I'm sure using one-click would work fairly easily since it's just going in through adb. I have no idea if there's a clockworkmod or equivalent out for it yet.
My friend was able to get a rooted 4.1.2 rom on his xt926, but somehow, root access is now gone from the phone after installing some apps. The phone is currently on 9.16.6, is there any utility that is able to root this yet? I tried the Droid Razr hd utility 1.10, but it says it won't work with 9.16.6.
No root for it yet.

Is there a way to revert to ICS?
I'm in the same boat as you no root it sucks too. I guess we will have to wait for a root method when it releases

There are so many threads on the matter (most that lead to nowhere) that no one knows which you are referencing. If you know something, enlighten us.
Can the Kindle Fire utility root the Kindle Fire HD? I seemed to have bricked mine using it
Mod please move to relevant category.
It's more likely you will hard brick it by doing that. Read the disclaimer on the kfu post in the kf1 forum...

You can't use KFU with 2nd generations. As Stunts said you will brick it. Try this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2351201 make sure to jump back to the first post.
