[Tool]Auto Super Cid Script v3 - HTC Sensation

Hi guys
first of all it's my first script so if you find any bugs or you have some suggestions how to improve the script i'm here to listen
I think this script is otiose, but there is always bunch of people that don't know
how to use terminal and simple commands.
So if you one of them you are in the right place!
What you need:
1. S-OFF
2. HTC drivers installed.
3. Any kind of Windows machine
4. USB Debugging turned on.
5. And the attached file below.
How to:
1. Connect your phone to PC and set "Charge only".
2. Run the file: Auto Super-Cid Script By Pavelol v2.bat
3. Follow the instructions of the script.
Change log:
v3
added an option to check current CID by request. (thx aviorx1)

damn... but thx anyway

also curious, what was the error

i want to try it.
but you dont provide full instruction
i press 1 then i got adb error blah

do you actaully have the ADB exe file on the same path as his BAT file?
if you don't and his BAT file uses it then it won't push through.
probably be better if you posted the error message than just typing "blah"

+1 OP you should update the attachment

Super CID
Worked like a charm. Nothing else did. Thanks. Unzipped it, moved the two files to my ADB folder, replaced the the fastboot with this one and ran the batch file once the phone was hooked up. Easy as it gets. Good Job!!!

Excellent stuff. Thanks for that.
Excellent guide.
Specially for the adb noobs (just like me)
adb and sd-ext
Thank you very much for your guide. Very helpful.
I do not see the THANKS button under your article for me to click on it.
BTW, I do wonder if adb could be useful for me to deal with my Galaxy S2's external sd card that has disappeared. Can I use adb commands in order to try to fix that issue?
Thanks.
depending on the rom version it could be called " external_sd " or just "sd" look for either of those "folders" in your internal "/sdcard"

Well, thank you for your reply.
I've stock Android 2.3.5; I do see "external_sd" under /sdcard.
But "/sdcard/external_sd" contents nothing at all though a 16gig sdcard containing data (music+videos copied in it under Windows7) is actually plugged in the phone.
The problem appeared after I've rooted the phone with CF-Root for Galaxy S2.
I know I should look elsewhere on xda for that but I do not find any thread about "Samsung Galaxy S2 external sd card no longer detected". Only some other phone like DesireHD or Vibrant have been reported to have a similar issue. And no good solution where showed up.
I also cannot post on CF-Root thread because it says "You have less that 10 posts, so you cannot post here."
I thought using 'adb' could help fixing that problem.
Thank you again. Now I see the Thanks button under your post, so... <click>!
post in the Galaxy S II Questions and Answer area. the cf-root thread is for development not questions.
might want to check out my new user guide to find your way around.
Wow great guide! Thanks so much!

why not just add the adb directory to the system PATH under environment variables? then you don't need to create another cmd shortcut just to open up in that directory and you can run adb from anywhere.
this is a "super simple" noob guide. half the words you just used would just confuse noobs

ICS keyboard finally using BlindType technology!! :D

It took me a while to start trusting it with predictions because I was so used to Swype, but I started noticing little by little how it just kept catching little typos and correcting them exactly with what I meant.
So I opened up a new text file and put it to the test. IT IS FKIN AMAZZINGG!! Pardon my excitement, but I think Google missed out by not promoting the heck outta this
Also, if you set the Auto correction setting to Aggressive, its even better.
Where did you find it?

I'm using the Virtuous Inquisition ICS rom. Its the default keyboard. It's pretty damn good.
Apparently a lot of ppl are asking if this is it too, based on a 'blindtype ics' Google search. After seeing the blindtype demo again though, this may not actually be thaaaat good.. but it's reeeally good I think.

Ok so after the kind person told me about the lib file lol i was able to pull and push it and BAM! working android ICS keyboard Lol i uploaded everything to a zip if i knw how to make into a flashable zip i would so ill tell you how to do it adb lol
unzip the files
go to your adb directory in cmd window
type adb remount
enter
then adb push (drag file into cmd window) /system/app
enter
adb push (drag other apk file in cmd window) /system/app
enter
adb push (drag lib.so into cmd window) /system/lib
enter
and from there you can fix permission in recovery or jus test with you fix permission
i did a fix permission to be sure hope it works
KBICS is a flashable zip, so put in sdcard and go into recovery and flash it like any zip, i would backup just incase, i took the update.zip from the theme section place the proper files, so thanks to the dev for that
ROMS working on
-ARHD 6.0.2 ICS with beats

Lol..the Mac users tend to get the short end of the stick when it comes to tools. There's no reason scripts like this wouldn't work (maybe with a little massaging) via Terminal if they've got bash/fink and all the adb stuff setup.

Heh I hear ya. I was just saying that most linux scripts can work just fine (with minor tweaks) on Macs if the user has a little bit of *nix knowledge.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I thought the Rogers One XL had a CID of ROGER001, not ROGERS01?
