It will say that regardless, it said that for GTA3 and it runs like $^#%, nothing but lag with that game. I downloaded a cracked copy, Gonna give it a test run to see if it runs and will report back. If it runs I'd be glad to buy it for $7

Just got done playing 10mins worth of gameplay......The game runs smooth and great on Zeus Rom.

Is it worth the money? I have been looking at buying it for a while, i just haven't been able to bring myself to buy it.

It got addicting......I bought it and it's working Fantastic! It kills 3% battery every 10mins, Not bad considering the graphics.

Ok. Im going to quit being cheap and just buy it. Thanks

I grabbed it for my infuse after watching my 13 year old play it on his Experia Play. Its quite awesome on the infuse. No glitches and very addicting.

Wonder why GTA3 runs horribly then. Confused but I'm sure its glitches.

download chainfire from the market...install the drive with reboot (from cwm seems to cause problems) then change the default opengl settings to unroll textures to 32 bit...either that or the one about about 16-bit something...that should allow you to play the game
i think it might depend on the rom tho...on galnet miui the game played fine, but by unrolling textures with chainfire, graphics looked better AND the game played better
havent tried it on zeus tho...hmm where's my phone....

I'll give chainfire a whirl and report back thanks.

It downloaded 137 MB, and then went kaput.
Even chainfire doesn't seem to help!!!

It runs ok on the infuse. Isnt anything close to the double core phones but it still runs looks awesome but like I said it has stuttering unlike on the Atrix or skyrocket I have but the infuse still handles it OK.

Well if we Get a graphics driver update like the Captivate did, there may be some hope in better gaming performance with the Infuse.

Played the 1.98 version and it runs flawlessly on Zeus with overclock to 1600. Haven't tried it on 1200 yet. I love this game and all but it freaks the crap out of me so bad I'm too scared to play it.. will someone hold my hand??.. lmao

Anyone tried running the game or gta3 on the cwm community kernel v8? how's the performance?

I am curious about the size of the game. After the install, does it require additional files? If so, where are they stored? My phone is pretty damn full so I was curious about how much room it will take and up where it'll end up.
Thanks.

[Q] Should I get xperia x8 or LG Optimus one?

Which one is better? Please give reasons, cheers
Dont go to x8 whole system is full of SE *** which makes it unuseable so unless youlike its design very much I suggest u lgoo.
I dunno, I do not really like both.
Problems: the SE and LG...I do not like any of those brands.
Have you consider Galaxy I5800 or Wildfire?
Thanks both, i've not considered the galaxy, now im looking for some information, and Wildfire i think is not in my country (I'm from Argentina)
I think he doesn't care about brand. I wouldnt't pick Galaxy I5800 cus its the same like lgoo but has worse display. And wildfire (if you dont mean Wildfire S) is the worst he can buy (qvga and no possibility to run any 3d game)
So, in many ways, the LGOO it's way better than xperia x8 ?
I think so.
I am using X8 and install froyobread v22. It is quite stable.
For LG, which some people call it Lousy Goods.
Hm. so your choice.
I'm using the LG optimus t which is just like the optimus one. and I gotta say that for an entry level phone, its pretty sweet, especially after u root and flash and do all that stuff. it feels like I have a high end phone

Love the design. Love how they made the hardware buttons into that thin illuminated stripe. Way better than the 3 large silver buttons they had before. I'm usually an HTC guy, but if this phone comes out at the right time I might pick it up.
I wouldn't mind them making the next nexus

Hopefully, real performance will be butter smooth...

Getting a sweet deal on a sensation ... Love my g2x

So I can get a new sensation for.about 260.. Which is about the same I can sell my phone for, I dont have experience with the sensation...from online reviews it seems to win over the g2x..what should I do???
If u are looking to get a new phone for a low price go to wirefly.com that's where I purchased my g2x when it first came out only got it for 150
T-Mobile G2X
CyanogenMod Stable Version
7.1.0
They actually got the sensation for 150 on there right now

150 for a non-contract one?
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk
Im under contract so its the best price I can get it for ..
Why would you ask this on a G2x forum? haha
I've played with an HTC Sensation. In my opinion, it's not that great. The display sucks, and Sense really bogs it down.
dont buy it from tmobile, buy it from somewhere else. the sensattion is a better phone
For me it was sensation or g2x two weeks ago. I felt the g2x was a better phone and got it instead. I didn't see the reason to add an extra $60 for a sensation that is not as fast as the g2x.
lol I watched all the reviews online, and they said the g2xhad an ugly UI but was a speed demon, while the sensation was slower but prettier interface
when it comes to phones...speed over anything.
but don't get it wrong.. sensation is a great phone, and sense it cool.
I actually traded a sensation for this. After having gone to a sensation. I like the 3 d games and even oced and custom stuff was jumpy on that phone. The gpu is weak

Sgs2 = g2x > Hd2 > sensation.
I haven't seen a romed sensation yet though.
Just saying hd2 is a beast.
G2x is one of the best phones and is gonna be king till we get another buggy tegra3 device.
IMHO the only thing the sgs2 has over the g2x is screen real estate. O and its modem is awesome.
I haven't seen more phones with problems when it comes to g2x and the sensation, weirdness!!!

Xperia J Review & Discussion

Hello,
I know that in many thread sections, users have a review thread. I have not seen one for the Xperia J yet. Are there any Xperia J users that would like to mention what they like and dislike about their phone?
I notice the battery is huge, I wonder do users get a couple of days use before having to charge again? I've heard about a lag on the phone, do people find this? Also, I read that the audio is not brilliant, any ivews? :fingers-crossed:
Ok...
Battery 2-3 days
Audio speaker it's powerfull, with good bass
Keyboard very laggy, exchanged with SwiftKey
Even dialing a number I've counted some lags, exchanged with Dialer
Camera it's poor in low light conditions, very good outside in sunny landscapes
Evidently nice design
And a final aspect, at this price range its a bargain.
If you want a clean and sharp screen, hd, no lags, a perfect camera, go for a flagship xperia.
Sorry for my English.. I'm from Romania
Sent from my ST26i using Tapatalk 2
Thanks friend, that's good to know. :good: And you're English is very good!
as for me, my xperia J's battery last 3 1/2 (just doing some texting/calling and very minimal internet)..so far I haven't experienced prob with my stock keyboard, got some few lags when I'm using the cosmic flow live wallpaper, and also got some prob with that timescape widget, it doesn't update even tho I've already set it up to be on automatic...so far I'm happy with my xperia J but when the xperia Z comes out next year I'll probably by that one instead of the V
Thanks for the input!
I notice that there are some more expensive Xperia phones with higher screen resolutions - but the batteries of those phones die very quickly, even if the capacity is more e.g. 1900mha etc. It's a good thing that this (very good) resolution was used in the phone, I think.
Can someone please suggest me, should i buy this phone or Samsung Ace Plus coz the price and spec not so much different.. Thanks

Thinking of getting a Galaxy Ace II - Good choice?

It seems that the Galaxy Ace II's can be picked up ow for £130 which seems like a great price for a dual core phone.
Just a few questions before I buy though.
When is JB officially going to be released?
Does Gingerbread run smooth enough on the device?
Is web browsing relatively lag free?
Does Skype work without issues? (Crashes constantly on my current phone(
Do the vast majority of games run within any lags/issues?
Cheers

Yes it's very smooth, and if jelly bean hasn't so awesome features I don't want anything else than GB

-I like the phone.
-Performance is great.
-Skype works good... Never had any issues with it.
-Don't know about Jelly Bean as need to see it to believe in it.
As far I'm concerned is only a rumour gone wild...
-But gingerbread is smooth and is so different from the original ace.
Almost hard to believe is just gingerbread...
-Factory widgets are great and all runs really nice. Plenty of ram.
(I didn't root this phone yet ) as I didn't found the need to do it yet.
(unlike on the original ace)

Hello,
I'd also like to give you my thoughts on the Ace 2. You are right, it's a great phone for the price. But what I came to realize after 3 Android phones is that I don't like Touchwiz, HTC Sense etc. I will buy a Nexus 4 soon.
But to be clear, that is just my personal preference. If you don't mind these software changes made by the manufacturers than go for the Ace 2 I don't have any problems with Skype either, games are running fine and the developer community seems active.
JB will definitely come soon since there are already leaks around, they are made by Samsung, so obviously they are working on it.
The phone is good, feels good in the hand, does what it should and if you root it, which was made very simple by the way, you can easily overcome most of its weaknesses.
Hope I could give you some good info. Peace

I have owned the ace II for 6mths, now and I would say it is a great phone for the price if you believe the rumours JB, is on its way,
I would say though the phone as it is , is a good little phone,so in answer to your questions ,YES to all.

It's not as smooth as Galaxy SII, but battery time is much better with our Ace 2. For me it was fast enough, the only thing that annoyed me on GB was the lag between unlocking and staring the phone app. It was usually 7-10 seconds, sometimes it started instantly.
Now with JB Leaked it starts, faster, less time to start in worst scenario and it starts instantly more frequently.
I want AOSP for out phone, used it on friend galaxy gio and it's so fast with only a single core 800Mhz processor.
Yeah SGG is a good phone, used to have it but it breaks
