Hello all,
Just a quick question:
Is it safe to load CWM from RomManager? It offers to install the tmo 989 version for our 727.
Thanks in advance!
Its safe, for now Tmo version is all we have

Im a bit confused...
I have worked with so many HTC phones, rooting those and installing CM7.
Now I have to do the same with a Samsung Galaxy S 4G of my cousin.
So right now I rooted the phone using SuperOneClickRoot v2.1.1.
Now I don't find a way to install a good ROM. I see CM7 don't support this phone. I have installed ClockWorkMod and it looks really rare in this phone, It don't have the options to backup, restore y install a zip.
So I come here asking you guys if there is a form of getting Gingerbread to this phone and How I can do it?
Thanks!
How did you install cwm

I think I installed it using Rom Manager, but It dont installed.
I just want to know how I can install a gingerbread on this Galaxy S 4G
Rom manager does not work with sgs4g. Go to dev section and find the thread cwm final by krylon360. That is how to get cwm recovery working.

Ok so I am trying to use rom manager premium to try and do a nandroid or whatever it is called backup of my current rom. Every time I try and do it it tells me I need Clockworkmod recovery installed but I know I have it installed already, but anyone have a solution to this or even heard of this happening?

also when I try to install it through the program it gives me a list of phones but the skyrocket is not on the list.

Yeah u have to choose tmobile galaxy s2.
But u should boot to cwm to do a nandroid. Forgrt rom manager its more trouble then good. Because it does not actually support the skyrocket. Just tmob galaxy s2 t989 which is very similar
thank you very much for the info, I ended up just going into cwm but was just curious if I could do it that way is all.

You can, but you have to use rom manager to flash cwm first from the actual rom manager app.
Hey,
So i rooted the tablet installed CWM and created a backup of the stock that all went fine....
when I tried to flash the new rom that went fine....
when I booted it went into a boot loop so i went back to recovery and restored my backup
but when that is booting it freezes and reboots.
any ideas how to fix this??
I'm having the exact same problem ! Thanks for asking.
Any ideas what it might be?

Hi all,
I have a full version of Rom Manager Premium. Also installed CWM touch 5.8.1.3.
The Rom Manager does not recognize CWM, and cannot boot into recovery from RM.
How can I fix this

Will it insll the newer versions of COM? Is this compatible with a galaxy s3?
5.8.1.3 is customized to work better w/our phones, dont upgrade or install cwm w/rom manager, you will have problems, do so at your own risk.
You can push menu and tell it that you already have it. Must have the paid version though, I think.
menu, manual flash override, follow on screen instructions.

Hi, I am rooted stock running great. I have TWRP but would like to have CWM. I used Droid Razr HD Utility to get the TWRP. My question is can I use the utility to get CWM? What happens to the TWRP? Thanks in advance for your help!!!

My question is can I use the utility to get CWM? I don't want to use TWRP, which is on my phone now.
I fastboot flash the image provided in the thread by epinter and Cwm worked fine but it wasn't touch so I flashed Twrp, Didn't use the utility so can't speak to that best of luck to you
