I am hoping someone will be able to extract the voice recorder app that comes installed with ARHD ROMs. A friend of mine wants something similar but can't find anything comparable in the market. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Unfortunately, no protected apps show up on the new MyTouch with the 3.5mm jack or on the Fender LE. Apps that I PAID for on my G1, aren't available to me on my new MT3G. T-mobile hasn't been any help, nor has Google. I'm rooted and I guess I could switch to a ported ROM that doesn't fully work but I'm quite happy with a rooted stock ROM, I just want to be able to access protected apps in the Market. I've tried using different build.props but haven't had any luck. Anyone have any ideas?
I added Issue 7013 to the Android Issue Tracker: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=7013

Hi guys,
Is it possible to install? How can I do?
I already looked here on the forum but do not find any conclusive answer.
It looks that the Desire S do not have the root accessible to be able to instal the Gtalk version with video. That is correct?
Thanks.
indeen, root is needed for the modded gtalk with video chat. so without s-off there's no new gtalk.
if you have s-off + root, here's the place to look for it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056793
It can help others....
I am using an alternative app, it is not 100%, but runs fine.
Search on the market for VTOK. It is Google talk video chat.
I think Desire S need to be rooted to use it
I use Fring
I am wondering if anyone knows when a 2.3.4 rom will come out because that is when google added official support for video chat to talk. I know I can use apps like qik, etc, but my wife would really like to be able to do phone>PC chat so she can talk to our niece.
So far the apps I've found that do phone>pc chat don't support the sensation yet. I was hoping root would help me get a proper 2.3.4 rom.
There is a hacked version of gtalk that make it posible to use audio chat and see video chat of others but the sensation cam wont work.
Just search for gtalk video chat 2.3.3
Just try this:

In case gTalk doesn't work with HTC Sensation, And if you want to use skype for video call from phone to PC, you can download a "special" version of skype in the link below:

Hopefully it works for you. I know mine works!
I was looking for installing CallRecorder software on my sensation, however it is said that I need kernel with 2-way call recording patch.
Does anyone know where can I get it?
Thank you..
The link to the app:

i've tried these 2.

but i believe almost all kernel here support 2wcr.
the thing is, your voice is too loud and sound distorted. not sure because of kernel or app. maybe because of kernel because on HD2, my voice is fine. too lazy to try other kernel. let me know if you found a good one.
do you hate sense?
like to try ICS?
regret because you spent money on skvalex's app?
good news everyone.

this rom will work superb with skvalex's app. also work with bluetooth.
My search is not working well on mobile so I need assistance. I need to install a TouchWiz ROM on a relatives S3 that has built in call recording on all calls. Else a mod that adds it.
Any help would be appreciated.
