The groovy new Xperia live wallpaper most commonly seen on the Sony Xperia S has leaked.
There wallpaper, called Cosmic Flow, is available in six colours (Cosmic, Ruby, Gold, Amethyst, Silk and Emerald) and the wallpaper responds to touch.

Don't know about you, but it runs smoothly on mine, no issues at all.
I installed this yesterday and then checked a vid of the Xperia S on youtube and they're not actualy the same. Either Sony have changed it or it's a well made fake.
Links broken
A new link added :]
Doesn't work. It just force closes.
I have an r800at Xperia Play 4g. 2.3.3.
I feel like its because it's a US phone haha

It works for me & I must say it is pretty nice. Its simple, but good. I am bootloader unlocked, rooted, and on 2.3.4. My phone is american version R800at originally, but I think Im using UK .42 FW(R800i) right now. lol. Sorry everytime I flash my phone I kill a braincell & forget what FW i last flashed.

I had that problem too, then I overwrote reinstalled my UOT file with the battery percentage and the menus worked again, though this changed the statusbar/icons/lockscreen back to the stock play ones (though with the nice new phone/contacts/wallpapers/application backgrounds)
Excellent ! was looking for this for a while now.
Thanks uploader!

I'm not rooted, so that might be why haha.
I suspect this may require 2.3.4+
Crashes on my rooted R800x 2.3.3
Could someone port this to 2.3.3?
looks nice but it is not the exact cosmicflow. it keeps animating even if you're not swiping thru the homescreens. even at 1.5Ghz clocked Xperia Arc you would notice choppiness. i stick to the default static wallpaper and even at 768Mhz homescreen flicking is smooth (i use ADWLauncher EX).
but its a very good attempt thought, looks nice.
Thanks! Been asking for this. does this significantly reduce battery life?
Thanks

Hi I have made a new theme, nothing big or fancy, just a theme that is inspired from the original Xperia X1, have taken some of the original X1 backgrounds and put them as backgrounds in the menus, and have also ported the boot screen. its a build from the 2.1 eclair rom, (2.1.A.0.435) with Arc home screen and Arc lock screen. And a transparent drop down menu. I love the feel of this theme, it makes it feel like a true classic SE phone ^^
The dock bar is half transparent witch makes your background shine though a little ^^
Some screens (not theme wallpaper on the imgs) (The Default wallpaper is attached)
Try it if you like it ^^ (Don't forget to make a backup before you apply the theme)
Install though xRecovery
Download
I really like that transparent notification bar...and i would download this theme, but the colorful images are to much for me lol. Nice job tho.

where is the theme? it looks like a wallpaper - not more - sorry.
Hey thanks, the theme is nice, there is just one problem. When you are in mediascape and put the phone in landscape mode, the background wallpaper resets to the stock blue. Is it possible to fix this?

ouch that is so sad to hear
Thx for the theme!
Since you brought the X1 to my mind again, I just want to share something to smile about:
My retired X1 is running a stable Froyo build that's already faster than my X10 was on stock 1.6 and first unmodded stock 2.1 ROM Overclocked to 652Mhz instead of 600Mhz and a remarkable 24,5fps on Neocore (... without sound )! And everything working, Wifi, GPS, 3D Acceleration, great battery life
SE: 0 - XDA: ∞
edit: maybe your theme is running fine on the froyo version of my X1 - that would be pure awesomness!!! Just realized it's based on stock ROM, not on custom ROM
Are you sure it's just your screen? Did you try flashing?

Yeah, I don't even get to see the first SE logo, so I can't see anything :/ the screen lights up and everything, but is just all black. I found a replacement screen but it goes for like 100$ so, don't know if it's worth it in the end, will have to wait and see.
Might see if I can find a broken X10 to buy cheep or anything
Did you try THIS?
Worked for me when my x10 was like that...
is there a way that i don't change the lockscreen icons? because arc lockscreen is freaking laggy compared to x10 stock 2.1 one.. i don't know why but it is true.. and is it possible to port the retail arc launcher into this theme? thanks in advance! =]
[21/02/12][LWP][ICS] Galaxy S II live walllpaper with day/night & weather animations
I've attached the live wallpapers from SGS II. Just install them like a normal apk, but be warned that at 8mb and 11mb they are rather large.
They should work on any device with WVGA resolution, and have also been reported to work on Galaxy Tab. However, they may not work if your device has non-standard DPI settings.
Secret Wallpaper 1 is a beach scene and Secret Wallpaper 2 features windmills running peacefully along the country side. Both wallpapers use your GPS co-ordinates or coarse location to change the weather depicted in the scene, and to switch from day to night.
Smartkeitai editor CJ Lippstreu has made two videos showing the live wallpapers for SmartKeitai.com Please hit like on their video, and subscribe to their channel for more smartphone videos.

That's a battery icon based on flightspit (sp?)'s work on the desire forum that made its way to the Galaxy S i9000 forum. It involves a custom framework-res.apk modification, and your phone has to be rooted. What phone do you have?

Yeah, the wallpaper needs a bit of grunt to run properly. After all, it was designed for Galaxy S II which has a powerful A9 SoC

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Incorrect, my G2X has custom dpi of 180 not 240, it works just fine... So maybe it doesnt work on some phones, but not on all with custom DPI...
Works perfectly on HTC desire running cm 7.0.2
since i installed them ive noticed gps searchin for fix time to time

Thanks for these. Will they work on an Inc running SR4.0?
Both work on the Thunderbolt. But the beach scene suffers from slower frame rates on the animation of the water. The windmills look great.

If it doesn't work on ur device just post the screen res. and by work i mean images are too small or sumthing like that maybe we can work it out
works but when clock to play or etc Force to close
Loved the look and feel of this on my Optimus One. Wish it worked better - too many fc's and the widget doesn't work.

We all know how much we love the Xperia Play Games Launcher but they are a few things we hate such as;
Not all Games Display
We do not have it on CM7+
Until now!
The ICX Team is currently developing an application which is a custom made version of the Xperia Play launcher written from scratch which allows users to add/remove games and applications from the launcher.
It is also CM7 and CM9 compatible and will be included in all ICX ROM's.
The launcher is almost finished ready for release. The launcher will be available for all devices but will not run as correctly as it should as it was specifically designed for the Play screen resolution.
Here is a screenshot for a slight teaser for you

Yes but if you are using an SE ROM you have to disable the auto launch for the default Play Launcher
As i said in another thread this will be cool i like the concept every game in one place would like it maybe to have customizable backgrounds too does anyone agree?.
p.s. @deanboro will you 1 be able to controll every selection (back, next, settings, enter etc) with the pad and is there any thoughts on an home screen widget like ps port?

I do! I hate the ICS look. Needs more Playstation look
Great work
It would be handy if games were auto-added to the launcher if they had the Xperia Play optimised tag in their meta data, and if you could add shortcuts to emulator ROMs like you can on homescreens
Is it possible to make this launcher open when the gamepad slides open? Im guessing it would require root to do that.
Still this is an awesome concept, Ive been waiting for something like this for a long time.
great idea but...
i love the idea ,but will this be offered as a stand alone launcher as well or only included in icx rom ?

Yes you will be able to control every section with the DPAD.
I am also working on having the TouchPad control it by just a simple swipe to go to next page however as no ICS ports have working TouchPads yet this is seemingly difficult so on Tuesday when I get free time I will be going to CM7 to test the application with TouchPad support
Looking forward for this, good work man...

nice idea. looking for it.
Looking at the screenshot it looks nice. But I think it should be swipe across kinda like the original one.
And I feel it should only display XperiaPLAY optimized games since that was the point of it. The original didn't even display all optimized games.

Honestly, I didn't know it had to be moded to work on GB/ICS. I've searched the web a while ago and found version 1.0.0 (provided by you) and also 1.1.0, which has one or two extra options at 'Home Settings' (Image quality and Tails - for the animation.)
Here's a direct link, from some chinese site: http://count.liqucn.com/d.php?id=19...2/daolpu/moc.ncuqil.elif//:ptth&from_type=web
I was unable to attach the .apk, xda seems to be grumpy right now...

As for the widgets, i'm not sure if it is possible to use any widget from GB+.
weekender90, there are different versions of this launcher, as you said some of them don't need any mods in order to work, however some need to go through some changes . As for the lockscreen, yes, it would be awesome to have, but i belive that there would be too much file-rewriting and even then it may not work properly.
dontbelive, there aren't any widgets unfortunately, Sony Japan released the launcher only

Nice port and i like the lwp. But it seems that the lockscreen couldn't take over the slider default of stock roms and it always appears before the ambient lockscreen. So you get 2 lockscreens.
Another thing i noticed is that rebooting the phone will disable access to the drawer. Only happened though when i used the launcher as a default replacement.
But still it's visually good.
Ei dev, any chance that this couls become a home.apk replacement? And i can suggest, i think this will go perfectly if themed with your 4 corner mod. Just a suggestion. Grear work bro.

The lockscreen bug appears because the new lockscreen is a separate app that is been set to appear first when phone reboots or is being unlocked, so removing UXPlockscreen.apk from system apps may solve this problem.
For the second question i have no solutios as settings this launcher to default is something that i don't reccomend as it doesn't always loads its resources properly.
And finally, if you'rea talking about merging the two launchers it would be impossible as they have different API levels, it's a good idea though.
P.S. i'm still working on a 1.6 launcher if anyone interested
