The 763mhz with gpu.
801 seemed to vary, means it crashes sometimes.
This is not bad for playing purpose, but I donĀ“t recommend it for business.

[Q] My phone can't handle OC up to 801Mhz

guys why my galaxy fit can't handle OC up to 801Mhz? always get restart and restart again
i tried several ROMs like creed, CM7, choco, razo and still the same, can't go to 801Mhz and suddenly my phone restart
my phone can only handle and stable at 763Mhz, when i go to 774Mhz the result is not really stable, like closing app suddenly and freeze for a sec
any solution for that guys? thanks
aren't all phones basically the same?
so in this case i just unlucky?
all kernels are unstable at max and near max frequency....you can stick to anything below 750...im using 736 at razo is is as stable as stock rom...730 or 800 it shouldnt make a big deal of difference...and what app did you use to set frequency each rom dev might have mentioned the recommended one(no frills cpu control or setcpu mostly)and which governor do you use.........
i set governor ondemand and I/O deadline
almost all app freeze for a sec and then closing suddenly
but my friend's phone (galaxy fit) is stable with OC up to 800Mhz without problem
I keep my phone running on 801/245 MHz Ondemans/bfq all the time...
same with me, unestable if i try to go 740+ ... stable at 734 mhz

same with me ... i used razodroid v1, CM music edition, CM 7 RC5.5 and Chocobread v1 and still cant OC more than 734 Mhz ....
i have this problem too.
my rom is Cyanogen RC5.5 and i test OC frequency's on many roms"cyanogen music edition , CM7.2 , ..."
my phone was unstable over 740Mhz.
i test with no fillirs and Antutu benchmark and Overclock tools.
same prob...my gfit cant handle over 763..used razodroidv2 and cm roms
its not ur phones fault i think!!801Mhz is not stable yet on galaxy fit!! please wait for 801Mhz stable version b4 trying it! even my fit has issues at 801Mhz!! so chill guys!
Pretty Stable for me
can you insert the OC kernel and your Overclock App?
thanks.

hey my friend's galaxy fit is very stable using OC up to 801Mhz without any prob and issue, and the problem is why my galaxy fit can't?
i'm using RazoDroid's 801MHz OC kernel and NoFrillz CPU
i have to try out RazoDroid V1.0 on 801MHz then!!
my phone crash in 720+ mhz with all governors=(

[Q] Which is the BEST KERNEL for STOCK ROMs??

I don't know which kernel should I flash and I really don't know what is the best stable kernel out there ?? I already tested UC Kernel v9 and it seems it's not stable..
You can delete this post if you find this is as un-useful ..
Here and there, there are only a few kernels. Bck kernel/Uc kernel/vurrut kernel. Don't overclock too much, at Max about 1.2 ghz as some phones go into random reboots beyond that frequency. Currently on bck kernel beta 13, but I change kernels quite often
Cheers

I'm currently using vurrut v5 uc. It's a very good battery saver and very stable.
try BCK...dont oc though....its stable and gives good battery life

Thank you very much for anyone who replied to my post..
Jeah, my phone suddenly reboots when I overclock my phone to 1.35Ghz on UC Kernel.. Not sure why ..
Anyways, is BCK stable enough ?? I might switch to BCK.. I heard from some people that I can't use NoFrills or SetCPU to overclock, only on Terminal .. is this true ??

Very very stable. Hasn't randomly rebooted on me ever. I do make sure that cpu no frills keeps it to 1.2 ghz and below though.

Ok thank you kabayan for your time. I might try it soon hehehe
OK well bck kernel default is overclocked to 1.2ghz so you can use 1.2 ghz by setting it through no frills. However if you wish to change the frequency at each opp(meaning steppings), then use the commands given in his thread.
Cheers

[Q] MIui v4 for galaxy 3

please tell me ASAP... The ROM is ****ingly aweosome!
PATIENCE!
Our phone runs at 667MHz and the kernel in MIUI V4 runs at 1.2 GHz because it is overclocked kernel. If you don't want to mess up your phone by overclocking, flash this rom anyways, but then flash NON-OC kernel. I think G3MOD 2.5 NON-OC should work with it.
If you don't want to overclock your phone, you will notice some (big) lag probably with MIUI.
Kk......

First I think that this shouldent be in this section, but this is not my concern, second to answer your question, Matrix is one of the best kernels for Nexus S (my personal favorite is Marmite but still this is good), so I thinkl it's safe to say that this is not a kernel related issue but rather a owerclock one, be sure that there is a reason why Samsung clocked the procesor at 1GHz

the v25 of matr1x kernel is working on 1.2 normaly ...
is the marmariv or the v24 working with more clock speed ?

marmite is more stable but it is not good for overclocking.
on matr1x v25.0 i couldnt overclock because i had the same problem with you. rebooting.
the only kernel i was able to overclock cpu without any reboot problem is matr1x v24.0 on 1320 mhz
now i am using marmite and i dont even try to overclock because i dont need more cpu power. it drains so much battery...

[Q] CM9 (9.2.2) Overclock [P500]

Why the last version of ics can't be overclocked?I mean,it can with another kernel, but why all devs who release a cm9.2.2 version use default kernel which can't be overclocked (max value) [IcySnap 2.0,NFE 6.0,maybe HardLight 4.0,etc] ? Is the phone actually working better at 600 mhz than 710 + for example? Any answer will be appreciated and please stick to the topic !
Ps* Sorry for wrong section!
As I know they can especially with 3.0.8 kernel
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
The phone actually works better at 600mhz. You can try overclocking with sweetnsour kernel, but you will notice that after overclocking phone runs bit laggy and benchmarks scores also decrease. Maybe its limitation of ICS + 3.0.x kernels.
Overclocking works fine with cm10.1 which has 3.0.8 kernel.
But for games for example, won t them run better with oc?Or I guess you can t have both: a little games performance & smooth ui?
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
It was disabled in stock CM9.2.2 kernel by hephappy. You can use custom kernel by sweatnsour or DJNoXD (look at Original Android Development forum) and then you can OC your phone. In my opinion, beta 5 by DJNoXD (also 3.0.x based kernel) is the best.
