[REQ] Asus Supernote port - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Themes and Apps

Hi guys,
Do you know Asus Supernote, the awesome note taking app from Asus Transformer?
It's working on Xoom, Galaxy Tab, even on the ICS port for Touchpad :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1456959
But it's crashing on our Galaxy Note. Do you know why? Is it because it's an honeycomb app in the first place?
I'd love to see it on our devices because it's so awesome and perfect for taking note.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, it's because the app requieres at least Android 3.

haha i see what u did there!

Too bad would be great on the Galaxy Note,
the included sMemo does not compare for pen to text conversion.
Any market apps similar to Asus's SuperNote?

Working on Team Rocket Rom v1.5beta ICS!

Regular note works well, but paint note doesn't. The paint won't save.

Works perfectly on my note running deodexed ICS 4.0.3 (;

Works on aosp but either needs low dpi and tablet mode or to be modded for higher dpi such as 280 or 320 like the more has (320). Otherwise it resizes weird.

I doubt supernote is worth porting. Much of supernote's programming/function has to do with converting fat crayon style capacitive stylus writing to a smaller more usefull writing.
Note does need this cumbersome conversion because of the Spen - it can write small to start with.

A must hav application

Try downloading the file from other source..........its working on my galaxy note N7000 like a charm. Its better than Spen inbuilt application of samsung in my view coz u don't need spen. So easy and smooth for taking note by fingers........

But I want it to work on the Galaxy Tab because the tab is more portable. I use my Galaxy Tab more often than my Xoom.
I think that for now, this game only works with Tegra 2 devices.

Have you tried the PvZ on the Tab with the ChainFire 3D by chance?

Yes, I did try Chainfire 3D with Nvidia plugin but it force closes while loading home page.
whatever you're trying to install can't be the real game, because it's not released yet. it will be out by month's end on the Amazon store.
I've also found this apk floating around. It seems like the read thing tbh. It gets to the loading screen then crashes and goes to my home screen.

Awesome. Cant wait.
Same with my GT here it just starts on the opening screen and after a few seconds self closes. Tried it both on stock froyo then on GB overcome....
not working for me on both galaxy tab and o2x.

it's NOT the real thing.. there is a chinese clone floating around. popcap has not release the game for android yet. period.
Chuzzle is fun but it eats a *lot* of memory.

Maybe because its leaked? You can hold the iPad version and this side by side and there arent any differences.
| Don't Revive Me Bro! |
There are two versions: a clone (that works) and a leaked one (since the release is tomorrow). The leak works well on Tegra 2 and I've read that someone was able to have it working on HTC HD2, but with a custom ROM with more RAM available.
Working yet
I got the leaked apk that's been going around, the HD 1.0 version, and it works fine on rooted SGS II. Looks like the proper thing as well.
Available now for free. I hope somebody can provide this here as it is only available in the US.....

i found an apk that worked on my GT but im not going to link to it because that would be considered as distribution of warez and a mod would have to come and edit my post.....

Looking for ICS tablet keyboard with English(UK) dictionary

I love the stock ICS keyboard, I got a dump of the Motorola Xoom and too the latinIME but it doesn't have a dictionary so it cannot use autocorrect unless I add each and every single word lol. So I need an installable apk for my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 that has English(UK) dictionary preinstalled. The ICS keyboard in the market is only for phones so that sucks but is there any out there for tablets? Really hate this Samsung keyboard that they included, prediction it too forceful.
Thanks.

Not a fan, been using the Samsung Keyboard, works but I feel like I have to fight it sometimes.

If you need split keyboard try swiftkey x for tablet. If not try Super Keyboard.
For me, Swiftkey needs time to learn and set up properly before getting good results. Super keyboard on the other hand, just worked.
In the same boat. Generally love my Tab 2 7" but the default keyboard is the only thing that bothers me. Kind of slow and buggy. I don't want/need a split keyboard on a 7" device and the non-tablet version of Swiftkey just doesn't seem a good match.
I'm going to give the mwerkz's suggestion a try.
Thumbs-up to Super Keyboard. Thanks for the suggestion. Fast , accurate and plenty of customization options if you want to tweak. Typing this repsonse on it .

AFAIK, TW4 can't be used on P1000 because of the hardware specs.
That's what Samsung said and abandoned our lovely P1000.

Utter tripe. Thats what they said about ICS aswell but it runs brilliantly.
I'm one of those strange people that like tw too, And I'd love to have this. But I don't like our chances. I don't think that it's necessarily because it would be too much for our Tab to run. I've played with an early version of S2 ics rom on my gs and it was ok. But the reality I think is that most of the developers who could do this are more interested in pure ics/jb or cm. And that's fine (I'm not complaining or anything). But my thought is that most wouldn't have any personal interest in porting tw to our Tab. And while it may work, it may not be as smooth as JB could be and then they'd have to put up with all the lagging/redrawing/sluggish comments.
I've seen that there is a version of tw ported to work on ics roms, I'm assuming that it's just the phone ui. Have half thought of giving it a go, but now jb is out it's time to move on again.
I would like to port personally Galaxy Tab 2 Touchwiz launcher to our P1000, like that 13-year old boy that ported Galaxy S3 launcher to AOSP ICS, but I don't know how to do. Could anyone help me or give me a link to some guide, please?
@Sir Otto yes yes please do. i will support you the way i can

On JB it works the same on our Note as it does the Note II. You can only ink on Month View and only in landscape orientation (I think the Note II only allows inking in portrait).

[Q] P3110 Lost tablet UI on Jelly bean Official

Hi,
after I've upgraded to 4.1.1; I've seen that gt2 has lost the tablet UI that It has on previous ICS version 4.0.4.; and It looks like a definitive step.
For me it's a downgrade of the tablet.:crying:
There is some way to change the UI to tablet again without changing to ICS previous room?
Regards.

Actually , its not Samsung, its the way God and Google intended it.
Google choose this style for the Nexus 7 , therefore all 7 Inch Jelly Bean tabs get it... Thank ya Google.!!

Well, OEMs can do 'old' tablet UI if they want. But Samsung has decided to just go ahead and keep that aspect even while replacing other things with Touchwiz.
I find it stubborn of them. Google created their tablet UI and merged HoneyComb and Gingerbread into ICS and further but they are not capitalising on their innovation. Phone mode on 7" tablet is still fine but having it on Nexus 10 is just ugly and not ergonomic.
yeah, especially when trying to tap home on Landscape...
Good side on the new UI:
well, actually, none. most shortcuts from 4.0.4 in status and shortcut bar were removed.
-Except for the halo effect circle when you drag.
Bad side:
-Annoying to click from top then to bottom
-Trying to make it landscape, the feel is kinda annoying, like when you tap home on Landscape.
yeah and the worst there is no nicely working TabUI for DMA2 (4.1.2) out there...
