I want to video call my wife on her tablet and my little half-brother and, who knows, maybe other people on my Defy. I don't care that there is no front-facing camera, I can flip it around or use a mirror. There once was a "Skype_2.1.0.46_v10.apk (9.89 MB)" that was reported to be able to help someone like me but, after a few hours of highly focused searching, I can't get it. Does anybody know how to get Skype video calling to work through the back camera on the Motorola Defy MB525 Android 2.2.1? FCS, I found all the information I needed in the forums, but the file is just nowhere to be found out there!
here you go
hello this is the link to download that version via apk file and or qr code

Thank you for finding that for me. I was beginning to tire. (*~*)

Hi everyone!
I am new here and want to extend my greetings to y'all.
I am a complete newbie and have searched the forum but couldn't find anything closely related to my question:
I have a Droid Incredible flashed for StraightTalk. Everything works fine so far except for Whatsapp. One can send texts without problems, but when trying to upload a picture, I get error messages.
When choosing camera, after taking a picture "Share a file failed, please try again".
When choosing from the gallery, "Preview image failed, please try again" on all pictures.
Now, first of all, does this have anything to do with the fact the phone is flashed for StraightTalk or is this completely independent?
Are there any solutions out there (I am sure there are but maybe noone has had the nerve yet to deal with this issue)...
Would appreciate your help on this...thanks!
Droid Incredible flash
If you don't mind, can you please email me at [email protected] with any information you may have about flashing the phone to the straight talk network. I appreciate any help you can give. I have been trying to find information about this for quite some time now with zero luck.
Thanks
Please email me with the specific flashing dinc to straight [email protected]
I have a Droid Incredible flashed to ST but I can't seem to figure out the internet settings. I thought it would be like PagePlus settings, but I guess I was wrong. If anybody knows what those settings are please share. As far as pic mail goes try using Go SMS Pro, it's what I had to use on my Incredible on Boost Mobile.
I am looking for a Skype support video. I done some research and I installed the leaked one for the thunder and don't let me to install. Any solution?
Is there any news on this? I am due an upgrade, and would really like the Sensation, but i need Skype video calling to work!
I thought you answered my question JK. I really get tired of looking. Nothing work at all nothing support video chat or nothing every chat I downloaded just normal chat. Hopefully someone get with an a solution. From what I read online 2.3 does not support any video chat at this time. But there is some program you can use for video calling not chat like Tango. The thing I am really wishing is Android to have video calling by default like Nokia which when you call a number it asks you voice calling or video calling. Android is great but need a lot of work. At this point iPhone is so much better more than any Android phone out there. I really start to hate Android in general there is no support at all, Nothing growing. Everything is fixing bugs Ubuntu it's great but never complete like Windows or Mac OS. But we don't have any choice for right now just wait and maybe the companies will support and upgrade their apps.

I believe you need android 2.3.4 for video to work on skype and gtalk
Skype just updated it's app in the market to add vid support for "some" phones, but the sensation is not on the list yet. Anyone try out the new update?
hmmm seems skype video isnt working on sensation...
but on sgs pages of xda-dev someone patched video support in for sgs and sgs2...
maybe some dev can check out if this is possible for sensation too...
cheers...

Hi guys,
As you know, our i9003 is not able to make video calls (3G or wifi). In Gingerbread doesn't work in any app, and only Tango and only in Froyo. As anyone port gtalk with video calling for our devices? Or mod some app like Skype, Tango, Fring or Ooovo to have video calls?
For a long time I have contacted a lot with the support of Tango, Fring and ooVoo. I have sent videos, many logs showing the issue, all they have asked me. But they aren't able to fix the issue. Even look at ooVoo email:
"Hi Unkalo,
Due to Ongoing Problems With This device is going to be it removed from the market. I'm sorry We Were Unable to get it working for you.
ooVoo is also available on PC and Mac, I hope you can join us there.
Best,
Roberta "
No comment. Incredible, Instead to try to fix the issue, they remove the app from our market...
Please help, together we can do it.
buddy please dont make duplicate threads.
@vishal
your right pinunongtarugo in english means definitely right.
I have an SGS3 4G (i9305) and want to hardcode date and time, or date+time+location into an image and apparently the native phone camera doesn't support this so I am looking for an app that can do it for me.
I have tried LGCamera and Vignette neither of which supports it or I can't find it one way or the other. So if someone knows where I can either find it in one or both of those apps and get it working....
OR can direct me to another app or solution to my problem I would very much appreciate it. I have tried googling for the answer but didn't find anything really conclusive and it seems a lot of people are actually requesting it....
And yes I know the EXIF info is saved in the file, but thats not what I want. I want it hardcoded into the actual image...
But thanks in advance for the help, and heres to me hoping someone might be able to help me
Cheers
Anyone that knows?
Hi All,
I made the awesome decision to delete the stock video application from my Galaxy S3. I am on the latest version of KitKat (4.4.2 NE1). I originally thought that MX Player would be able to play MMS video messages, but it appears it is unable to. I am hoping that someone would be so kind to link me the stock videos program for 4.4.2/NE1. I need to reinstall it so I can watch MMS videos. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
-Grand
Same here...
Hi Grandmastem,
Wow, had this magisral idea too, kind of wtf hazardous trick right! I removed it with an app that is supposed to keep a backup in case, but didn't work, it just fooled me.
This post didn't inspired that much...well, by now you might 've been able to solve it, without flashing or reinitialise your device i hope
Did you find how?

@grandmastem, are you still having this issue?
I've got the Stock Firmware for the I535 NE1 on my PC.
If your still having this issue, I can grab the app from there and get back to you with where to place it since Stock Apps can't just be installed traditionally because that would install it as a user app and it needs to be placed as a system app.
This is all based upon the fact that you're rooted since you couldn't uninstall it if you weren't.
Hopefully you have this issue resolved but, if not, then just let me know and I can get you what you're looking for.
