what android phone do u think has the most dev's

just asking because I'm needing an new back up phone.

I'd assume Nexus ones.

Galaxy s and Nexus s as far as i know. Correct me if I'm wrong.

S2 as well, but Nexus is the only true dev-open phone.

i have the Samsung galaxy 2 and there noo great roms i am using beast mod 4..2 i like beast mod but i am looking for a back up phone that is well dev'ed so i can have a stable more problem free phone i would like to get a droid 2 global or a my side kick 4g
p.s witch phone is better side kick or droid 2 global

if you really like to taste a lot of roms and have the latest builds i think ill choose somethink like nexus s or galaxy nexus, they are google phones, so they will get the latest updates.

I don't know that quantity is better then quality. ROMS for thunderbolt seem as solid as the phone itself.

It will say that regardless, it said that for GTA3 and it runs like $^#%, nothing but lag with that game. I downloaded a cracked copy, Gonna give it a test run to see if it runs and will report back. If it runs I'd be glad to buy it for $7

Just got done playing 10mins worth of gameplay......The game runs smooth and great on Zeus Rom.

Is it worth the money? I have been looking at buying it for a while, i just haven't been able to bring myself to buy it.

It got addicting......I bought it and it's working Fantastic! It kills 3% battery every 10mins, Not bad considering the graphics.

I grabbed it for my infuse after watching my 13 year old play it on his Experia Play. Its quite awesome on the infuse. No glitches and very addicting.

Wonder why GTA3 runs horribly then. Confused but I'm sure its glitches.

download chainfire from the market...install the drive with reboot (from cwm seems to cause problems) then change the default opengl settings to unroll textures to 32 bit...either that or the one about about 16-bit something...that should allow you to play the game
i think it might depend on the rom tho...on galnet miui the game played fine, but by unrolling textures with chainfire, graphics looked better AND the game played better
havent tried it on zeus tho...hmm where's my phone....

I'll give chainfire a whirl and report back thanks.

It downloaded 137 MB, and then went kaput.
Even chainfire doesn't seem to help!!!

It runs ok on the infuse. Isnt anything close to the double core phones but it still runs looks awesome but like I said it has stuttering unlike on the Atrix or skyrocket I have but the infuse still handles it OK.

Well if we Get a graphics driver update like the Captivate did, there may be some hope in better gaming performance with the Infuse.

Played the 1.98 version and it runs flawlessly on Zeus with overclock to 1600. Haven't tried it on 1200 yet. I love this game and all but it freaks the crap out of me so bad I'm too scared to play it.. will someone hold my hand??.. lmao

I am curious about the size of the game. After the install, does it require additional files? If so, where are they stored? My phone is pretty damn full so I was curious about how much room it will take and up where it'll end up.

Which phone is/was the best for you and which the worst?

Im using the HTC HD2 with Android 4.1 on it, and that phone is truyl amazing even though it came out 2009.
ZTE Blade -> HTC Wildfire S -> HTC HD2.
And what was / is your worst or best you ever had?

My mother owned it once, Lol it was like a joke.

Best phone: Galaxy Ace (had nothing better yet)
Worst phone: HTC Wildfire, bootin took 8 minutes and it froze like every minute....

Motorola and Sony Tipo
Best - Motorola Atrix - Stock MotoBlur UI was really bad, drained battery and rebooted randomly. Changed to CM7.2 and it gives me almost 2 days battery and absolutely stable.
Worst - Sony Tipo, very bad touch response and random freezes.

New here as well, only had 2 android phones so
Best: Samsung Vibrant
Worst: Motorola Backflip

Only had 2 android phones. Was a big nokia fan but wanted t try android for a change.
Worst: Galaxy Gio. But it was actually a great phone. It finaly got to slow so I upgraded to:

you can all power off your post, the best android for very long time is the asus padfone 2, the s3 is so slowy than padfone 2, the iphone 5 pffff.....what else!!!!!where is the really evolution!!!!(yes evolution not revolution!) a battery who don't go 1/2 day?!? all the person who have this phone at my work come to the work with a power pack or the charger so where is the mobility?????and the price.....the one very positive things is the quality of fabrication, it's a reference for all the firme,
for the majority of phones the problems are the during battery or the fquality of fabrication, or the speed in the the phone and multitasking,
for me the really podium of the phone is :
1: asus padfone 2 for the concept/design/fabrication, the battery(2 days!!!!!), the speed/multitasking, and all the harware!!!!!!!
2 : galaxy note 2 for the battery, in 2012 nearly 2013 is so important and it's right thing that we can have a battery duration more one day at this price, the speed/multitasking, but and a big BUT hte note 2 isn't really for me a phone
3: nokia lumia 920, good concept, rootable so xe can install android in the futur, the battery, the looks and the fabrication, big negative thing...windows8 it's my opinion

as the title says what would be the best version of android to start with? i have a wide range of phones soo heres a list:
htc droid incredible : 2.2-4.2
htc mytouch 4g : 2.2-4.2
htc inspire 4g : 2.1-4.3
htc dream : 1.6-2.2
motorola droid : 2.1-4.2
samsung galaxy s captivate 2.1-4.3
samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 4.0-4.3
lg ally 2.1-2.2
as you can see i have allot of choices i will most likely be doing cyangenmod themes though only cm 6-7 and 10-10.2 ics dosent really fit in unless cm 9 themes work on 10 and up. The amount of editing would not matter to me.

Ics it's easy than any other version
