How to Make Cyanogenmod 7.1 to run smooth ! - Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670

I was using Cyanogenmod 7.2 RC4 earlier, but the camera quality was pathetic in that and video was getting recorded in 3gp format only !
So i thought to revert back to Cyanogenmod 7.1, but the thing is it is not as smooth as RC4 even overclocked on 763 MHz, though camera is working fine !
Can we make it run smoother by using Boot img file of RC4 with CM 7.1 !
Or is there any other way, to make it run smooth !

SMOOTH?...
No you cant take the boot.img of CM 7.2 RC4
But you can OVERCLOCK and INSTALL CHAINFIRE DRIVER

Solution for 3.50 and Leaked Sensation XE working like a charm.
Hi Guys.I found solution for us to make 3.50 really working.
1.clear dalvik cache and do superwipe
2.flash rom and test it...if still having issues like vol up down etc..do same thing again. This maybe conflict between old files with new file.myself do 3 times.
3.If somebody having issues about missing music apk..go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1253447 and install htc beat mode.and reflash back rom.
4.and lastly..annoying lower benchmark...go to oc daemon or watever program you use..setcpu.....set ondemand to perfomance and test it with watever benchmarking application.after that set to on demand mode again and restart.i get more than sgs 2 benchmark after doing this
now everything will run smoothly.
I test it almost everything included palying backstab and asphalt 6.No more lag...No more glitch.
This is my own experimental and hope will help u guys
1.Wat i have now...becnhmarking more than sgs 2
2.Truly in setting,about phone,hardware information 1.5ghz qualcomm msm8660 dual core
3.More free ram..maintain 180-200 mb
4.more smoother
5.Camera much better without need any mod
I test using Revolution Hd 3.50 by mike and it work.maybe same also with other rom base on leaked 3.50 rom.Using faux kernel is the best now.with Revolution Hd 3.50 its already using latest version faux kernel.

Recommended kernel for CM9

I'm running the latest CM9 nightly and noticed that the kernel does not give great battery and only runs at 1.2Ghz...
Was wondering if anyone could recommend me a kernel that goes up to at least 1.5Ghz and preferably has a GPU overclock too, that will work with CM9.
Thanks!
You can try Faux´s AOSP Kernel. But i think it´s Faux´s kernel they are using as stock.

Bricked doesn´t have one yet. Dunno about Sebastian..
I tried CM9 and the battery sucks to me as well. After all its at Nightly stages so i just let it be for Beta testers and wait for the Official release.

Kernel Compatibility

Hi guys,m using official cyanogenmod 7.2 on my galaxy fit,all i wanna know is can i flash kernels extracted from unofficial cyanogenmod 7.2 releases? ,also can i flash Andro-ID v3.3.1 kernel on cyaogenmod ROM ?? thank you
unofficial may work on official one but android-id's one may not work on cm
thanx a lot bro,btw is there an 864 kernel for cyanogenmod 7.2????
think squadzone had created one for gfit but that much oc is harmful for the hardware the limit is 7xx
thanx again bro,btw i wanna knw wether we can edit a cyanogenmod kernel,m using cm 7.2 nightly and i hav extraxted its boot img,i jus wanna add 800mhz clock limit instead of the 806mhz clock?
you cannot set the frequency you like phone is not stable on every frequency

JellyBean Always beats ics in gaming, since it has progect butter, which helps in smoothness. So go with CM10
Press thanks if I helped
thanks
will try cm 10 Stable
Suggest you install Marmite kernel (v7.2 Custom IO Control) on top of CM10.0 for better stability.

Maybe CM10 or CM9 with pandora or jarvis kernel but i tried them a lot of times and cant boot. Battery use will always be high i think, cause its CM10.1 and it is oc-ed.
P.S i think maybe ill try some sense (3.5 maybe) cause it boots very fast, no lags and better battery life.
for example
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2344110 i find this. this will be good?
Help me with rom and kernel i have to use?

very funny
Under clocking CM 10.1 will reduce performance. Its android 4.2, need more memory and cpu
@michal16
so u want OC? try OCed kernel, but remember to carefully follow cute_prince pll2 method
and about lag,it depends not only on cpu,but also sd-card u use,(class 4,6,10)...
remember to calibrate your battery after installing new rom
