hello people whats up!!!
i want to know plz,i download everytime few themes and few pf them like icehd got dialer skin in the theme,my question is,everytime when i change the skin only the wallpaper and lock screen change,not the icons and not the dialer
what im duing wrong???
and another question if i download only icons how do i enable them?
i know in miui i can choose what to change from the skin but in other roms i cant?

If your talking about the sense 3.5 skins fire ICS it's cause they used a flashable theme for the ROM the skins don't change the dialer or icons you have to use a permanent flashable zip you can find them around or in the ICS fixes and mods thread

could someone help me im looking to change my icons with icons from other roms and themes i have the images saved but how do i go into a rom and make the correct changes and i got my icons from a galaxy nexus theme does that matter

Easiest to do this is use other launcher then stock one. You can edit icons, rename them etc. ADW launcher from market works great.
Have you been looking for themes or why i made this post...clock themes... go here http://android.gcfam.net/devs/psychoticvoices/ and you will find some pretty cool stuff

I got two questions...
1- Do you want to make your own theme?
2- Or are you trying to take components from other themes to make one theme?
*hope that makes sense*
Answer: Go to themes then click customize from there you can piece together themes to make your perfect theme.

Uhmm possibly but its hard and u cant really do that much its just pretty much archived named .mtz so u will have to un archive edit and re archive or i think u can just name the folder theme.mtz(obviously not theme...)

i wanting to change the way my battery looks i was going to try and use the android battery and make it purple.
I modified the Black Ice theme for MIUI. I was able to get rid of the Chinese characters on lockscreen. I also changed the bootanimation to the Google boot animation. Here it is if somebody wants it.

Yeah just look up how to theme miui and find a good guide then place the file u want tobchange in the app name in the mtz

Thanks for sharing my stuff ...i have been away for almost a year returning to do so more theming.so hope fully i will be posting more clocks and themes etc.the miui-us forum has all these and more

ive got the original sense 4 flip clock if u want that mate ? if u do let me know and ill upload it in this thread

i am trying to theme the rom(cm7 nightly).... the problem is that i cannot theme the dialer.. ... i searched thorugh the phone.apk but i was not able to find what images to be replaced:silly:... and if its not in phone.apk... then pls let me know where can i find it... ?
i am sayin dialer like ics style , lik miui style... and all...so kind of want to make it like that... pls help.. :fingers-crossed:

If you want to theme the dialer, you'll find it in Contacts.apk
According to this thread: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1215898)
"Theming Contacts.apk, will customize the things you see before placing a call.
Theming Phone.apk, will customize images during or in-call."
And it's true: I decompiled Contacts.apk and was able to access the dialpad drawables ect..
will check it out..
