[Q] Energy Rom Problem Dialing +1 Numbers - General Questions and Answers

I am currently running the latest version of Energy Rom (Jan. 11) on an HTC Evo 4g.
The problem comes when you sync facebook contacts. For some reason, Facebook adds +1 to the number, and when I try to dial that number I get "Call Lost".
I figured out it's because of the "+" in the number.
Has anyone else experienced this issue or has a quick fix for it?

[Q] Google Voice Setup Issues

Hello all!
I am having some major issues setting up my GoogleVoice Voicemail.
I installed the GoogleVoice App off the store... while running the setup, I encounter an error that reads:
Call settings error
Forwarding number change unsuccessful.
Please contac tyour carrier if this problem persists.
After this error I logged into my GoogleVoice account online where it gave me a number to enter on the dialpad which also prompts an error:
Connection problem or invalid MMI code
Has anyone else run into this issue? I have found similar threads, but none were helpful for a rooted Inspire 4G.
Any help will be appreciated!
No one? Really?
Bump.
I had the same errors. I just continued and gave it a try. Google voice picks up if I call from another phone. It picks up after 5 or 6 rings.
Then again I'm in a stock rooted rom. Could it be a problem with the ROM you are running?

I have the same problem as OP.

Invalid MMI code???

Hey everyone,
I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I rooted my MyTouch 4G a few months back and have been running the CM7 nightlies. I am currently running the latest CM7 release candidate.
My issue is that when I try to get the T-Mobile visual voicemail to update with new messages it always errors out. And when I try to call voicemail by dialing "1" I get an error message that says "Connection issue or invalid MMI".
I have a perfect connection and can make calls/go online. Voicemail is my only issue. Is there a way for me to update the MMI to be valid?
Thanks!
Anyone????????
Well in case someone else finds this and has the same issue...
I was able to resolve this after I called T-Mobile and they had me go to Menu - Settings - Call Settings - Voicemail Settings .
It was here that we discovered I had no number entered as the voicemail number. The tech had me enter my voicemail number 1805******* (the last 7 digits are hidden for privacy sake)
After doing this my visual voicemail started working and I am now able to call my voicemail as well.
ok dont know if it will work for you but it worked for me
add comma (,) in the end of the code
example:
*100*2# into *100*2#,
works for me
Nevermind...this is a dead topic. Sorry for the bump

[Q] ICS problems with Nexus S

I really waited for ICS to my Nexus S. Finally I updated it was ok but then the problems start to appear...
First was with the dialer and the phone log. After receiving a call in the phone log there is only number when there should be the name of the recent caller. Sometimes there's a name and sometimes only the numbers. Same problem seems to be with sms but thats not so common. When I get sms there's only number of the sender when there should be a name of the sender.
Second was problem with 3G connection. My Gingerbread worked good I was in love with it. But after installing ICS I couldn't connect to internet with 3G connection. It allows me to send pictures and receive them and it uses 3G but internet browsing seems to be a huge problem.
I have tried every options and there was no help. Anyone else having same problem? Anyone have a solution?

[Q] BlackJelly v0.8 at&t caller id problem

Thanks for this ROM
The BlackJelly JB V0.8 is awesome. I really love it but I have one problem and hoping someone can help...
All incoming calls display the caller id with a + in front on the number. For example +9998887777. If I try to call the number back I get a busy tone or a "can't make international calls" error message.
I've tried every setting but can't seem to fix that +in the number.
Anyone have a fix?
Installed after full wipe. BlackJelly v0.8 on Samsung GS3 AT&T SGH-I747

Dialer Keypad non responsive when used in shortcut

Hi everyone,
New to the S3 and this rom. Root, flash went well, and so far, I'm loving this rom. One problem that is stumping me is this:
Using ADW launcher, have a direct dial short cut to voice mail. The voice mail contact is set up to dial *86 ,,xxxx, so with one tap, I can call vm and access messages.
However, the keyboard then becomes non responsive. I can't delete or save messages, and if I have multiple messages, can't get to the next one.
Any suggestions on how to work around this appreciated.
I'm running the Jan 23 version of LS, and really only have this, and one other minor issue.
Thank you.
Still haven't solved this, but here's more clarification:
Phone is running LiquidSmooth 4.2.1m v2.1m beta 3.2
1. Using a 'direct dial shortcut. the rom dialer has a contact set up named voicemail, that is programmed: *86;,,XXXX. When I hit the direct dial shortcut, voicemail is dialed, xxxx is sent, and I can hear my first voicemail. The problem is the dialpad is non responsive. So, I can't save or delete the first voicemail, nor can I proceed to listen to the next one.
If I dial *86, and enter the password manually, then the dial pad works.
I drive a lot, and need as few distractions as possible. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
