Hey,
So i rooted the tablet installed CWM and created a backup of the stock that all went fine....
when I tried to flash the new rom that went fine....
when I booted it went into a boot loop so i went back to recovery and restored my backup
but when that is booting it freezes and reboots.
any ideas how to fix this??
I'm having the exact same problem ! Thanks for asking.
Any ideas what it might be?

I had the same problem the other day. Wound up having to use nvflash to flash Prime 1.4 images. All set now running Prime 1.6
The only downside is it wipes all of the partitions clean =/

Have you tried flashing on the root boot.img again just start the pad wth power and vol+ ? you could try one of the unbrick rutines in the developer forum.
i have 101G(B80), and with latest rom update rooted it, then i installed clock recovery. and then [ROM] Android Revolution HD™ 2.1.1 with full wipe, and now device just freeze, no recovery.....no OS, just freeze with logo, with recovery same 'booting recovery image kernel' on recovery, i think no ways to recover and now))) it is only a damaged brick, well....may be it will help some one, or someone will sometime will find a solution (((
can you still get into recovery?

Now before you all go and say im stupid and should read other comments before making a post
All i want to know is is there a way of installing cwm without the use of a computer as ive already unlocked the bootloader and now cant go any further due to the need of fastboot.
Thanks for the comments.

PC is recommend because are in control, but you could use an app like ROM manager to install recovery.

I hear you. That's why I recommend a PC because you are in ultimate control, but ROM manager is supposed to be intelligent enough to know what you're running and install the proper recovery... supposed to be honestly I've installed it but not used it for that, so I can't speak from experience.

fastboot can brick a tablet, too.
Rom Manager bricks it, cause it has not the right CWM for tf300. Use gomanager and flash TWRP.
I agree any type of flashing can brick it. I just like the PC because I depend on myself instead of an app. I've not tried twrp app but have read good things about it.

Typically no success for me lol, goomanager cant find the recovery for my device?
Twrp was pulled from goo manager because of the 2 different versions - one for ics loader and one for jb loader. Since it may not be able to tell what boot loader you have twrp was pulled off.

You can go here. http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/97 and there is a method to install twrp using terminal. Follow the directions in the link.

As I can remember Rom Manager shows you the wrong kernel, so you shouldn't use it - I can just recommend you Fastboot, it's how I did it and it's pretty easy (just watch the Vid in the Hydro Jb-Rom )

i'm using fastboot to flash cwm then reboot and run the root.zip....as stated int he CWM development thread.
I'm able to instal CWM, but i cant backup...it freezes on backing up boot.
Then i give it a shoot to run the zip without backing up. it went well but when i reboot the sys it appears a message, before leaving CWM,: this device as lost root (yes for fix it or go back). neither options root the device
Anyone...this Q&A- sucks....Please Help
please
Anyone?

Note: ensure you flash proper recovery for your bootloader. You say JB so you should pick a JB recovery!
Good Luck!
