[Q] I can't install Creed's ROM on my fit!

Hey guyz i am quite confused i am unable to flash Creed's rom on my fit! { don't know why }
..I tried flashing the ROM over CM7 and FitDroid but got stuck at the "CREED'S ROM" boot logo!..
I thought it might be because of the custom Roms (CM and FitDroid)...so..i flashed ddkq5 from odin then flashed Creed's ROM v1.4 via Cwm ( i have tried cwm v4 and cwmv5) but still the same case!...
Can someone provide with the actual method to flash Creed's rom v1.4 ?....

I managed to flash Creed's ROM v1.5 !...
To all others who are not able to flash Creeds ROM ...namely, Gendows and Reikableu ..please flash v1.5 it installs without any problem whereas v1.4 gets stuck on boot logo!

1>go to recovery and wipe data/reset
2> flash creed 1.3 with odin
3> let the creed 1.3 boot then shut down phone
3> go to recovery and wipe data/reset again
4> now flash CMW via odin
5> open recovery wipe data/reset again (see if log shows any error)
6> now install creed 1.4 via CMW

i tried every possible thing
just skip it and wait for the 1.5 version

I think you should first upgrade to xxkq2 coz cm can be flashed only on xxkq2.After that flash flash the creeds rom in general method.

Hah...bro who told u that CM can be flashed only on kq2! ..I have flashed CM on almost all 2.3+ firmwares...and as far as flashing Creed's ROM on kq2 is concerned I tried flashing Creed's RoM on kq2 also but no luck! ..

Im talking about cwm 4.0.+ and later the cwm file wont be flashed on xxkpl and other versions iv tried it many times it can be flashed only on xxkq2 im talking
about clockwork mod recovery if u flash it in other roms the recovery mode wont display and it just gets stuck in boot logo.

Yup!...u can't install cwm 4.0+ on xxkpl but u can flash on other firmwares ..u can flash Cwm on deodexed xxkpl by vish though!

1- Flash any Froyo Rom via odin
2- flash any GB stock rom "i used the kq5 "
3- Flash CWM "i used CWM 5 V2"
4- flash creed's rom "i used 1.5"

bro this is stock official rom it has been released by samsung only for indian market coz of the last rom 2.3.6 ddkt1 was sluggish and pathetic so they updated and made this rom available for indian market and bro it cant be flashed via cwm coz being rfs file not et4 type:-(...you can get the rom by kies,samsung service center or using odin only bro...

hey, i went from custom rom, wanted to flash this stock rom to try creeds rom, and now, i went data wipe, format system , and want to apply this rom via odin, all instals, buut, when it fristtime want to boot, i get many yellow color letter errors on screen and phone is in boot loop

ya install this firmware from odin..and then wipe/clear all data..thats it!!
then install CWM again if u want to install any custom roms

1. fastest and best?? all are great in their own sense...and whomever you ask will give different opinion...so try and see for yourself...
2. search before posting...you will find it in the thread itself...
3. all of them support flash
4. none require rooting, since they all are already pre-rooted
5. you can install any of those over ddkq5...infact you can install any custom rom over any stock rom...
6. rom size depends...some cm are 90+mb, while ics that I tried was 130+mb

and pratyush won't be reuploading v1.x, since he is working on v2...
and press the button, don't write it!!!

Creed's Rom
Creed Rom is best because Closest to stock rom and You have an option to use ICS theme also for Having an feel of ICS.
Also the Overclock works Fine in creed's Rom
The Rom is the smoothest I have 62 apps(link2sd Of-course ) installed on rom but no lagg

Best Rom threads are prohitbited on XDA..
pl read the Rule before you post.

try official CM7 it works fine with evrything working.
FIT havn't yet got CM9(and even never) but you can try yajnab's CM10 its almost fully working..:good:

Janas rom latest version has Arabic , stock rom 2.3.6 for Region Iran has Arabic too , u can get it from samfirmware.com

CM7 20121202 release. we get updates every sunday..

then
follow these steps
backup your current custom rom ( just to be safe ) .
wipe data/ reset
format system
wipe dalvik cache
install zip from sd card
and reboot

no need to pull the battery out , after rebooting hold home key + power key and make a factory reset then reboot again

You're making it difficult for yourself ! Flash that stock rom , it has Arabic ,,, then if you want CWM recovery , go for TJ Style's CWM and flash it using Odin pc ,, any other cwm may brick your phone

I'm using janas rom , lots of tweaks and customizations . For stock rom u can root it and delete unwanted apps for more free space and ram , also u can flash slaidyboost script . It has some good tweaks but I'm not sure if it could be flashed over stock rom or not !

[Q] OTA manual update jelly blast galaxy y

I have flashed the custom rom on my galaxy y which is the jelly blast v3. When i tried to update my rom via ota it says error in downloading update i have 3.0.0 and the rom gives me a message of updating to 3.0.4 what should i do should i mannually update the next version 3.0.1. If yes please tell me how to do it through CWM because i dont have a good knowledge of CWM so please help me how to update next version of jelly blast through clock work mod????

Just flash the zip file ( updater JBV3OTA2 ) in clockworkmod recovery then wipe cache and dalvik cache and you are good to go. :fingers-crossed: :laugh: :highfive:

can u help me..why i cant flash first ota on jelly blastv3 3.0.0,,,,,,,,,,??cant even use ota update center keeps saying ROM UNSUPPORTED,,,after i flash the rom my kernel stay on stock kernel,,,is it normal??or do i have to download and flash the kernel manually???

Is should be normal for u and u can downloa the ota's at the link above i hav given. Pls press thanks if i helped. If u want the kernel , try reflashing the rom again. ( if it works with stock kernel perfectly you don't hav the need to change it.
