrewRKTablets_AOSP_4.2.2_Sensor_90_Degree_Fix.zip, but I think it will not work, because I remember that I try this in previous rom version.
- gmail app, in the gmail app, I see the messages in three triplicated columns...
An a question? Do this rom have o will have bluetooth (with a usb dungle) support?

hi all,
Have a Technaxx techtab 8" and i tried this Rom with kernel intex itab 12T065.
No camera, no rotation, and on storage Nand is not show, still with Root explorer can see both external sdcard and Nand.
Else, every thing ok, in my simple knowledge.

I used CM Flares Stock boot.img and modified it with Nokia x boot.img(i.e ramdisk contents)

You should also add in the thread that How to add Google account support, i.e. by copying GoogleLoginService, GoogleServicesFramework & Play Store apk to system/app & changing permissions or you should integrate it in next build or should make a flashable zip and post it.

I did not faced the problem you posted in quotes i.e. double tap.
One request, if you find bug fixes, updates, kindly make a simple flashable update zip instead of another build because I don't want to cost 200 MB for an update.
A question, where can I adjust/calibrate proximity sensor, I can't see option in display. Also typing *#*#36#*#* does not brings KTCIT. So can you provide compatible KTCIT apk & instructions for it.

I have Karbonn A9+. I have tried approx 10 custom ROMs but this is the best ever ROM. Cause it gives whole look change to device. Boots faster, apps run smooth, i.e. better RAM management.

No, I wasn't. I searched on Play Store for it but I found only one app by ZTE, it ran but force stopped when I tapped calibrate.
I searched for KTCIT and found one on 4shared and copied it in System/App, after reboot type *#*#36#*#*,but it didn't worked.
2 queries :
In this ROM sdcard0 if internal but I would like if it is sdcard1
Is there anyway to change the notification bar from fastlane to stock so can use other launchers.

Trebuchet crash on the last build. I didn't use trebuchet and dirty flash over the older build. Therefore I didn't find out. A new fixed build is uploadig now. Sorry for the troubles caused...

In this build, I adjust the heap memory settings to make the system more responsive. Carbon follows CM to 5.1.1_r18 (LVY48F) now. Enjoy!

In this build, I put the CPU and GPU O/C codes from M-kernel to the CM kernel. I've tested it with Trickster Mod and System Tuner. The max. freq. is set to 1.7G but my tab can only reach 1.6G. Anyway, I can get 22k in Antutu now. cheers!
PS. If you just want the kernel update, extract the boot.img from the zip and flash it in TWRP.

Get bored with RR and my hard drive was dead. I'm glad that someone has taken over so I have time to give a shot to my favorite CaronROM.

I can open it bus it does not charge the contents .. it strangely remains blank

Hi, there.
I´m running this ROM on System ext4 and cache/data on f2fs. It´s not all f2fs but i´ve read in various forums that the merits of running system on f2fs are doubtful anyway.
The only problem i´m having so far is, settings crash whenever i try to access PIE. Anybody else with this glitch?

I have tried Trebuchet and Nova launcher. PIE (SlimPIE) works on both. May be conflict with other app. Further info. is required.

Problem solved
Hi Daniel,
thanks for Your quick reply, but i´ve only now come around to answering. I´ve found the problem. It seems there was some "leftovers" from the last ROM that got my install messed up. I ref-flashed the factory image of 5.1.1 and installed Your ROM after that and everything is smooth now.

i'm a bit late to the party here but just wanted to say this is easily the best rom i've used on my nexus. it's actually made it usuable again. only issue is battery life. lucky to get 24 hours, even in standby.

Battery draining like hell >.<. I spent 2 months to find out, but impossible.
