Are you on a Liberty ROM?
I've never had any issues applying system fonts through Liberty Toolbox, but I've also only used the toolbox while running a Liberty ROM. I had to delete Fission Rom Manager when I switched from Fission to Liberty due to it always force closing.
I'm researching on how to apply system fonts on my Gf's DX running stock Gingerbread 2.3.340 Rooted/De-odexed with a Purple Serenity Theme.
Just stock gingerbread. Thats it. Rooted.

If you wish to use Liberty toolbox to change your font, you need to be running a Liberty Rom
Thanks for the help.

Search the Market for any Root Font installer... I paid for a 99cent one and it worked fine.
If you want to spend a buck more absolute system does fonts and boot animations. Great app!

I am also interested in the OP's question.
Is it rebooting after or asking you to? Sometimes it might need to be done more than once.

Couldn't say why but I was able to successfully change my lockscreen a couple times. I used the monster cm4dx not the sbf method, I'm currently on nightly 25

Ya. It reboots, But it never changes. Have you successfully done it?

Yeah, when I do the Metamorph to finish a theme they have all worked except for the one for Linear. That one made me bootloop and had to sbf and start from scratch.
That is odd. I guess I would try and run them again as long as metamorph is not giving you Amy errors. I have read that other people are adjusting settings in metamorph to make it work but I have not bought it.

Do not use the app metamorp use zipthemer. If using a CM7 rom you must use the update edify. If anyone is interested I can help or just search zipthemer here or in Droid X Forums or in Droid Forums.

[Q] Metamorph/Zipthemer compatible?

Hey guys, i found a pretty nice ICS theme which has a zip file that is said to be compatible with metamorph and zipthemer. I'm wondering if our device will work with them. I'm on audiophile.redux, froyo.

(Request) Froyo or Theme

I am looking for a froyo theme for CM7. Are there any available?
Search for 'RetroDroid.'

I have tried. The apk file will not show up on any of the launchers or theme choosers. I have also tried rebooting.

You use adw launcher, or launcher pro to install that icon pack. For installing themes I would recomend on doing more reasearch on the treads. This has been asked many times. There are diffrent themes for diffrent Roms. You need to be rooted in order to flash custom Roms and custom themes. Please help you self and research, the forems, before asking questions.

Its ok I should just make my caption say premium search doesn't work xD Haha so I don't have to explain myself all the time :/

I know that with adw and I believe go launcher now, you can use custom images for icons. If they're regular images, you can simply unzip it and browse to them thru your launcher options.

I use adw its easy to change icons, you can apply a whole set to a theme or long press app or folder from home screen to change icon. Very easy and quite handy
You can also use desktop visualizer....anycut or its big brother Better cut from the market.
But most launchers give you the ability to use custom icons.
